Popular Post Alyri
#96 NAtURAL DOCtRINE (PS4) It's actually stylized like that, I did not make that up >_> A fairly easy and quick platinum for me though the learning curve in this obscure tactical RPG was quite steep. The story was quite bland and boring. The character customization and graphics felt like it was from a PS2 game. Any single mistake on your part can mean the enemy units will have 4-5 turns and completely obliterate you. I've also never played an RPG where New Game+ had NOTHING carry over except you get access to a bit more story related content. Luckily, I bought the Vita version of this game as well so the multiplayer boosting process was quite quick and painless. Overall, I don't think I have anything really positive to say other than the beautifully drawn renders they have at the home menu screen. I'm just glad I finally got this over with. Dr_Mayus
Im glad you got the platinum mate, i really wish i also knew the struggle you went if the game, i would gladly join Wdjat, my buddy Dragon and JeieeM to help you see the game differently, i wont say much, because i really can't, since you know why, right? but im glad nonetheless, in other news, Lone survivor platinum is also mine, i know this game you also like it. I know you like the game and I think it was your checklist that called it a Masterpiece (which I stole for my rant ). I know a lot of people love this game, just like a lot of people love Borderlands. Both games were just not for me . That is what is fun about gaming, we all have different opinions on what we like. Glad you got the Lone Survivor plat, that White Ending was kind of creepy This is one of the best opinions I've ever seen. It must've taken a lot of time to put it together. I also hated the blitzball part and never managed to beat the chocobo race with a time of 0:00:00. I was expecting to read something about the butterfly minigame. Also after seeing that laughing cutscene after Luca, the Ratchet & Clank games have never been the same (Tidus and Ratchet have the same VA). And thnx for mentioning me . Looks like you've found the worst plat for te 2015 awards. Btw if you took the expert sphere grid you wouldn't have to get rid of the lock spheres. Thanks Dragon . Honestly the Chocobo Race (once I figured out how to do it) was actually pretty easy. You just tap left or right and don't bother about steering. Once I discovered that I beat it in 4 rounds. I didn't mention the Butterfly mini-game because I didn't bother with it . You didn't need the prize from it for the trophy and I figured "if Square doesn't care enough about Kimhari to give his ultimate weapon a trophy, then why should I :D"

We're here to have fun and learn from experience, there's no shame to love or dislike something, in the end Final Fantasy X got the crown for best opinion I ever read about, even if it hurts my feelings, Lone survivor is indeed creepy, especially based in the art style and gameplay, since its retro. In the end is scarier, creepier and way more entertaining than most big budget games today. Edited February 4, 2015 by Mah2c
Popular Post Rayrooz
Done Done Done #33 - Jak II Enjoyment: 4.5/10 Difficulty: 3/10And it finally is, Done done done. I started this game over a year ago after finishing the first in the trilogy. After dying on the same bit a few times in a row I put the game down to pick back up the next day. Apparently that day was a year later. This was maybe not the best choice after dragging myself through PSAS. Another game that was far too repetitive for my liking. Such a shame. When on missions I thoroughly enjoyed myself, it was reminiscent of the first game and felt almost nostalgic. I didn't mind the checkpoints being far apart for the most part. Yes, some parts were a little tricky thanks to the fact Jak didn't always double jump when I wanted him to and the camera angles were a little unforgiving. That's ok though, it's just something that these games did.Part of the charm. What I found hugely frustrating was the part inbetween missions. Driving in those crappy little hover cars around the crappy little streets trying not to hit the crappy little people. Dull. So dull. Just as you get into the game and feel like you are having a good time you are sent back out into the grey streets to travel/kill/transport something. Horrendous. Lowest point? Hellcats. That mission... wow.Oh and I did use the orb glitch. I didn't even play the game on PS2 either. But I don't care, if you want to judge me, fine. This game won't last long in my memory.
Popular Post Gregorymany
#92 Assassin's Creed III Master Assassin This game continues the assassin´s creed saga with a rather different approach to the series. It introduces elements that are nice, like the change of weather and the time of the day, hunting, naval missions (these are amazing), more options on freeruning, and the movement is more fluid in it, assassin´s specific abilities, a good upgrade on the visuals, a new mode online, and one particular thing that i found amazing is the reaction of the enemies when hitting them, it´s pretty convincing depending on wich weapon you are using. However this game disappointed so many times with things that were good, but they messed up. For example: hard to find somewhere to hide, synchronizing all viewpoints do not unlock all the map, some missions glitch and don´t show on the map, sometimes you can´t complete a mission and have to quit several times to work, almost zero development of the main character (no health upgrades, armor upgrades, etc...), and so on... Overall this game is still good but it could be so much more if ubisoft do not had rushed to launch it, it fells unfinished.
Popular Post x410xDragon
Dead Space: Extraction Really enjoyed this game, as it still has the same Dead Space 1 scare factor included in Extraction. Popular Post Archavia
194 - Prototype 2I rather enjoyed this, however it is quite short. I preferred it to the first Prototype, as I found James Heller to be more interesting than Alex Mercer, despite Mercer being more iconic. Heller's crudeness and vulgarity made him a bit more interesting without being too excessive like some characters, I absolutely loved some of his quotes (other characters too, I found the game to be very quotable). The one thing I'm sad they removed are the challenges from the first game, they were good fun to do, plus they made the platinum a nice challenge. This one was incredibly easy.Another comparison I want to make is Prototype to Infamous (as franchises). I actually much preferred the Prototype games to the Infamous counterparts, as unlike Infamous, you actually feel powerful in Prototype. I like being able to wreak havoc to everything around you. Not to mention being able to traverse terrain really fast, as opposed to slowly climbing buildings like Cole McGrath. Although I preferred the Prototype games, the Infamous games are more polished, so I would've loved to see a Prototype game on PS4 nicely polished. Alas, Activision had to ruin that by shutting down Radical Entertainment

Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 My 2nd Vita platinum, and 22nd overall. SKSV is a fun game with solid gameplay and variety of characters, but too much fan service and too many annoying loading screens.
Popular Post Ala-Arska
PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures Fully Pac-ed Earn every Trophy in the game There are good 3D platformers, there are bad ones, then there's...this. Nothing really stands out in this bland, mediocre attempt to mimic masterpieces like Super Mario 64. The graphics are average, the plot non-existent, replay value minimal....the controls are good, that I'll admit. There's one particular "word" often used. Normally I wouldn't do this, but it just describes PatGA very well: Meh. If you're a fan, you better stick to the classics...and Ms. Pac-Man

Popular Post Aela
16 LittleBigPlanet 3 Whelp, to continue the already extremely popular and well known LittleBigPlanet franchise, Sumo Digital has provided us with what is LittleBigPlanet 3. So, because I was extremely eager to play this new LittleBigPlanet game on the latest console, I had purchased this bundle: The Oddsock plushie never actually arrived with the bundle itself. Myself obviously being emotionally unstable, and in tears because of this, had emailed the seller, and thus a week later it was in my possession. It's... also a lot smaller than advertised, though - But nonetheless adorable. (I've still to even take the PS Eye out of its wrapping.) So firstly upon playing this game, I was happy with pretty much everything about it; be it from the upgraded visuals, smooth frame rate (60fps, isn't it?), new story, characters - and what appealed to me the most: Better creation! The creation aspect of the LittleBigPlanet games themselves is undoubtedly the major strong point of the franchise and is responsible for its overall success. But... Unfortunately, all it took was a couple of hours and I was left... bored. I wasn't even sure why- I just wasn't in the zone to the play this game, indulged. I think it may be because the game is lacking that subtle yet noticeable detail that the more stronger LittleBigPlanet fans could notice from Media Molecule. I'm still not sure why Media Molecule had handed LittleBigPlanet over to Sumo Digital, but I always do wonder how it would have turned out if they themselves had worked on this game. The introduction of the new 3 playable characters: Oddsock, Toggle and Swoop at first had daunted me. I was unsure where Sumo Digital was heading with this new idea - This is the part where'd I normally say the cliche "If it's not broke, don't fix it", but Sumo Digital did more than a great job with the implementation of these 3 new characters, and it's what makes this game stand out from the previous. We already had a very iconic Sackboy, so why not mix it up a little with some new additions? I had barely played this game at first. I had only got the easiest and most accessible trophies at the time, and then recently went back to it to sweep up its platinum for my 1000th trophy milestone. And being honest, if it wasn't for the milestone, it'd still be waiting on my profile with its previous 50-60% trophy completion. I really hope I can fully indulge into this game at a later date, but for now, not even the creation is capable of doing that. But overall, the platinum for this game is not hard, and the only trophies which should be rather tedious to attain, respectively, are Ace Adventurer, and A guy called Quest. Popular Post Terra Leonhart
#80 Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward Virtue's Last Reward Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Where do i start with this masterpiece? I'll say this the characters well developed and memorable. As you complete good or bad ending the pieces are starting come together. You'll get a clearer picture of the characters and their motivations. I think Spike Chunsoft did great job with that. Ah, the plot, that's one the strong point about this game. It's not predictable and you'll think to yourself "I did not see that coming" except for one certain character you all know who i mean I hope they'll eventually finish developing Zero Escape III cause i really want to know how it ends and hopefully remaking the prequel 999. If you own a Vita you owe it to yourself play this underrated game.

Popular Post Floriiss
#97: Jak II Done Done Done For excellent and dedicated field work in the field of battle for completion. GOD this game was awful compared to the first one. If I had to describe this game in three words I'd say: Annoying. Frustrating. Illogical. The annoying part about this game is that whenever you need to start a mission you have to travel all the way to the mission. There's no fast travel. I had to travel all the way through town to start a mission, and when that mission was done, I had to travel all the way to the other side of town to start the next mission. Seriously, I think I spent more time traveling than I'd be playing missions. Secondly, this game is pretty frustrating. The fact that there are not many checkpoints make this game so frustrating. Also, flying through town was frustrating. I always chose the smallest vehicle, since that one was the fastest. However there's A LOT of traffic flying through the air, so it's very hard to not crash into someone. If that wasn't frustrating enough, they also put in races to make it even more frustrating. Apparently it's legit for the NPC to cheat on this game. A great example is the Race against Erol. This is the race where you have to fly through all the blue rings. When I even miss one ring, the mission is failed. A couple of times I smashed him on the side of his vehicle so he missed the ring, and I flew through it. And what happens!? Of course he can just continue! Like do these rules only apply to me? I need to fly through every damn ring and he can just skip rings. RIGHT. Fun isn't? Thirdly, this game is sooo Illogical. Makes no sense at all. Apparently It's normal to crash into any civilian, or just overrun them. That's normal. But when you crash into one crimson guard with even the slightest Force, bro they're on you. And no, not one guard, not two, but a whole damn army. I'm glad this is over with, and I really hope that Jak III is better than this one. Please. Edited February 5, 2015 by Floriiss

The number of collectibles will turn some people off, but I enjoy the challenge of finding hidden things in games. I managed to miss just 2 collectibles on my first playthrough without using a guide. I had to go back and grind some of the perk related trophies but only because some were really tough to get on an Uber playthrough. Not much replayability here though despite unlocking additional difficulties, sadly.
