Popular Post slender_adrian
- World of Final Fantasy - #147 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Grind: 5/10 Time: 99 Hours Rarity: [Ultra Rare 3.1% / Rare 10.25%] "One thing about Grymoire... it never gets old for me." So what the honk is World of Final Fantasy? Well is a game that's intended as a celebratory title to commemorate the series' 30th anniversary, basically it has characters and monsters from a lot of Final Fantasy games in a unique world called Grymoire with a unique story and with a distinctive chibi style that gives this game its charm. I wanted to play this game for a while now, its style looks pretty cool and I always loved the monster hunting mechanics from FFX-2 & FFXIII-2, and this game is all about it. Basically this game is FF pokemon. This is a game that from the outside it may look like very simple and stuff but in reality is that once you get on the later stages the game will require strategy and more thought overall, one big advice no one told me items that deal damage and gravity are your best friends on the late late game. One thing that really bugs me is how slow this game runs the menus, this is a game with a lot of menuing and I know if the menuing was better optimized the game itself would be even better, because it makes the whole leveling the pokemons really tedious. I know is a VITA game upscale for ps4, but still you'll expect a better performance in a ps4. Other than that is really awesome seeing back all this characters in this chibi form haha. I highly recommend playing it on ps4, the game really looks amaizing. It took me 40 hours to reach the true ending and I have to say that the story is very interesting, I liked a lot the villain cast especially the Plumed Knight, the design for that character is amazing. The animations in battle are cool, there are very funny moments and references to previous games and overall it was a pretty entertaining game. I didn't like the protagonists, they are the typical incredible stupid boy and the incredible smartass girl anime characters, I can't stand listening to Reynn talking. The game has its roots on amime, it's a very "anime" game, including the story and characters. But totally recommend playing this game for fans of FF. A lot of work needs to be done for the platinum. I did it all by myself and to sum it all up you'll need to: get the true ending, do a lot of side quests, capture/imprism all mirages, level 100 mirages, do extra dungeons, get all chest in all areas, do all the special fights in all areas (murkrift), discover all secret areas, fight bosses and the cherry on top, minigames. What better way to celebrate good old FF than with some really annoying minigames hahaha. Ok I want to say that I don't consider this plat hard by all means, it just requires a lot of work, I'm not sure if the trade option still works, that could help with getting all mirages without investing to much time. So for completionists this could be a good game to plat. I've seen a lot of people complaining about the minigames of WoFF, but they aren't that bad to be honest. The only tricky part is getting the maduin mirage, which requires to win the sandstalker minigame in less than 20 moves and without casualties, this is very luck based but there's a setup to make it easier. Winning 10 times on sandstalker is easy too, with a good setup, to win you'll must always follow the enemies you find or remember where they are and for the maduin run check the setup in the hidden content. The cactuar minigame is simple and straightforward nothing special about it, but for the Lightning minigame I came up with a strat of pausing before an enemy pops that is all you'll need and the blitz one is just practice. Phewww this been very exhausting, well this plat wasn't what I was expecting haha. World of Final Fantasy is a cool game and very fun, but the plat is very grindy, and definitely not a 3/10, more like a 5/10. Took me 99 hours but being honest it didn't felt like I played this game for 99 hours so pretty good. The most tedious part of this plat were getting all mirages, leveling 100 of them up, doing some minigames and a lot of side stuff that required a lot of time like getting all chest and all that. Long story short this game plat can have a lot of experience killers. Pretty solid game despite it all, a lot of references to previous FF games and very fun to play. Spoiler Sandstalker minigame set up Spoiler A B C D E 1 2 T 3 S 4 5 V This is a good setup for the maduin run, this is a guessing game so remember there is no skill in this only luck, rng and good guesses. They're both great additions to the wider Resident Evil franchise that are otherwise usually skipped.
