DrBloodmoney
31 minutes ago, BrickwallBill said: Cities Skylines and Stellaris are both pretty close to being able to do a full card on their own. Hats off to anyone who actually does that, because that amount of restarting games to try and get certain events or factions to spawn is way too tedious for me personally. Neither would fill EVERY box of a card, but they'd both get pretty close. There's a few off the top of my head that are like skeleton keys for this even - Dead Cells, Far Cry 6, Sound Shapes, Rocket League, Dead by Daylight etc. - they can all fill a good half of a card in one fell swoop. I think the only ones I've seen that come close to filling an entire card - or at least, only leave a couple of slots empty - would be one of the Train Sim World games, DJ MAX RESPECT, and Elder Scrolls Online, I think - they all have ludicrous numbers of DLC, with a lot of colourful splash images... ...but I bet they'd probably take as long to S-Rank as like 20 other games combined!
Popular Post Yen-Pop
Good Golly I finally have an update, and it's knocking off three whole spaces! We got Orange with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Blue with Maneater, and Light Green with Maneater's DLC Truth Quest. Lego's Lego, you play one you've pretty much played them all, but as someone whose seen the movies countless hundreds of times it actually did make me want to sit down and watch them again shockingly enough. Genuinely a joy to play through, even if some of the quests got super same-y towards the end. Only so many times you can fight other ships while carrying cargo before you're a little bored of it. Maneater was a real treat - I'd avoided it because I thought you were hunting the shark not that you were the fucking shark. Sharks are hands-down my favorite animal, and the gameplay was so unserious and enjoyable my boyfriend and I just kept passing the controller back and forth like we were kids again, playing games at a sleepover. Undoubtedly that was part of the fun for me, but I definitely recommend it! And the DLC is/was on sale for like $4 so hard to be mad at that. Spoiler White: Yellow: Tan: Orange: LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Red: Cult of the Lamb: Sins of the Flesh DLC Pink: Maroon: Purple: Deep Purple: SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake Blue: Maneater Light Blue: Roki Green: We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie Light Green: Maneater: Truth Quest DLC Brown: The Wild at Heart Grey: Black
Popular Post D4T-V4UL7_HUN7R_
February update: We have Metal Hellsinger for MAROON and the Powerwash Simulator Warhammer DLC for BLUE Really enjoyed Hellsinger. Ive never played a rhythm game before so it was a unique experience for me. Loved that it had music from some familiar bands. The Warhammer dlc for Powerwash Simulator was just more of the same, which isn't a bad thing. That thunderhawk took foreverrr to clean though.

Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
Okay, a couple of updates for me: Adding Kingdom of Paradise (Key to Heaven) for Red and Resistance Retribution for Gray. ...And yes, I think this is likely the dominant colors for both. Lol. Kingdom of Paradise (Key to Heaven) has to be the best PSP classic I have played so far. It's so good. The game plays like a beat em up RPG, but you choose scrolls to decide what combos you want to use against your opponents. It's really fun to play around with different scrolls and each type of enemy has a different weakness which allows you to switch between scrolls as you play to change your style on the fly and adjust to the situation. It's also incredibly cool that your stats adjust depending on what you do so if you use swords, your attack increases when you level up. If you are getting your ass beat down by enemies, you get more HP and so on and so forth. This game is definitely a gem of a game and hope others give it a try. The story is cool, graphics are pretty good and have kind of that PS2 anime style graphics, and the gameplay is really fun and creative. Definitely give it a go if you are even remotely interested and have PS+ Premium! Resistance Retribution on the other hand... It's just ok. The weapons are cool like any resistance game, but the gameplay is just your typical 3rd person shooter. The aiming isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, but it does get a bit repetitive pretty quickly, similar to the Siphon Filter PSP games. Not something to play all at once, but is good in bits and pieces. The most fun missions in the game are where you are in a vehicle called a hammer and get to shoot lasers and missiles at the chimera. I just wish there was a bit more flavor in the other 80% of the game. It's worth playing if you have PS+ Premium, but as a PSP game, it doesn't hold a candle to Kingdom of Paradise (Key to Heaven). Go play that instead!
