I completely forgot I signed up to this 😅 Sorry @Copanele Right, so I'm going to make a very late tier 1 list and retroactively add the only UR game I have completed this year so far, as long as that's allowed? Here it is: Imgur nuked the quality of this pic but you get the idea. I platinum'd and 100%'d MW3 this year which has an UR plat. Pain is an ongoing thing and I'm periodically working on Stardew (and have been for the last 7 years😅) . I'll tackle Crash Commando after Pain and Titan Souls after Stardew. Popular Post Cruscah
Tier 3 completed: Absolver (0.65%) 100% EA Sports FC 24 (1.27%) 100% Hawken (0.78%) 100% Killzone: Mercenary (3.96%) 100% Star Wars Battlefront II (3.98% / 3.66%) 100% Absolver is Sifu's predecessor, an open world fighting game with some cool moves and a nice aesthetic, the combat also reminds me of For Honor. The game is cool and all, but the trophy list is a nightmare if you don't have a second console or someone to do the trophies with. Nothing is necessarily hard and The Grandmaster is the biggest grind, a lot of boosting and school hopping until you get everything done. Although I'm not a huge soccer fan, I think that it's my favorite sport, and since EA changed the name of the FIFA franchise to EA Sports FC, I figured that it would be the perfect time to start going for a series that would fill my annual sports game urge. It was my first time playing a FIFA, so learning how to play was tough (at least at the end I could see that I had improved a lot). Trophy-wise, there's barely anything to do offline, Clubs is easy if you boost with 3 others, you can save some time in Volta if you're willing to spend a few bucks and UT is a grind (but also where you'll have the most fun). The XP system in UT is plain stupid, what kind of game doesn't reward you for just playing? Starting a few days late on a season? That's unfortunate, you gotta wait for the next one if you want a chance to complete the battle pass. At this point I think that Hawken is well known between UR hunters, a decent F2P mech FPS that can be done very quickly. I'm so glad to be done with Killzone: Mercenary, not because it's bad (it's 10x better than Black Ops Declassified), but because I've been stalling to play other stuff on the Vita because of this game. The MP was actually really good, much better than what you'd expect, and the campaign is alright. The most problematic trophy for me was Dedicated To The Cause, I don't mind playing a game on the hardest difficult, but for the love of god don't force me to play stealth (.org has an amazing guide for this, thankfully). There's also a 10 hour grind for kills after you have everything else done, just the mindless grind that we all are used to. I had a great time playing Star Wars Battlefront II, the gameplay and the graphics are phenomenal. The campaign is very short and easy, not much to say about it since I couldn't be arsed about Star Wars. The MP is where you'll spend most of your time, I definitely would recommend boosting some of the most troublesome trophies, reaching level 50 takes a while but there's triple XP every wednesday to help. --- What's next? My Friend Pedro, Sniper Ghost Warrior 1 & 2, Evil Dead and maybe GTA:V.

So I’ve actually been interested in Path of Exile for a few years now, but every time I’d look this game up I’d get scared away by the sheer complexity of it all and how overwhelmed I’d feel when I’d start looking into the game and it’s trophies. But after seeing it in the Most Wanted list this year it began to pique my interest once again. I began researching the game back in March and discovered that a new league launch was just a few weeks away, and realized I’d probably never have a better opportunity to just dive in head first. So that’s exactly what I did. Prior to this, the extent of my experience with ARPGs was pretty much just the 70 hours I spent with Diablo 3, and in comparison Path of Exile is easily the largest and most complicated ARPG on the market. It’s a hardcore game, designed by diehard ARPG fans, and has some really interesting and unique mechanics that set it apart from all the games that inspired it. Unlike titles such as Diablo, PoE is an entirely F2P game, which means that over the past 10+ years of regular content updates it has ballooned into a massive, behemoth of an ARPG and boasts the richest endgame gameplay loop of it’s kind. Unfortunately, this layered complexity also makes it very difficult for new players to jump in and learn the game from scratch. PoE is by far the most intimidating and complex game I’ve ever tried to get into, and I spent weeks reading about it and watching videos before I even felt like I was ready to pick it up and play. Thankfully, this difficult start is offset by a wonderful community of guide writers and content creators that work very hard to make the tidal wave of information digestible for newcomers and veterans alike. The hardest part for me was just getting started. The trophies themselves are actually quite reasonable and became more of an afterthought after awhile. You’ve got a handful of trophies for simply playing through the 10 Acts of the campaign (which is basically just a 20 hour tutorial), and then the bulk of the rest will mostly come naturally as you focus on your main task of working your way through the endgame mapping system (“The Atlas”) and it’s quests, and collecting the fragments you will need to access some of the hardest bosses later on. After reading/watching PoE material for weeks and deciding on a build, I was initially way too excited to wait for the league start, so I decided to prematurely create a Necromancer solely to work on the trophy for summoning 60+ minions at once. I created a SRS Popcorn build and played this for a couple weeks while familiarizing myself with the mechanics of the game and getting several miscellaneous trophies out of the way. When the new Necropolis League launched on March 29th, I started fresh with my “real” character on a Duellist, and began the work of creating a Toxic Rain Champ for the end game. I picked this build specifically because it was the most noob friendly league-starter I found on the internet, and had been written specifically to eliminate the need to learn & use all the 3rd Party computer programs like PathOfBuilding that most PoE build guides typically rely on. The Toxic Rain Champion ended up being a great choice for me. It’s not super strong, and the single-target damage is poor which meant I needed some help with the Uber bosses at the end of my run, but it’s a good all-rounder AOE build that is cheap to gear, handles mapping well, and is more tanky than most classes. This last point ended up being more important than I realized, as the Necropolis League was a bit unusual in the sense the league mechanic was mandatory this time around and couldn’t be opted out of, and this mechanic added a whole new set of haunted mobs and modifiers to your maps increasing the difficulty by quite a lot. In total the platinum took me 300 hours, and I loved every minute of it. The 6 weeks or so I spent playing PoE was some of the most enjoyable gaming I’ve done in YEARS, and I got so completely immersed in the game that, for the first time since I started trophy hunting 6 years ago, I stopped thinking or caring about trophies entirely. All I wanted to do was play PoE. I got really embedded in the community during my time and met a lot of nice people. I even joined a guild! While I’m thrilled to have the platinum now, I can say with complete honesty that part of me is really sad the journey is over and wishes there was more to do so I have an excuse to keep playing. I’ve been so focused on trophy hunting over these past years that I rarely have time to return to “completed” games for fun after I’ve finished them and moved on, but I can absolutely see myself returning to PoE in the near future to try a new character or try out a new league. Path of Exile 2 is also on the horizon so I will absolutely be checking that out and hopefully adding that platinum to my collection one day too. Thanks for including this one in the bounties this year! I’m so glad I gave it a shot. 🙂