Popular Post greggors95
Platinum 76- Last Stop Had this is my collection from PSN for a couple of months, found out it was on off the games due to leave PSN in May so thought now was a good time to get into it. It's very similar to the tell-tale style games in where there's different dialogue options as well as choices, there a some missables that if you select a different option would be cancelled out but the game is easy enough to play for a chilled game. You play three different stories that at first don't connect until right at the end. If you want a nice pallet cleanser with a short story which is interesting enough to keep you playing then would recommend this game before it leaves PSN its rough about 7 hours give or take but most chapters are like 10-15 minutes long

Popular Post Moridin83
# 308 Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon's Keep Ehh, I didn't love this one. I thought I remembered what I'd be in for gameplay wise, time had definitely dulled some of the rough edges. Starting from level one is not a great experience, even though they rebalanced the standalone to accommodate it. There's still the feeling of being really weak and under geared that's never fun, but especially when the game isn't long enough for you to really hit badass status yourself. "Easy mode" on any difficulty helped, but enemies are still relative bullet sponges, even then. The story isn't bad (for a borderlands title), but some of the impact it had originally as a epilogue to BL2 is lost as a standalone. Certain trophies also really don't respect your time. I got lucky with cute loot, but you can check the forums for some horror stories of how long it can take, and having to do the better part of a full playthrough each to level Salvador and Zero enough to get their actions skill trophies sucked. Honestly, I'd say if you have fond memories of this game, keep it that way. I didn't feel this one was worth my time, and I wish I hadn't revisited it.

Considering it's a pack in and basically a tutorial for the DualSense, I was not expecting much, and to be fair, it is a brief game, without much difficulty. However, there was clearly some love for the history of Playstation with it, so If you've been playing Playstation for more than a couple of generations, there's some nostalgia to be mined. It didn't do anything spectacular, but I smiled through most of my time with it, and sometimes that's all you can ask for. But safe to say since it's Sly Cooper, I probably enjoyed it very much. Difficulty: 3/5 - Like I said, just the challenges I had left to finish off the plat for this game and a handful were definitely challenging and required many tries. Hard enough that I was getting quite frustrated with a couple just because of the wonky hitboxes and parkouring. Mainly the Tsao and Dr. M boss challenges but that can probably be chalked up to me trying to rush it at that point. Security Breach was the one though that really tested my patience. The one where you have to defend the plane in the hangar. I was never one that was good at multitasking and having to keep track of both sides at the same time gave me some trouble. Once one enemy got through to the plane I'd panic and that'd be the end of the run. I obviously eventually got it though. The Ultimate Gauntlet challenge was also quite daunting and was the reason why I probably didn't plat this game originally 7 years ago. But really they give you plenty of time and you can mess up so much and still get within the time limit easily. Enough time where you can stop and heal if you took hits so it really wasn't that bad at all. They give you something like 12 minutes to do it, I did it in 10 and I messed up a ton so plenty of leeway. Just something about time limit challenges that stresses me out. Love the Sly series but certainly glad they're eliminated from my backlog finally. Congrats Such a great series. It took me a year and eight months to do so because of revisiting after getting the platinum for Atelier Ryza 3, and I had already obtained it for the first one on my first try. I wanted to achieve perfection because the Ryza games are just that great. Overall the gameplay and alchemy system are simple to pick up for Atelier Ryza 2, just like the others. The music is fun, whimsical and engaging. Plot in AR2 is better and more cohesive than in AR3, but the first one is still my favorite. Ultimately this now makes me want to try to earn the platinum for Atelier Sophie 2 again (which I gave up on), so we will see. Overall: 8.5/10 Excellent Glad you enjoyed it. My only complaints arethat, despite the game having an open world some areas are small and short, you get there, quickly face a boss and leave. The other is because the game is very easy, I played on normal difficulty, the only thing I noticed on hard difficulty is that there is no aim lock but it doesn't take long for you to be op, and enemy levels don't scale in the new game+ if an enemy is higher level than you, they will only be more spongy. But the story is very good, 2B's ass, the combat animations, the beautiful soundtrack. 2B became my favorite female character, along with Tifa. Popular Post Spageos
#57 OneeChanbara Origin I've had this series recommended to me like for two years, around when I was playing all the Dynasty Warriors games, finally got around to trying it. This one's nothing too crazy minus the sheer amounts blood in it - yet it's so cartoony (in a good way, I do dig the artstyle very much) - though I can't see it bothering anyone too much honestly. The game is short - very short and I finished it 4 times but never really felt sick of it as I played. The only (potentially) difficult thing here is the three no damage trophies but there's a means to make them pretty easy. The english dub is (mostly) pretty good here but the lipsync timing is non existent - it's boggling how off it is sometimes lol, it's the only really off-putting thing to me in the game. But the characters themselves are nice and I'm definitely gonna give the game prior a try sometime soon. #58 Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online I understand that this game probably isn't the proper Neptunia experience, but it's still pretty fun as I do like my action based RPGs here and there. It's nothing difficult either, majority of the combat is basic melee attacks with magic skills, I used Vert primarily as I found her healing spell mixed with her offense helped balance things in my favor, that and the AI sometimes doesn't cast heal when they should. The story is your typical "a demon king must be stopped!" kind of thing but the characters are fun (my favorites being Vert and Nepgear) and makeup for whatever the story might lack. Granted, these games weren't intended to be peak storytelling... and for me I do like goofiness so I can't really complain about it. Although, I can say I never really faced hurdles playing it and I spent only a solid 30 hours finishing it. A reasonably good game to kill some time with. Eventually, I'll finish the first game in the series along with that two came after, just need to get through my backlog first.

