Someone else went through Steam Tactics already in this topic, and I agree with them - basic strategy RPG, but I still enjoyed it myself.

Haha. Yeah, I played LEGO Harry Potter when I was still in school on the Wii and found out it had trophies on PlayStation so I just had to buy it. ? I've already platinumed the remaster of Ni no Kuni but I already had earned a trophy on the PS3 one so I thought it's finally time to go back and get it out of the backlog.

I found the PS3 ver. easier due to a death dupe exploit that lets you dupe the free uber potions you got after the familiar catching was unlocked and get 99 of those items to sell for mad cash, thus getting Guildering the Lily out of the way before you were able to farm the gold tucotucos. (You can't do that in the remaster because the death dupe utilizes the PS3 hardware memory to work and the PS4, being highly more advanced, has no such issues, though I heard that there is a Platoon exploit to win Platoon all the time to gamble up money instead, though I hate casinos in game. The only reason I did them was because you need to have a zillion tickets to buy all the movie tickets for a trophy.) Will probably pull the old Kuni out someday.

I guess it's finally time for an update:

 

Balan was... ok. The worlds look great but the game just feels unfinished. And 6 buttons that have the same action? That just seems lazy to me.

 

HiQ Ace was easy and relaxing.

 

I didn't realize how much I had missed Ratchet & Clank until I played Rift Apart. The callbacks from the previous games were great and the new characters were awesome.

While not needed for the Plat I did do the rest of the sidequests and I deffinitly reccomend getting all the Lorbs because there are some cool easter eggs on them.

Ys VIII EU version was a mistake. I assumed the physical copy I ordered online was the NA version, but that marks the second year in a row that this series has trolled me during this event. (Last year, I accidentally played Ys: Memories of Celceta instead of Ys VIII.)

 

Bubsy was also a mistake. But for a very different reason.

 

Stray and Fe were cute. They also rhyme (I think?).

Yeah, I didn't know this existed until I saw a group of people doing a 100% Ni No Kuni speedrun race and they explained it!

And I'm officially half way done. Completed Jumanji, the game is pretty bad and the final grind is awful. It is fun with friends, but for the wrong reasons.

#8 done with Alan Wake's PS5 NA version now. Honestly was kind of boring to go through it after platinuming the PS4 version awhile back. Game doesn't have much replay value honestly. Either way, going to go for Scarlet Nexus's PS4 version next. Loved playing Scarlet Nexus originally, so hopefully it won't suffer the same fate as Alan Wake & it being really boring to go through. If that turns out to be the case, I might put it down & save it for last & do another title first.

Well, after 5 years I finely finished the last game for the A-Z Challenge accounting for my 3rd game for this event!

 

Actually since I'm on vacations since Tuesday, I was expecting to do more progress, but on Sanday night I end up in the urgencies with a kidney stone problem (again..), it has made for quite a terrible week for "anything" at all, so, my gaming also got heavily impacted.. luckily on Friday I stopped having so much pain and my gaming resumed a little more, but I was so tired of Quest of Dungeon, that it also slowed the gaming process..

So I just got the platinum for Secret of Mana, so the only game on my list untouched is its gaiden spinoff, Legend of Mana... which I am saving for next month as it doesn't take too long and I want to work on tities for other events and my Pokemon Living Dex on Pokemon HOME before Scarlet and Violet come out in November.

It's been a little while since I posted an update. I got a final draft of the badge design to the event hosts and expect that you guys will finally be able to see it real soon! As far as my gaming for this even has gone, I've unexpectedly been playing a bunch of Overwatch with my daughter for the past couple of weeks. She's been really into Genshin Impact lately and we haven't done much gaming together. So that has been a fun change. I gave up on trophy hunting Overwatch a long time ago, but I have managed to pop one or two random trophies recently. Besides that, I spent a lot of time on Guardians of the Galaxy. I did manage to finish it, which is my fourth game for this event. Since then I have mostly been working on Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves which should be more fun now that all the collectible stuff is done. I'm hoping to have that one and The Swapper done before the end of the month. That's about it, except for mentioning the 13 Plats of Halloween event. I am planning to participate in that this year, so I will likely need to make a couple swaps to this list so I can play things that can work for both. Since 13 games in two months is a lot, I will need to put focus there.
