My Challenge Going Forward, Trophy Hunting Waffling And Thoughts The next step in my challenge is obviously Festival Of Blood, but not Infamous 2 after that. Nope, I'll be doing Frostpunk after Festival Of Blood. Why? Well it's January, winter for a start. More importantly I publicly said I'd do it, and I'm going to do it. I can't stand it when people go on and on about doing a game that by consensus of opinion in the trophy hunting community is considered hard, and months later are still not playing it. I get so sick of the airing of conceptual, fantasy trophy hunting I become all Shia LaBeouf in response..... JUST DO IT! I said I'd do Wolfenstein 2, and I did it. I don't bullshit, I don't sit around dreaming of doing games, I will them with dedication and commitment into reality. I 'am though in a fortunate position where I don't have thousands of unearned trophies and hundreds of unresolved games on my profile. So I 'am in a better position to make these commitments, make an awesome profile, something permeant and of substance. That's not to punch down on those who face such a challenge with their profile. Not everyone started a PSN account as a trophy hunter. I feel it's important if you are in such a position to get laser focused on that backlog, rather than just avoiding it by piling games that are more distraction than overall something you consider an actual accomplishment. So, do I feel like I can successfully do Frostpunk? Absolutely not! And I won't insult your intelligence dear reader by typing oh yeah I was 100% confident I could pull off Mein Leben. But what's a challenge in any hobby/activity if we don't have something to overcome? I can't stand people in the trophy hunting niche that invent excuses for avoiding games. I've heard some crackers in my time. Like this games is not an actual game in the series. Sure, some of them might have a couple of games the community objectively considers difficult. Maybe they probably don't want to grind some games, but I think the actual reality is they just don't want to play games they don't feel they have 100% confidence they can do. Where's the fun in that? How very sad. In my opinion they are just dishonest posers. People who want all the glory without the hardship and sacrifice, the admiration from the community without ever really personally challenging themselves. You could probably spot them a mile off if say this was a gym activity, not so much in trophy hunting. Also, if they are dishonest about gaming, then what else are they dishonest about in life? This is why I stick with the people I know have got stuff done, and are getting, still getting stuff done in trophy hunting. And why I'm also open to helping them now I've got my Mein Leben in them popping theirs. Not because I'm looking to increase my social standing with folk (laughable if I was because of my autism), and not only because it's good to help. It's the shared experience with someone through the trials and tribulations of trophies like Mein Leben. You can through such experiences relate to a person who's from another country, culture beyond mere words. And that is truly one of the more beautiful aspects of trophy hunting. Trophy hunting, games are messy. Just like life in general and the people we meet can bring many messy experiences. But for how messy all these experiences can be, you know at least they were real. You learn it's important to never let yourself be sedate, to lose your wits about you, and succumb to fantasy. To embrace reality and overcome the true challenges it brings. Popular Post GraniteSnake
Completed Dead Space 2 today! Fantastic game, does a great job of building tension and keeping you on the edge of your seat (the beginning of the Ishimura chapter for example). I found the story a bit eh but the gameplay more than makes up for it. I had two deaths in total during my hardcore run, one in chapter 13 in the room with the spinning lasers - I had died here twice previously on my Zealot run so I made a save right before this room - and one right at the very end of the game after defeating the final boss during the very short flying section ? I wasn't even aware you could die during this so it came as a bit of a surprise for me, luckily it didn't throw me off too much and I beat it on my next go. I plan on doing Dead Space 3 soon but I won't hop into it straight away. I might start Pyre or else try and knock off another one of my incomplete games.. I finally made some progress today and took out Bjorn though. Next up is Atlas and then I'll get to the really hard ones tomorrow. I made and melded a bunch of accessories in preparation, and leveled up Terry some more, so I should be good to go. Still need to do some more mini medal farming as well so I'm hoping to finally, finally be done with this game by Thursday at the latest. I also started Valkyrie Elysium and really like it so far, but I want to actually finish a game so DQH is getting all of my attention until it's done. Happy New Year! Popular Post Psy-Tychist
So, a small update on my progress: Anodyne - 0% Brothers (PS3) - 4% Children of Morta - 8% First Class Trouble - 0% Garou: Mark of Wolves - 4% --> 8% Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - 0% inFamous: First Light - 35% Monster Energy Supercross - 14% --> 17% Nex Machina - 7% --> 56% Remothered: Tormented Fathers - 0% I've completed another Arcade run in Garou: Mark of Wolves and found that the online is completely dead. Someone has shown me a trick for self boosting that may help. Did a couple of misc trophies in Monster Energy Supercross before I get into the difficult and time consuming ones. The main game I've been concentrating on is Nex Machina. I enjoy this game a lot, even with the grief it gives back. My description of it would be Dead Nation on neon steroids. I've gotten close to the 1CC trophy and the speedrun of a certain level (only 3 seconds away) but more dedication is needed to win at those.

And it didn't take that long. I also started Goat Simulator 3 which is, to quote a character from that stupid Borderlands game, "a hoot and a half". I noticed that the lock on doesn't work properly for my ranged attackers when targeting enemies above or below me. There's not reason it shouldn't work, enemies can hit me when I'm above or below them, so they just needed to add proper tracking to my attacks. Also, there are times when I can simply not lock on to any enemy despite standing right in front of them. I'm considering lowering the difficulty to get it over with faster. Story is still good, voice acting as well, and so is the music, but can't say many good things about the game other than that. Gameplay isn't among its strong points, sadly. Popular Post neospoon
Update #2.5 - Final Fantasy VII Remake 17% > 34% - Hitman - 31% We Happy Few - 14% - Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist - 41% - Stray - 100% (278) - MediEvil - 100% (280) A somewhat unplanned short update… SWAP 2/3 - Hitman - 31% I’ve decided to use my 2nd swap. There’s been some stuff going on with Hitman in the PlayStation store. All DLC is delisted and it looks like now you can only buy the GOTY or the GOTY upgrade (which I believe is missing 2 specific dlc packs) I had to check if I owned all DLC and luckily I do. Now IOInteractive have stated that the game should remain fully playable but since the game itself is an always online offline game I want to get it out of the way ASAP. I don’t really feel like playing it, but it just has to be done. The game that I’m swapping it with will be We Happy Few. Final Fantasy VII Remake - 34% In my last update I decided to replace OlliOlli2 with FFVIIR and man I’m glad I did! First of all this game looks absolutely fantastic! It brings back so many memories from when I first played the original way back. I enjoy the extra stuff they added so far and I’m happy to hear that most of the original music is still there too. My only real complaint is the battle/materia system. I wish it would’ve been more like the original, but I guess nobody is really wanting a true turn based Final Fantasy anymore (except me). I made it up to chapter 9 so far and I’m taking my time with it! That’s it for now. keep ‘em coming and have fun!

For example: You have Assassin`s Creed 2 (PS4) on your profile sitting on 95% (you can play games that are not on your list and participate in the event despite it) and the only trophies that you not have are for the subject 16 riddles and for the feathers. Look up a youtube video guide for this two things and you should get this platinum in 1-3 hours. Another example is Minecraft Story Mode. As a Telltale game this one should play itself for most of the trophies and for the rest follow the psnp trophy guide. Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, Concrete Genie, Assassin`s Creed: Liberation the Spyro and the LEGO games on your profile are further options for easier platinums. I , by no means, am a completionist or top trophy hunter and haven`t even cleared all of my own easy and short games, but I hope this will help you a bit by completing your goals. And a tip: Order your games like this: - Dark Cloud - Dark Souls Remastered - and so on or at least make the titles of your games bold. Your posts are much easier to read this way.
