Popular Post BlindMango
If you've recently changed your username: Visiting your profile on this site with your old name may not show any trophies once you change your username. In this case you will need to type your new username into the box on the homepage of the website for your trophies to move to your new name. You may have to wait up to 24 hours for everything to completely transfer over after typing in your new name. If some of your trophies or some games are missing from your profile, or in some rare cases none of your trophies show up at all, then you've come to the right place! There's a few steps that we must take to fix the problem. The problem is that you have probably accidentally hidden trophies in the privacy settings on one of your PlayStation consoles. This makes it to where nobody else except for you can see the trophies that you have hidden (Including this website not being able to see your hidden trophies). On August 2013, Sony updated the PSVITA and the PS3 systems to allow you to officially hide your trophies. The PS4 and PS5 also has the ability to hide trophies. There are two different effects that hidden trophies will have on your profile here on this website: If your profile here on the site is not updating no matter what you do or it's just completely blank with the message "Aww, no trophies here," even though you actually have trophies, this applies to you - read the the "Directions for un-hiding trophies" section below for setting your trophy privacy settings to 'Anyone'. If the first step doesn't apply to you, then you most likely will see an icon on the left side of your own profile page (Its probably been there for a while in this case). What this means is that you have probably accidentally hidden one or more random games from your profile. Hover your mouse over it and it will expand telling you the number of trophies you've hidden. This means that you have hidden trophies and they must be un-hidden on one of your PlayStation consoles to show up on this website. The only information we are given from Sony is how many trophies are hidden, not exactly what games are hidden! You have to figure out which games of yours are missing from your list on your own! (Unless you have a PS4 or PS5, where it shows all of your hidden games in an organized list in the settings menu). - - - Directions on Un-hiding Trophies To un-hide trophies, there are many different ways to do so and you'll need to choose one of the following methods. Do note that each console can only manage games from certain consoles, and not your entire library from all consoles. If you have trophies spanning many PlayStation consoles, the PS4 is the easiest to manage your trophy settings on. ON PS5 On the PlayStation 5, you can unhide a blank profile or individually manage all of your PS4 & PS5 games: Go to Settings by selecting the gear icon at the top-right of the PS5's main menu. Select Users and Accounts. Go down to the Privacy section on the sidebar and then choose View and Customize Your Privacy Settings. Scroll down to "Who can see your gaming history" and make sure Anyone is selected for that option. Below that is an option which says "Hide your games from other players", select that option and make sure none of the games from the list are switched on. Note that you can only hide or unhide PS4 and PS5 games in this menu. Now you'll need to earn at least 1 new trophy in any game to see your changes show on this website (PSNProfiles), it can be any trophy on any console. After you've earned a new trophy, then update your profile here on this website by entering your name on the homepage and everything should be fixed! ON PS4 On the PlayStation 4, you can unhide a blank profile or individually manage all of your PS4, PS3, & PSVita games: Go to Settings. Select the Account Management option from the settings menu. Now select Privacy Settings. It will ask you to type in your PSN username and password so you can access your privacy settings. Once you've entered your username and password, it will send you to the "Privacy Settings" page - Select Gaming | Media. Now select Gaming History. It take you to a screen which says "Choose who can see your games and trophies", make sure that you select Anyone from the drop-down menu. Press Confirm. Now back on the Games Privacy Settings menu, choose Hidden Games. In the Hidden Games menu, you can individually manage your games library for PS3, Vita, and PS4 games here. Selecting "PS4" will show all of your PS4 games and selecting "PS3 & Vita" will show all of your PS3 & Vita games intermixed within your PS4 trophy lists as you scroll through it. PS5 games cannot be hidden/unhidden from the PS4. Make sure all of your games do not have checks by them, if a game has a check by it, that means that game is hidden. Press Confirm when you're done. You'll be sent back to the Hidden Games main area. Now that you've unhidden any games you can exit out of the settings menu. Now you'll need to earn at least 1 new trophy in any game to see your changes show on this website (PSNProfiles), it can be any trophy on any console. After you've earned a new trophy, then update your profile here on this website by entering your name on the homepage and everything should be fixed! ON PS3 If all of your games are hidden on this website, go to the PSN section of the PS3's main menu, then go to Account Management, then select Privacy settings. It will ask you to verify by typing in your PSN password. Then where it says "Show Trophies", you need to select 'Anyone' from the drop-down menu. Now go to step 8 below. If only specific games are hidden and you want to unhide individual PS4, PS3, and Vita games, follow these steps: Go to your trophy collection. Note: Make sure your trophy collection is in "online mode" (Press triangle over the trophy collection icon and then select online mode). Select your trophy collection and your list of games should populate the screen. Find a game that doesn't show up on your list on PSNProfiles. Do not press X to select the game though, instead press triangle. A few options should show up, press privacy settings. At the top it should say "Show Trophies for This Game" - make sure the box has a check-mark! (If the box is left without a check-mark, the game will stay hidden). When the box has a check-mark, press OK. Then do the same for all of your other games that don't show up on this website. Now you'll need to earn at least 1 new trophy in any game to see your changes show on this website (PSNProfiles), it can be any trophy on any console. After you've earned a new trophy, then update your profile here on this website by entering your name on the