Popular Post Bratinov
Plat 105: Hitman 3 Difficulty: 4 Fun: 8 Grind: 3 It has some of my Favorite Maps in the Series. If you liked the new Hitman games you will like this. I'm a bit salty that I had to rebuy DLC I already owned from the previous games though... the way this trilogy handled it's DLC is a total mess. Autopops for the DLC was a welcome addition, as much as I love this series, redoing the previous two games again would have been too much! Not a fan of the always online DRM! Plat 106: ASSASSIN'S CREED IV BLACK FLAG Difficulty: 7 Fun: 9 Grind: 7 I'm really proud of this one. The campaign is so good it was actually worth the online grind, the 30 fps and the the ABSOLUTE nightmare that was the online DLC. These are undoubtedly the worst servers I've ever had to deal with, congratulations Ubisoft! I bought TWO extra boosting consoles for just one shitty online trophy, making this the most expensive 100% on my account by far! Plat 107: ASSASSIN'S CREED ORIGINS Difficulty: 3 Fun: 5 Grind: 7 Eh, It's ok. Sadly, I played this after Odyssey, so it was a big downgrade for me. Running around the desert for hours to get the damn Frog Rain is utter BS! Plats 108 and 109: The Plague Tale games Difficulty: 5 (for Requiem) Fun: 9 Grind: 4 Both are amazing narrative driven games. Requiem is surprisingly tricky to Plat efficiently, the ending is also quite something... Plat 110: RISE OF THE TOMB RAIDER Difficulty: 5 Fun: 6 Grind: 7 I finally decided to do this one. It's getting old and it's heavy reliance on servers for trophies had me on edge the entire time. I dreaded doing score attack, but it's actually not hard at all. I did score attack for each level as soon as I finished it in the story. I can safely say the trophies ruined my experience with this one. It's the worst way I've seen online trophies integrated into a game, since you have to beat the entire campaign to be able to do them. The co-op trophies look intimidating, but are really not that bad, stick together with your partner and you'll be fine. Luckily, non of the trophies glitched on me. Popular Post Mr_Fluffy_Pants_
359 - Dave the Diver What a great game this was, best game I’ve played so far this year and one of the best I’ve played in my life for sure. It’s bursting with content, so much so that I often felt overwhelmed there was so many things to do. It even has a free cross over DLC with one of my other all time favourite games, DREDGE The gameplay is a cross between a cozy fishing-farming type game, and a management type game. In this case it’s managing a restaurant; which I feel is a very popular practice in reality, yet for some reason very under represented in games. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous. I’m not sure how they went about making this pixel art, but there is so much of it and so many unbelievable pixel art cut scenes that I can only imagine it took a lot of very talented artists a long time to pull off. This is mixed with 3d backgrounds which really give the game an overall amazing presentation. The music is wonderful as well and there really wasn’t a single track in this game I didn’t like. A lot of very relaxing type music and then some upbeat type tracks for when the situation warranted it. I found the difficulty was very well balanced, I was never overflowing with cash like you often find yourself in these types of games. There is always so many things to spend your money on, that you never have a surplus. I will mention that I basically played the game blind though, so I’m sure if you looked up some money making tips maybe you would have a different experience. There is also tons of mini games in this title, often they play like another genre of video game. There are also story sections of the game which switch up the gameplay a lot, such as one section that plays like a 2d stealth type game, and another section which plays like a visual novel. I also have to mention the boss fights which were also very well done with huge pixel art boss sprites, and again a variety of gameplay such as one boss which plays like a shoot ‘em up. Each boss starts of which a huge pixel art screen which I was also a big fan of. All in all this a truly a masterpiece of a game in my opinion. It’s very unique, I’ve never played another game quite like it. I can’t recommend this one enough. There is only one missable trophy, and it’s very hard to miss. I recommend you just play this one blind and take your time with it, experiencing all this game has to offer. Even the trophy art is great: Ive made a couple YouTube videos about how to get some of the trophies which I found more elusive, so check them out if you feel like it! That was Most Wanted, which I got for free as part of EA's 25th anniversary, on the Vita, which I Platinum'd on the 4th of January 2015. It remained the only NFS I had ever played until Unbound entered the PS Plus Extra line-up as