100% from scratch in 2022?

Like the title says, I'm wondering if it would be feasible to go for the 100% from scratch atm. Is there anything glitched/unobtainble or any really annoying trophies in the DLC or related to the online? I've seen the Doomsday Heist trophies but they seem doable with a good group.

To my knowledge, everything is obtainable in the PS4 version.

 

The only thing that you should watch out for is if specific game modes are temporarily removed. This will impact the Numero Uno trophy, but people have earned it recently so it is currently possible, so prioritize it.

 

Other than this everything is doable. Heists do require a dedicated group and a lot of practice, but it's not impossible by any means.

 

I think the PS5 version is planned for March (who knows anymore) and the online should be free on PS+ so you may just wanna wait for that.

Apart from a good amount of time and a dedicated heist group, you'll be fine. The discord will be your source to settle this. Rockstar updates the playlists every week so keep this in mind about any possible activities you can't do for numero uno trophy.

I wonder if it will be possible to transfer own characters from previous gen to the new version of GTAO...

I would be surprised if it won't be an option. It was possible to transfer from PS3 to PS4, so why not PS4 to PS5?

I saw Rockstar say that you can transfer your online progress when the PS5 version comes out next month. So what I'm going to do is get all of the trophies on the PS4 and hopefully, they will auto pop on the PS5 version.

Numero Uno still possible to obtain in 2022. I suggest you go for the online trophies as soon as possible, you never know when the servers might be switch off.

I just got Numero Uno yesterday, not difficult as long as you have 1-2 guys doing the same or can help.

 

The other trophies are attainable but will require some grinding/coop sessions for the heist trophies.

 

I just started the game again on December 2021 (only Welcome to Los Santos unlocked), now I am 75%.

abit late here with reply but i never got waste management back in 2014 when the ps4 pro version was released but did get 100% stat trophy  , iv come full circle years later now its my last one for plat...so heres goes take 2 ?

This is a long long long game to start from scratch. It took me approximately 200 hours to do all the online last year, in addition to cleaning up the single player (had already dumped 50 hours into beating the campaign). And this was with a dedicated, competent group to run the Doomsday Heist. 
 

I would think long and hard about starting this game. I think the online on PS4 should be up for at least a couple more years, but I would prioritize those if you decide to tackle this.

I would not bother with the Doomsday Heist DLC. Those two trophies, unless you're truly hardcore and are willing to sit down and try again and again, are just not worth the time and frustration.

 

If I can just get the platinum for this game, that's good enough.

The worst part about Doomsday DLC trophies are Rockstar servers and PS4 GTA:O loading times, sometimes those black screens take so long it makes you feel like you crashed and ruined the run, other than that you should be in for quite a fun challenge.

Disagree. If you play 30 minutes everyday, or less, just doing the daily objectives, spin the roulette in the Casino, you can get some XP, having 4 stable friends to do them, and being level 120-135, those challenges... piece of cake. Just practise.

Believe me. They are not hard. Just knowing the protocol (check the guide) and playing to know the missions. Is not something you will get in 1 week. But u will get just playing.

One problem. I have bad internet. I generally just do what is necessary for platinum in terms of online.

The doomsday ones? It really depends on the team you're with. If you have a really good team, you can complete them all in a day or 2

I get mixed views on Doomsday. Some say it’s not bad, others say it’s horrible.

It's mainly down to the strategy used on each heist. Some of them can be exploited to prevent spawns

First, I really suggest to do the base game online trophies and play everyday to do the daily objectives and turn the roulette in the casino. You can get a lot of XP (up to 15.000). Then go for the regular Heist (DLC 1). Just to have fun and earn some money, XP, you can go for Cayo Perico Heist.

Then, find other 3 friends and play the Doomsday Heist just to discover the missions and get XP. Try to be level 120, minimum, for the Masterminds trophy. With that level, u can have 9+1 armours and good weapons (including the minigun for some missions).

Read carefully the guide for the protocol of that trophy in order to avoid the reset of the progress. Do first the 4 players challenge, then the 3 players, and then the 2 players. In some point, you will reach level 135. You can carry an Armour more (10+1).

Once this is done, go for the Elitist. There you can play in NORMAL. 

I suggest do not try the Masterminds if you are below level 105 or so. If you play everyday in order to do the Daily Objectives and the roulette, you will farm XP quite fast.

Really, at the end you will see that is just a matter of playing.

This Doomsday thing is overrated in my opinion, yes there are bugs with how it tracks, but there are solutions on how not to get bugs along with the quit app making this a joke. Honestly most of it is trial and error and from just playing it from start to finish in a casual play you get to know certain tactics shortcuts to make this somewhat a cakewalk only the odd one you might find annoying, but there are ways of controlling the spawns in certain heists etc so many tips and tricks out there It's whether you are willing to study video and see what works for you and what does not.

Nope.

I am telling you it is just to have a good character level (105-135), being familiar with the missions and just playing.

For example, we finished the run of 2 in less than a week. Playing 2 hours per day and 4 days. The fifth just for the finale.

And then, easily we beat the finale on 29 mins. We had to repet 2-3 times due the headshots. But it is just a matter to keep locked the last hack a bit.

Obviously the first run, even if you are 4, will be the once u will dedicate more time since you are going blind. But once this is done... piece of cake.

100% possible for the PS4 version, but you'll need a good team for the doomsday trophies, it's not the most difficult, but I recommend you don't attempt it until you are level 135 so you have max body armors (10) and you have higher max health. You'll also have the minigun unlocked for taking out the Juggernaugts in Doomsday Act 3 Set-up and Finally. 

 

If you have any questions regarding the Doomsday heist, feel free to ask me as I've done the CMM for it 4 times at this point, 2 players, 3 players, and I've done 4 players twice.

When I started GTA 5 a few months ago, I started with the online trophies and found a really good team to do the Doomsday Heist and for us it was pretty easy, so it all comes down to how good your teammates are.