Popular Post cstanci
Update #6! I guess one good thing with being laid up with the flu is that I have all KINDS of time for games. I am working my way through Tales of Zestiria but am finding myself having to take breaks and play other games because...Zestiria just isn't grabbing me like other "Tales of..." games. So I looked through my games that I hadn't finished yet and finished off two ABSOLUTE turds. Jurassic Pinball - GREEN - The last two trophies took me WAYYY too long to get and made me remember why I rage-quit this stupid game. I didn't even want to play this game for this event, it was actually for the Platinum Every Genre challenge but it is for sure going on here too since I had to trudge through that quagmire of a game. WWE Battlegrounds - GREY - It was a WWE game dumbed down/simplified. Super easy controls but to get through some of the last events - I had to cheese cheap moves like crazy. Let's just say....I'm glad it's over. Hoping to finish up Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy soon - finishing up that costume trophy. Popular Post Caju_94
My February update is here! So, I ended 100%/platinum some games I had on my backlog: Aegis of Earth: Protovonus Assault -> Even though I was playing on my PS4, I ended up buying the Vita version so I could finish on the train while going/coming to/from work. Even though the concept of the same is simple and is very repetitive, I never found the platinum grind to be boring, I honestly consider this a hidden gem and very fun! Glad I got the plat. Uncharted Drake's Fortune: Remastered -> One of those "I could have platinum way earlier" games. Planning to play and start the sequels eventually. TMNT Shredder's Revenge -> I platinumed this game together with my girlfriend and we had lots of fun. Quite nostalgic since it is a tribute to retro games. It really entertained my cousins during Christmas, where they helped me grind the character levels on Story Mode as well Goat Simulator DLC: GoatMMO: Fun. Random. I mean, it's Goat Simulator. What else? Horizon Chase Turbo DLC: Senna Forever -> Quite fun. Loved to get the platinum for this game some years ago. Another retro tribute game Right now, I put a pause on grindings and am starting new games, since new games I want to play are coming to PS Plus, and it is not the first time that they before I end up starting them. Still for a 2 month-progress, I am really happy with this.
Popular Post WDB_Chaotic
So my first update, gotten off to a good start to the year. i recently moved so progress slowed a bit. I will summarise all the games in a sentance LEGO 2k Drive (PS5). Every year i do a driving game and every time i wonder why, they are always such a ridiculous grind. be that as it may its actually a pretty fun game. Uno (PS5): Such a fun game, the rules and different card packs have endless playability with friends, highly recommend Foamstars (PS5): with exception of the AI Art, this game gets undeserved hate. Its fun for a period of time and i enjoyed my time with the game. Garfield Lasagna Party (PS4) Fun mini game style, wish it had more depth like a tournament mode but its fun Sumatra: Fate of Yandi (PS4) Played this last year and just played it again because i could. does hold the award of first platinum at my new place so theres that. Popular Post Breakingthegreen
For the Leap Day event, I only went and completed two games, let's start with the Grey Resistance Retribution. I've got opinions on the which can be summarised as "Ageing Poorly" which isn't helped in it's transition to gaining a second analogue stick, in fact that only made it worse, the game's aiming is super stiff and it really needs the aim assist that is locked out of this port. I also thought the story wasn't fairing much better, our hero keeps calling one of the characters a "Frog Midget" which regardless of your opinion of whether their offensive terms or not, it still doesn't endear me to Greyson. That aside, Retribution didn't convince me that the world was worth fighting for, the locales are "Warzone filled with Aliens" and "Alien's House," had it not been for the narrator saying that 'There is a world over here and it's blooming sweet' I probably world have recommended giving up. Not gonna lie, I preferred Burning Skies and that game was bad. ___________ Well that was disappointing, I've heard a lot of good things about that game too... now let's go for the eighth game which has a negative reception that I really like, it's maroon and it's Inescapable: No Rules No Rescue (PS4). Inescapable is a visual novel that boasts that "You'll decide the outcome", and you know what that means, you'll go along a linear path and then get to the last two or three hours where the game starts to branch, right? Right? Obviously the answer is no otherwise I wouldn't ask. Short plot overview first, you are Harrison, the Brit in this international story, and you've been kidnapped and placed on a lone island with 10 other Europeans (along with Jeffery McRayner Otterson the First, the pet rock.) And you are all being filmed for a TV show on the Dark Web, you've been given no rules other than to make the TV show interesting until you're freed with a 500,000 Euro prize six months later. To make this show interesting you will spend your time chatting with other contestants and occasionally participate in games arranged by your new friends or the production. In Inescapable the first third of the game is spent establishing what kind of visual novel you think you're playing, this means you are being tracked in much more subtle ways, and this is part of the reason that it has a mixed reception (which I'm not part of, I firmly enjoy this game.) Who you talk with, what you say and even the side activities you play will determine the kind of player you are, whether you spent you time playing Wordle, or staring down the maid's chest, it's all tracked and will determine which ending you're heading for. It's very much reminiscent of Silent Hill Shattered Memories' approach to the endings. Is that to say the endings are perfect... no, there's four proper endings and 2 of them feel incomplete, and it's a shame because