Update a Trophy List

I've added information on shovelware games on the first post!

To summarize, it could take up to a day for us to filter out shovelware from the main game page, but usually we should be able to strike them down within minutes.

How is that post a spam? Who is flooding this topic? Newer lists were already tagged as shovelware while this was still not, so I reported it here. No one is pestering you.

No worries! You didn't do anything wrong - it's a new thing so we're still sorting it all out :P

@BlindMango why do some games keep their remastered/definitive edition, etc. But, others that are missing that I highlighted not?

Mainly if it's the only version of the game on a new console, we'll take out the "Edition" part of the name. For example, if the original version of a game is only on PS4 and the Definitive Edition releases only on PS5 we'll strip out the "Definitive Edition" from the title because the edition is more like a subtitle rather than the game's actual title. If the original version and definitive/remastered version are both on the same console, then we'll sometimes keep the edition as part of the title to differentiate the two lists on the same console. There are obviously exceptions but basically we try to simplify the titles where we can so it works on all of the pages of the site in a more coherent way

Makes sense for games that have a release on 2 consoles at the same time: God of War Ragnarok for example. Or games that dont have an original release on ps like divinity original sin also make sense not needing any edition in title.

However, games that are clearly released as a remaster should always have it in the title. Bioshock for example which has the dlc bundled, MP trophies removed, graphics upscaled, etc not having the remastered title doesn't make sense. Its also sold as remastered on the case, on the store, and even on the psn trophy list.

Actually - Divinity has Definitive edition tag on psn as well.

Final argument - the games should have some distinction between different releases.

After long consideration, it would seem we have the three stacks for Deathsmiles figured out @BlindMango @Dreggitper

https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/14950-deathsmiles-iii should remain tagless as it applies to all digital releases + JP Physical.

https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/16517-deathsmiles-iii should be tagged as European Physical, as it is only buyable via Strictly Limited Games (though the two people I contacted both bought the Collector's Edition, but we suspect the Limited Edition would be the same disc)

https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/18052-deathsmiles-iii should be tagged as North American Physical.

Seeing as the two sets are physical, but are separated by region, maybe put a notation in their title referencing their region, while keeping them both tagged as Physical? Like so: Deathsmiles I・II (European)/Deathsmiles I・II (North American)

Thank you. ?

I have suggested this before in the other thread but there needs to be a flag visible somewhere in the trophy list so it's immediately obvious that the particular list has been tagged or not.

It would also make the tagging transparent.

https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/1703-guilty-gear-xx-λ-core-plus/ [PS3]

To be linked with

https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/1893-guilty-gear-xx-λ-core-plus-r [VITA]

It is worth tagging the Vita version as “• NA” as that’s the only region of official release (though many users in other regions have played/completed it) and people are asking if it’s been delisted (which it has not been).

That is not true. It was on JP store for ¥1500.

I can't find anything showing these are in the same series even though they are similar games and from the same dev. One doesn't seem to be a direct sequel or prequel of another either