I saw KCD on a sale and thought, why not? Oh boy, was I in for a grind. Finished one full playthrough while doing most of the missable and DLC trophies in 145 hours. I still have to finish a second playthrough on Hardcore without killing anyone, but since this game is so long and I just finished it, an obligatory grace period from the game must occur. It's a good game, don't get me wrong, but the devs clearly had more imagination than experience and resources to make everything work. Hopefully, KCD2 is going to be a better experience (after day 1-365 patches obviously). As for Bulletstorm, finished all Supershots and Echoes, as well as most of the trophies. It just needs a quick speedrun on the hardest difficulty and it will be done. I plan to finish at least 3 games from the list before my vacation stars, during which I am committed to sit down and finish Time Crisis for good.
Popular Post Coffeelicious
I completed my first game for tier 1 a couple of days ago, Dreams. It's a cute little game, a bit grindy towards the end when trying to reach level 30. A few trophies require you to actually create stuff which I guess can be super annoying if you're not into that. Other than that it just takes time and since there's so much to explore, play and create, it's really up to you and can be the most fun or the most tedious experience. I felt like I never got so many URs for so little effort As for now, I've made a preliminary list of what I might go for the rest of tier 1. But will be on vacation soon, so there'll probably be no update from me for a month or so
Popular Post dertswa687o
I finally finished the final stack of Star Ocean 4 for my 200th platinum! This stack took me 213 hours which is an absolute speedrun. I've talked about the game enough before so I don't feel like putting together a big explanation of what all it takes to get this platinum, but suffice it to say I'm very happy to have it done. Tier 2 Star Ocean: The Last Hope Hi-Fi Rush I'm going to claim Hi-Fi Rush now since I think it'll fall out of UR eventually. I might not even get to it this year, though.

When FF7 Rebirth came out I thought it would be UR for months and now it's almost at 10%, so I figured I'd take the precaution here haha. Since the site doesn't refresh every profile anymore, it's so much harder for games to stay UR.

Walt the Dog
I'd like to claim Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs: The Thrilling Steamy Maze Kiwami (currently at 1.85%) as part of my Tier 3. Not sure how long it'll stay UR given how few people own it and I won't even be starting it for a while due to slacking on Sorcery Saga, so may as well claim it now before a couple other people randomly complete it. Popular Post kraven_15
2nd game completed: Limbo I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I have no idea what it was about outside of starting with L, having no platinum and being ultra rare. I highly recommend it. The only difficult trophy is completing the game in one sitting and dying less than 5 times. You need pretty good timing to overcome some of the puzzles but once you do it a couple of times, everything becomes second nature and it shouldn't be too much trouble. Popular Post Thedah
Second game of Tier 3 completed! Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus for the PS3. Hardest part of this is that there's a survival mode where you gotta get to level 999 and each run can take up to 2 hours of real time to get to the later levels which can be annoying if you die at the later levels. Luckily there's an OP character called Justice that can stun the gold opponents extremely easy with her combos and has really good mobility so you can run away from the opponents real easy. Took me four tries where I died at level 720, 800, and 930 before finally winning. I also took a look at the achievements for the XBOX version for this game and I'm glad the PS3 version does not have the achievement for beating Survival on Classic mode called "Die Hard". That would've made this a 10/10 trophy list for sure. Classic Survival Mode does not allow you to obtain any power ups. With power ups, it makes the Survival Mode a 7/10. Onto the Vita version next!
