This console sadly decided it would die many years later whilst I was playing The God Of War HD collection. I Wasn't to bothered with trophies when they first came out but after the taste of that first platinum I can say I have been addicted to them ever since So without further ado, here are those dazzling beauties 2009 Platinum's This Year WWE Legends Of Wrestlemania Call Of Duty: World At War SEGA MEGA DRIVE Ultimate Collection The Godfather II Wanted WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 Favourite Platinum: Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection earns this award. As a child the very first console I ever owned was a Sega Mega Drive, so it only seemed right to try and earn the platinum for a game which helped sum up a large chunk of my childhood. 2010 Platinums This Year Assassins Creed II InFamous Modern Warfare 2 HEAVY RAIN Red Dead Redemption Favourite Platinum: This is a hard choice as both Assassins Creed 2 and Red Dead Redemption are among two of my favourite games of all time. However a decision must be made and I pick Assassins Creed 2. This is due to the awesome story of Ezio life and the pain he suffers throughout the game and his story of redemption against those who had wronged his family. Also the platinum trophy looks badass 2011 Platinums This Year Assassins Creed Brotherhood Batman Arkham Asylum WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2011 Battlefield: Bad Company 2 InFamous 2 Call Of Duty: Black Ops God Of War God Of War II Assassins Creed Revelations Favourite Platinum: My favourite platinum of 2011 is Batman: Arkham Asylum. This game is truly incredible, the dark tone of this game accompanied by the gripping story of it left me playing this game non stop for months. Mark Hamill voicing the Joker is also just perfect as you just fall in love with his performance in this game. This game really is one of the best games I have played of this generation. 2012 Platinums This Year God Of War III God Of War: Chains Of Olympus Prince Of Persia Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker God Of War: Ghost Of Sparta Mafia II Modern Warfare 3 WWE '12 Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons Of Liberty Dead Island Killzone 3 Dead Rising 2 Batman: Arkham City Sleeping Dogs L.A. Noire Saints Row The Third Sonic Generations Burnout: Paradise Assassins Creed III LittleBigPlanet 2 Prototype 2 Far Cry 3 Favourite Platinum: As a huge Metal Gear Solid fan it shouldn't come as to much of a surprise that my favourite platinum from 2012 was 'Metal Gear Solid 2'. This game really does put all your stealth skills to the test in forcing you to have to obtain dog tags from all the guards on multiple different difficulties. This combined with the challenging VR missions really gave me that extra piece of satisfaction when I finally heard that platinum trophy pop. 2013 Platinums This Year Call Of Duty: Black Ops II Hitman: Absolution Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Uncharted 2: Among Thieves God Of War: Ascension Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception The Amazing Spider-Man PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Dead Rising 2: Off The Record The Walking Dead Wolverine Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Family Guy: Back To The Multiverse BattleField 3 Saints Row IV Captain America: Super Solider Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag WWE 2K14 Prince Of Persia The Forgotten Sands Favourite Platinum: This year is another hard one to pick just one favourite platinum as I loved obtaining all three of the Uncharted games within this year as well as getting both the Star Wars Force Unleashed platinums. But the title of favourite platinum of 2013 goes to Uncharted 3. This game was just so beautiful to play combined with the amazing story in this game combined with the improved controls of this game made it really stand out as a game that was the complete package and what other games need to try and match in terms of quality 2014 Platinums This Year Batman Arkham Origins The Last Of Us Grand Theft Auto V Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remember Me Tomb Raider: Legend Need For Speed: Rivals Battlefield 4 Deadpool Tomb Raider: Anniversary Watch_Dogs Tomb Raider Assassins Creed Liberation HD Tomb Raider: Underworld Far Cry Classic Wolfenstein: The New Order Borderlands 2 The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition Assassins Creed Rogue Borderlands The Pre-Sequel Favourite Platinum: With so many incredible games that I have managed to platinum in this year picking just a single platinum almost seems like an impossible task. With some incredible games such as The Last Of Us, Grand Theft Auto V, Watch_Dogs Wolfenstein The New Order and also Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel. So my platinum of the year award goes to .... The Last Of Us. This is a great game that really does deserve all the awards and credit that it has earned since its release. Also the trophy list is quite a challenging list but not impossible. 2015 Platinums This Year WWE 2K15 InFamous Second Son InFamous First Light Saints Row Gat Out Of Hell Assassins Creed Unity Sly Cooper And The Thievius Raccoonus Sly 2: Band Of Thieves Murdered Soul Suspect X-Men: Destiny South Park The Stick Of Truth Far Cry 4 The Wolf Among Us Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves PAC-MAN And The Ghostly Adventures Metal Gear Solid 4 Wolfenstein The Old Blood Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare Battlefield Hardline The Order 1886 Batman Arkham Knight Rocket League Crysis Sniper Elite V2 The Saboteur Everybody's Gone To The Rapture WWE 2K16 Favourite Platinum: It should come as no surprise by now that my favourite platinum that I obtained in 2015 was Metal Gear Solid 4. I had been putting this game at the back of the list of games I was playing for so long as I was intimidated with the multiple playthroughs required for the platinum so it was a great relief to finally grab this amazing platinum of one of my favourite games ever 2016 Platinums This Year Star Wars Battlefront Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor Tales From The Borderlands Ratchet And Clank Game Of Thrones Ratchet And Clank 2 Grand Theft Auto San Andreas LA Cops Life Is Strange Assassins Creed Syndicate Lego Batman 3 Final Fantasy VII Hitman GO: Definitive Edition Lego Marvel Super Heroes LittleBigPlanet 3 Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Ratchet And Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal Teslagrad Bully The Lego Movie Table Top Racing: World Tour Arcade Game Series: Pac-Man Coffin Dodgers Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Battlefield 4 (PS4) Zombi Need For Speed: SHIFT Far Cry Primal LEGO The Hobbit Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Tom Clancy's The Division Lego Marvel's Avengers Battlefield 1 WWE 2K17 Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens Assassins Creed II (PS4) Until Dawn Favourite Platinum: My favourite platinum from this year might come as a shocker to a lot of people but the game I enjoyed the most during this year was Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. This game was extremely fun to play after spending over 100 hours with training all sorts of different Digimon you have a great feeling that you would be prepared for any team combinations that stood against you without you feeling over powered for the battle. Also the soundtrack to this game is phenomenal and really helps capture each of the key moments in this gripping story 2017 Spoiler Final Fantasy X Batman World Of Final Fantasy Digimon World: Next Order Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Lara Croft GO Lego Jurassic World Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands Bridge Constructor Mafia III LEGO Pirates Of The Caribbean Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time So thank you guys and girls for reading my amazing journey through the years of platinum trophies...... Also, FINALLY! Someone who likes Uncharted 3 more than Uncharted 2! A lot of people tend to pick 2 over 3 because 2 had a "better story" but I found the whole Sully x Nate relationship as a more interesting story.