the one I think is the best/true ending, ends too anticlimactically (at least it's the gayest one .) And one of the to more complete endings causes Harrison to become so unbearable, and it became hard to fathom him being a good guy in any other playthrough. I like the very diverse line up and all their quirks: I love Chica's no nonsense and level headed takes on the island, I enjoyed Gio's fatherly attachment he forms with Daan and Harri, and I enjoy how Lumi's voice actor constantly sound's like she's trying to avoid waking her roommates. There are less forgivable problems, it's not uncommon for the buttons to deactivate for no good reason and you need to restart which frequent autosaves makes slightly less painful. Some game mechanics are so underutilised it's ridiculous; notably the pathfinding puzzle which every playthrough starts with, only to be abanndoned until the true ending. Overall I really like this game and it's corniness, it wears it's symbolism on it's sleeve so much that you just can't hate it. Hell, it opens with the "No man is an Island" poem, you can't hate that! ______________ Now that I've got seven, (well...eight) completed, I cam call myself a Rainbow Appreciator and it's time for: Breakingthegreen's Poorly Defined Rankings of Eight Games That They Played When They Weren't Watching Fox Videos Dredge: I'm still broken after not spotting the Leviathan's fin while I was looking through the telescope. Inescapable: No Rules No Rescue (PS4): I'm obsessed with Sasha for absolutely no good reason. They'd probably hate me. Max: The Curse of Brotherhood: Just a straight up well designed game, with the story being it's only weakness. Tinykin (PS4): A very fun collectathon platformer, but going for the platinum does make the experience less fun. A Juggler's Tale: Such Ludo-Narrative synchronicity (Yes I'm pretentious,) to say what I mean would spoil the plot which you shouldn't get spoiled before you play. Foamstars: *To the tune of Spice Up Your Life by the Spice Girls* People of Bath World, Foam up your life!, Every boy and every girl, Foam up your life! Quite fun. The Plane Effect: I only recently played the game, but I can't remember much of it, I think I said it was okay, but I can only remember the crap platforming. Resistance Retribution: I need to get 'round to Platting Resistance 3, that was a fun game, this one wasn't though.
Popular Post ProfSeajay7
So it's finally the third month of my first card and I immediately pulled two games off my Platinum Rain Day event to fill in half of the remaining spaces. Sacrifices needed to be made, and unfortunately I had to pay. Luckily, one of the games just went on sale and dropped to $2.09. Guess which one. Yep, it was the LEGO Harry Potter collection. I think karma knew I have f**ked up and gave me a bone. So, since it was already Plat #80, I decided to pop Years 1-4, since I didn't want that to hang around like a wet dog for three months when its brother was unfinished, and then for Brown I popped the final trophy on LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. I then went into Donut County, entered the boss fight, and let it kill me to get the final trophy for my Light Green entry. As you see in the right side, I have special long action RPGs primed (which just got added to PS+ Extras) for the last two entry, Green and Yellow. I'm already planning out games for my second card(which will span April to June, although I will probably do the easier games this month if I get this card done early so I have more time for the longer games) so I won't be at a loss when this card is completed. All in all, I only had one shameful platinum, the Black entry. Is anyone else doing multiple cards, just curious.

Popular Post ProfSeajay7
Well, almost finished with this first card... Went with Cat Quest for Yellow, because it was sitting there. Found out that I could get it down in 24 hours, this RPG is really short. Probably will do Cat Quest II for the next card. That just leaves Green and I have a special game for that one, just restarted it. EDIT: Okay, it's Dragon Quest Builders. The final color is Dragon Quest Builders and I'll probably end up spending all month playing this game despite how few trophies it has due to all the challenges. The List: Red: Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily (PS5) Pink: Eventide 2 Light Blue: Ape Escape (PS4) Deep Purple: LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 (Vita) Grey: TOEM Blue: LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (PS4) Tan: Adventures of Mana Purple: Final Fantasy IV White: Chicory: A Colorful Tale (PS4) Black: Starlight Shores (PS4) Orange: Oceanhorn (PS4) Maroon: Wild ARMs (PS4) Brown: LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 (PS4) Light Green: Donut County Yellow: Cat Quest Edited March 3 by ProfSeajay7

Popular Post Doodlebawp
Update time. I'm finally past the halfway point ☺️ My newest additions are Haven for pink, Resistance: Retribution for black and FF7 Remake for green. Haven: Imagine if the world's horniest fanfiction writers got together to make a game where 85% of the budget was spent attempting to understand what being in a relationship is like. Tack on 14% for art and 1% for gameplay. Do that and you'll have a game like Haven. Resistance: Retribution: I had a ton of fun with this one and it made me realize how much I miss old story-driven shooters. Controls are a bit wonky given that this is an old PSP game, but with a few sensitivity adjustments the controls were tolerable. Hoping they bring more Resistance games (old or new) to PS5 soon! FF7 Remake: I absolutely adore this game. Every second trying to plat the core game and 100% the DLC was a blast. Those hard mode boss fights were no joke either. Glad I was able to finish this up before Rebirth dropped.

Yeah, I'm with you, I just got my third entry in the Spring Backlog Event and was about to just do a swap because I screwed up and voided a trophy. I am a big slacker with FFXIV, I know that I need to get my character Endwalker before the release date of Dawntrail, but I am not feeling it. Maybe tomorrow when I get over this head cold.