one of its headliner games for last month. Now, 3,397 days after I unlocked Most Wanted's Plat, I've got my second NFS Plat. The previous entry in the series, 2019's NFS Heat, was made by Ghost Games but it was the fabled racing game studio Criterion that helmed development for Unbound. The first next-gen game in the series, EA made the refreshing decision not to launch it on PS4/XBone which allowed the devs to really take advantage of modern platforms without being held back by increasingly antiquated hardware. I was impressed with Unbound's technical aspects, with quick load times, smooth and crisp graphics, and a solid framerate throughout my 40ish hours with the game. Perhaps the headlining feature compared to previous entries is the fact that character models and driving effects have a 'unique' cell-shaded anime-inspired look, as seen above. This is uncanny valley territory more than anything else when it comes to the humans, while the flourishes added to the cars such as exaggerated clouds of smoke and the like really don't do anything at all. Different for the sake of being different, perhaps. From a gameplay perspective, there isn't much I can really say without sounding like a doofus because racing games usually just aren't my bag - meaning that I cannot really evaluate its gameplay mechanics in any kind of depth. I find driving - IRL and in video games - to be quite unenjoyable, and merely a means to an end (go from A to B, and nothing more). The odd racing game thrown into my collection makes for a solid break from other genres though, and Unbound filled that role quite nicely even if I did recently play another racer (the cynical LEGO 2K Drive). Set in a incredibly generic open world based on Chicago and its surrounding counties (called 'Lakeshore' to drive the point home), Unbound offers a rather superfluous story to propel you from one single player race to the next. You're an orphan, you finally managed to buy a car to go racing with, your friend reluctantly betrays you, you enter the underground racing scene, bla bla bla, you're now champion of the city, hurray. Nothing of particular note there, but then you shouldn't be playing racing games for the story anyway, surely? There is also a pretty hamfisted cameo role for rap artist A$AP Rocky, but I don't know who he is other than knowing his name through cultural osmosis, so yeah. That's a thing. Ultimately, it was all just relatively mindless fun. The game seriously abuses rubberbanding which ruined a fair number of races for me, but never to the point where I got overly frustrated. The story is over in a flash with little challenge, and while there are no fewer than ten online-only Trophies, just one of them poses any kind of serious issue. Full House requires you to finish a so-called Playlist of races with a full lobby, meaning you are reliant on randoms to A. fill up the lobby and B. not drop out between races, but post-release updates introduce single-race-lists which unlock the Trophy even if someone drops out. With the boost in playercount from being included in PS Plus, getting the lobby filled only took a few tries. Actual gameplay-related difficulty comes from the annoying Flow Master, which requires a relatively challenging score to be attained in a Takeover event, but even that can be knocked out with some care, thought, and a properly upgraded car. As mentioned previously I spent about 40 hours with the game, and most of that time is ultimately spent on a needlessly large set of challenges and collectibles found across the open world. Challenges comprised of speedruns (go from A to B under a certain target time), speed traps (hit a single checkpoint with a speed of X or above), drift zones (get a drift score of X or above on a certain route), and long jumps (get X metres in the air from a ramp). Collectibles consisted of a set of bizarre identical bear-shaped balloons, billboards to smash through, and some of the ugliest graffiti/street art known to man. All in all, this game was really just an exercise in endlessly spinning the wheels (get it? Wheels. Driving game. I will see myself out) by mopping up all those repetitive collectibles and running the same races over and over again for the story and online mode. But it was inoffensive. It was mindless. And it never truly frustrated as long as you knew what you were doing. If you have the time to burn, and you don't want a game to challenge your mind or your skills, I'd say you should give Unbound a go while you still can via PS Plus Extra. If you aren't a subscriber, though, then maybe give the game a miss until it invariably ends up in PS Plus Essential. And if you don't subscribe to that either, then maybe don't bother unless you find a second-hand physical copy for 5 bucks or less. Inoffensive is good for a 'free' subscription game, but to spend actual money outside of PS Plus, I would expect a bit more.
