I'm quite excited about this one. I'd say the first Space Marines was a pretty decent Warhammer 40K game. As long as we get a decent hack n' slash like the first game, I'm happy.

I rather liked Space Marine. The online trophies were an annoyance, but I worked with a lot of cool people to knock them out. I loved the SP campaign, though.

At last. I just hope they remember to ditch the online trophies. I remember the online trophies being a total pain to get, especially the DLC Chaos Invasion. I still get flashbacks to being the last man standing on the last wave, out of ammo and having to dodge around the giant Ork Mechs and kill them with nothing but a hammer. The fact I was able to clutch that round and won was a miracle.

I played the first one only on PC and wasn't impressed with the multiplayer at all. Wouldn't mind if MP wasn't included at all.

I remember enjoying the first one after we got it on PS+. But I never got the Plat in it. But I know next to nothing about this property...so I was never interested in the 40,000 other games that were released since the first Space Marine.

I quite enjoyed the multiplayer, it was the 40k kill grind that I hated.

Honestly, I'd never thought we would get a sequel to the 1st one. Highly enjoyed playing the 1st one. Wonder how Captain Titus will be after the ending of the 1st one.

I'm really bummed Titus is being voiced by a different actor. He's 200 years older. You can tell by the service studs on his forehead. So, he definitely survived, but who knows what happened in between. 

 

I thought SM1 was amazing. I played through the story mode several times after platinum. I even did the majority of the pvp legit. It was so much fun when the servers were busy.

 

This game will probably get me to buy a ps5. I hope ps5 v2 will be out by then. I hate the ps5's design.

This game reminds me of Gears of War (jacked soldiers with big ass guns, brutal chainsaw kills, etc.), which is one of the few Microsoft's exclusive IP that I truly like. Looking forward to it.

GoW likely ripped off of Warhammer as the latter has been around for much longer.

Sucks this got pushed back to the end of next year, it was one of the reasons I bought a ps5
