drummerklg
I will get my 100th platinum tomorrow(finally) and I take a look back at the journey that I had, filled with tons of grinding, boosting, playing games I didn't even like just for the platinum, and I look forward to the future, to the next milestone, #200. I ask this question to all of you that are focused on getting to #100, or to those who already at #100. Is that it for you? Do you just not care anymore about platinums? If you get it, you get it? Or will you get those short and easy platinums, will you be determined enough to make it to 200? Edited June 22, 2013 by drummerklg

yellowwindow7
it took me ages to hit the 20, so i don't think the 100 will be the end if i ever reach that, i 'll continue as long as i am alive.
chrisy21
I'm at 87 and am looking forward to the big 100 but I've got really bored with the whole thing. I just Plat the games that I like and enjoy now. Too many good games to play than to spend ages on crap one's just for a Plat.
Undrey
25 was it for me, I'm restarting on another account, but I'm not really as much as a trophy hunter as I was when I started this account.
Aexuz
When I'm done with all my PS3 games I will keep up hunting trophies on the PS4 and Vita so I think 100 will probably fall short.
AaronMeh
I really can't speak here with my 3 platinums lol. Great job with your guys's number of platinums though! If I ever reach 10 I will be satisfied
wagaworldmover
lol it was never about platinums to me, I just focus on trophy collecting my milestones differ from yours in that sense. but as long as people have interests they will always be interested in platinuming there personal favs rather its to get to 100 or not. snakebit10
I am currently at 89 and having a hard time at the moment to keep it going. I am close on some games but haven't been as agressive going for them as I have been in the past. I think I'll get through it and press on. I doubt 100 will be the end for me but I may slow up some.
navep9
I dont care about platting games that much. If I can, I can. If I can't, I can't. I ony try to platinum a game if I get enjoyment out of it. If I spend hours bitching and grinding, then I stop.
DK_Scuba
I Platinum a game if I enjoyed it enough to do all the side objectives whetever they may be. Just got my 10th Plat and am really happy to say I loved playing each of those games lol
Beyondthegrave07
I probably won't reach #100 until the PS5, but I will continue to platnum games as long as there are games that can keep my attention long enough for me to obtain the plat.

Starrk_01
In a word...no. I probably won't get to 100 plats, but I currently don't see a reason to stop playing. By the way, congrats on the soon to be 100th plat. drummerklg
Kirbz
I used to platinum short and easy games when I had like 10 platinums. Right now I try to do more challenging games, although not all my plats are that hard. I get plats because I have nothing else to do. Getting a platinum helps me put more time into a game than just finishing the story and moving on. Therefore, until I finally get something better to do, I will continue getting platinums. Hey, how exactly am I supposed to clear class world command attack in under 100 turns. I am still not done with the first stage and I already have 14 commands... Kanks
It sure wasn't for me. I even put a couple plats on hold so Bioshock Infinite could be my 100th. As long as there are good games with challenging plats, I'll be there. Edited June 23, 2013 by Kanks
Arkthur
If I ever get to it, it wont make a difference, I only play games I enjoy, I'm not going to buy games I hate or don't interest me just for a plat. It's more about getting 100% on every game I love.
ShadeSplit
Why would anyone choose to stop playing simply because they've earned 100 platinum trophies? It doesn't make much sense. Edited June 23, 2013 by GameOverComesAll

He doesn't mean stop playing after 100 plats, he is talking about stop going strictly for them and just playing for fun.

Wolvie_181
No. I love playing games. Doesn't matter if it's a hard platinum or easy platinum,as long as I enjoy playing them I will never stop at #100.
ShadeSplit
I never said stop playing, I said stop worrying about the platinums, read the post next time. That's cute. I obviously would not have been able to answer if I hadn't read the post. You seem to be assuming that one has to "worry" about the platinum trophy and that it's a different concept than playing a game, but you are quite wrong. However even if they were different concepts, there is nothing about the number "100" that would logically change anyone's mind concerning what they're doing. I am sorry but you are mistaken, it IS a different concept, maybe people get tired of looking at guides and running into glitches and endless grinds, maybe they don't care about the platinums anymore and just pass the game and that is it.