Popular Post blacklight-nero
#477 Another Far Cry done it was ok when I started it I wasn’t quite into it and that lasted for the first few hours I don’t know why really I know what to expect from these games, But it got better the more I played and I did like the setting and visuals were nice in places, I liked that the protagonist speaks this time and some of the story was enjoyable it’s not my favourite by any means but I thought it was decent, I liked the edition of supremos and resolver weapons to add some variety to the gameplay even though I only found some to be useful I liked trying them out, I’ve heard people not liking that they did away with the skill tree which I can see why but I didn't really mind it this time around, I didn’t like doing the special operations and a mission disappeared from my log called The Vanishing which I was saving for last I like Stranger Things and I wanted to play this crossover mission bummer, I think Ubisoft may have removed it or maybe it’s level specific not sure, Oh well not starting again up to that point to find out anyway yeah that’s it. #478 I enjoyed this game I like Arkanes games and this was no different I do prefer there other games that I’ve played but still I thought this was very good, This is the third game I’ve played this year with a time loop mechanic the others being Treasures of the Aegean and The Outer Wilds and just like those I like the way it was done here good stuff, I liked the characters and the story was interesting and I especially liked the dialogue between Colt and Julianna and there back and forth was particularly good, The gunplay was satisfying but I did approach most situations in stealth even when I got better gear I still preferred that way of playing with use of the abilities which was fun, I thought it would potentially get to repetitive with only four areas in the game but the different times of day kept it interesting and I was still finding new stuff after finishing the game. One think I liked but also disliked sometimes was invasions I liked it for the most part just playing the game it was fun but when going for certain trophies requiring stealth she ruined a few runs which was a bit annoying still it wasn’t to bad, With all that being said I think this was excellent I had a great time. #479 Decided to just replay the story to refresh before I start Jedi Survivor, I enjoyed going through the story again just like the first time, I autopop the rest of what was left for the platinum can’t say I’m really into that but couldn’t be bothered getting the remaining collectibles again.

Popular Post Biscoito18
#249 - The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes Full House! Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Rarity: 12.71% (PSNP) / 1.0% (PSN) Now, among Supermassive's horror games released (not counting VR titles), the only one I have left to play is "The Devil In Me", but I doubt it will be better than this. In fact, "House of Ashes" surprised me so much that now I consider it the best of all, including "Until Dawn" and "The Quarry". The mythology is creative and goes deeper and deeper, just like the protagonists. There are several standout moments, like the epic finale under a solar eclipse. The characters are charismatic or interesting enough that you care whether they live or die. Jason is by far the best followed by Salim. An excellent duo that I would like to see in more games. "House of Ashes" is on another level. #250 - Dead Island 2 Who Do You Voodoo? Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Rarity: 32.72% (PSNP) / 3.3% (PSN) I've just got the plat for the PS5 version but I can't get enough of DI2. I also bought the two DLCs and finished them one after the other in both versions. And, for now, I'm the FASTEST ACHIEVER in the 100% Club of this PS4 version, having completed everything in 4 days and 21 hours. Of course, it's only a matter of time before someone surpasses me, but it shows how much I enjoyed this game and its amazing DLCs. HAUS was better than SoLA though. #251 - I Am Dead All Done Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Rarity: 50.93% (PSNP) / 10.3% (PSN) I decided to get the PS4 version plat too before it leaves PS Plus. Excellent little game. #252 and #253 - MediEvil Savior of Gallowmere My first time unlocking the same plat in sequence. Thanks to @Musashiden777 and their excellent quick guide. #254 and #255 - The Artful Escape All Done Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 1/10 Rarity: 73.36%-80.47% (PSNP) / 26.5%-30.9% (PSN) My second time unlocking the same plat in sequence.😁 Beautiful game, nice music but simple and repetitive gameplay. Sometimes it took a long time between gameplay sequences, but in the end, the spectacle is worth it. NEXT: Last Stop and Alien: Isolation.