homepage and everything should be fixed! ON PSVITA If all of your games are hidden on this website, go to the Settings app, then select PlayStation Network, then scroll down and select privacy settings and it will ask you to verify with your PSN password. Once you type your password in, scroll down to "Show Trophies" and make sure 'Anyone' is selected. Now look at step 9 below. If only specific games are hidden and you want to unhide individual PS4, PS3, and Vita games, follow these steps: Go to your trophy app so that you are able to see your trophy collection. At the top-left of your screen, there are two buttons, "PS Vita System" & "PlayStation Network" - You can only edit privacy under "PlayStation Network", so select "PlayStation Network". A list of all your games show up if you're connected to the internet. Scroll down the list and find one of your games that do not appear on this website and select that game. When you've selected the game you want, its list of trophies show up. If the game has DLC trophies, you will then need to select the main game's trophy list. Now press the button at the bottom right, the (•••) button. A few options show up, you want to select "Privacy Settings". There will be a pop-up, you'll want to make sure the box has a check-mark to "Show Trophies for This Game", this will un-hide your trophies for that game. Go to every other game that does not show up on this website and un-hide those as well. Now you'll need to earn at least 1 new trophy in any game to see your changes show on this website (PSNProfiles), it can be any trophy on any console. After you've earned a new trophy, then update your profile here on this website by entering your name on the homepage and everything should be fixed! ON PS APP The PlayStation app on iOS or Android can be used to unhide a blank profile or individually manage all of your PS4 & PS5 games: Open the app and select your account name/image at the top-left. Select Privacy. The app will ask you to enter your PSN account password. Select Gaming | Media. Make sure Gaming History is set to Anyone, if not then change it to 'Anyone' by using the Edit button. If you need to unhide any individual PS4 or PS5 games, hit the 'Edit' button next to 'Hidden Games' and un-check any hidden games and hit Save. If no individual games are hidden, this step can be skipped. Now you'll need to earn at least 1 new trophy in any game to see your changes show on this website (PSNProfiles), it can be any trophy on any console. After you've earned a new trophy, then update your profile here on this website by entering your name on the homepage and everything should be fixed! ON PS5/PS4 VIA PS3 GAME STREAMING (REQUIRES PS PLUS PREMIUM) If you're a PS5 or PS4 owner who no longer owns a PS3 or Vita, there is an alternate workaround that lets you manage your PS3 & Vita privacy settings, however it requires you to be subscribed to the highest tier of PlayStation Plus (which is called 'PlayStation Plus Premium') so that you can launch a PS3 game via cloud streaming to access your trophy privacy settings through the streamed game's PS3 console menu. Note: Some regions don't have PS Plus Premium and have 'PS Plus Deluxe' instead, which does not support cloud streaming, so this method doesn't work in those regions! If only specific games are hidden and you want to unhide individual PS4, PS3, and Vita games, follow these steps: You must be subscribed to the highest tier of PlayStation Plus (which is called 'PlayStation Plus Premium'). Launch any PS3 game via cloud streaming. After the game launches, double-press the PS-button on your controller to bring up the PlayStation 3's in-game XMB/console menu. Press the left or right arrow on your controller to navigate to the 'PlayStation Network' section of the PS3's menu. This will show your trophy collection. - - - Still Not Working? There are some cases where doing the steps above won't work no matter what you do. Truth be told, due to game hiding being around for a long time over many PlayStation consoles, it has become pretty buggy over the years and may require some tinkering to convince PSN that your is game unhidden. Here's some things you can try if you're still unable to unhide a game: While rare, you may want to check your other consoles to see if the game is marked as hidden on those consoles. For example, your PS4 may show a game as unhidden, but if you check your PS3 or Vita, those may actually still have the game marked as hidden. You'll need to make sure the game is marked as unhidden on all consoles, then earn a new trophy in any game on any console, and then update your profile here on this website which should fix it. In some very rare cases, while your games may show as unhidden on all of your consoles, they may show as hidden on PS3 even if you've never owned that console! This is because the PS3 is on a different network platform than newer consoles when it comes to communicating your privacy settings and can at times become out of sync with all the other consoles, which convinces your PSN account that the game is still hidden, even though it shouldn't be. You can try the "Via PS3 Game Streaming" method mentioned in the section above to see the game is still listed as hidden on that system/platform. Even if your hidden game isn't a PS3 game, it could still be listed as hidden on the PS3's platform. You can launch any PS3 game via streaming to access that console's menu, then you can delete that PS3 games 0% trophy list from your PS4 or PS5 once you're done. If that doesn't work, then you will want to hide all games on your profile (Simply by selecting the option to where "no one" can see your trophies). After doing that, earn a new trophy on PSN, sync it, then update your profile here so it says "Aww, no trophies here". Once that happens, go back to your PlayStation and change it to where "Anyone" can see your trophies. Now earn another new trophy in any game, sync it, then update your profile here on the site again which should fix the issue. - - - Removing 0% Trophy Lists PS4 and PS5 allows users to delete any trophy lists that are at 0% completion, if you choose to do this for your games with 0% lists, the results will not show up on PSNProfiles until you earn a new trophy in any game on any console and then sync that trophy to PSN. After syncing your trophies to PSN, update your profile here on this website. After doing that, the changes should show up here. This can't be done on PS3 or Vita. - - - This is the end of the guide, community questions and discussion for hidden trophies begins below this point Edited August 28 by BlindMango Fixed parts of the post to work with dark mode

BlindMango
Am i able to adjust this so certain games appear and some don't (0% games) You can purposely hide games if you want to, if you do hide games then your profile will have an "H" on it, and your level will lower here on PSN Profiles in response to the amount of trophies you've hidden. However, I don't think all of that happens if you only hide your 0% games. Edited January 18, 2014 by BlindMango

aerosol_grey
It should be noted that I had a problem where games were missing from the bottom of my list (sorted in date order) that was caused by a sync error and not due to accidentally hiding trophies. This was fixed by earning a new trophy, uploading it to psn and then syncing my profile.

F22-Razgriz
That should do the job! Thanks BlindMango! No wonder my trophies aren't showing up via PSNP. Probably when I played with the 'Privacy Setting' last night before I went to bed. Done it over the PS4. (S2pid me, still in awe on how comfortable the DS4 over DS3) I can only do so and get it fixed after work! But hats off to you,Sir, for a very detailed one you got there! KUDOS! Cheers! #goodvibes

Is there any other way to un-hide the trophies for this game? Thanks You don't need to earn trophy in that game - you need to earn any trophy in any game. You need to increase trophy count, so PSNP will see that something on your account have changed and won't skip it when resyncing.

Shadowrider50
I'm wondering - is it even possible at all to directly discriminate whether someone has hidden trophies if they have only hidden 0% trophy lists?

Shadowrider50
Yeah, I know, but I meant whether such would be theoretically possible at all (without knowing the user's history or being the user)?
Stevieboy
Yeah, I know, but I meant whether such would be theoretically possible at all (without knowing the user's history or being the user)? My guess is because they wouldn't have actually hidden any trophies, just games with 0%, and it therefore wouldn't affect their leaderboard placing meant it wasn't implemented. I don't know if theoretically it could, but it would then say "this user has hidden 0 trophies" which seems pointless. vivan000
I'm wondering - is it even possible at all to directly discriminate whether someone has hidden trophies if they have only hidden 0% trophy lists? No, only if you've seen their list without hidden games (e.g. they hid them later).

Sometimes there are rare cases when if you update while PSN is down or under maintenance that it screws with your trophy privacy and gets fixed after updating the next time

Then sync your trophies on PSN and then come back to this website and update your profile. Edited May 10, 2014 by BlindMango

Can somebody help me If the PS4 privacy settings and the PlayStation website show all of your trophies correctly, then you need to earn another trophy and sync again. Sometimes when PSN goes through maintenance or similar scenarios and people update their profiles on this website during that time, their trophies randomly hide. A few other people have had that problem today too it seems, so just earn another trophy on any console on any game and then sync the trophy to PSN, then update your profile here.

o_BAD_RELIGION_o
My profile says that I have over 2,600 trophies hidden and I don't know why or how, I checked my PS3 and nothing should be hidden, any idea what I can do? Just had this happen to me as well, had 2800+ hidden. I don't know why or how, but everything after April 2012 was cut off. I am guessing maybe it was a loading issue and they didnt load fast enough to recognize?... no idea. Anyway, I did what was described (went into PS3 trophies, went to a random game, toggled privacy to on, then back to off) then synced my trophies... nothing happened. Waited a day to see if maybe itd fix itself, no dice. Today I jumped on and got an easy trophy. Let it sync tyhen sit for a couple minutes, then let PSNProfiles update and again, sit for a minute or so. Went to my profile and all was back to normal.
