Popular Post insaneeeRob
Platinum The Witness There's a reason I don't play this type of game because I'm not a pro at puzzle type of games and thanks to one trophy this experience was not that good. The whole game was pretty chill and nothing too hard but the challenge at the end is pure RNG and it can get pretty hard because you can get easy puzzles and then a hard one. In my case it took me like 3 days to complete it and muting the tv and using a stopwatch is so much better cause you don't get nervous by the music. I never understood that "tetris pieces" puzzle and I just got lucky in my run. This game is pretty big if you decide to do everything else but after the main game I didn't wanted to do more puzzles again lol but at least this is my 81 plat after like 4 weeks without earning a single trophy. Popular Post Trancexistence
#89 - Dark Nights with Poe and Munro This was an enjoyably odd FMV game that ties in with two other FMV titles named The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker and The Shapeshifting Detective, for those who are familiar with those games. Our title characters are radio hosts from a town in England who front a call-in type show in which residents of said town call in to discuss various dreams and nightmares. This is merely a backdrop however for the various crazy scenarios Poe and Munro find themselves in during the course of the game's story, which is presented in a six episode TV show style format, with each episode running for around half an hour. At the end of each episode you're presented with a list of percentages for how many players picked each of the major choices and decisions that take place, in the same style as Life is Strange or a Telltale game. If you enjoy FMV games then there's a lot of fun to be had with this one, although even for a game of this type, the acting is extremely campy. The two leads nonetheless have good chemistry with each other however. If it does interest you, I do recommend playing the other two games I mentioned first for a better understanding of the story. Popular Post Clocker045
Lemon Cake (PS4) Enjoyment: 2 Difficulty:3.5 Platinum Trophy Name: I Love Lemon Cake I did this for a ps star collectible I thought was cute. Thought it would be a simple 10 hour or 15 hour game. It was over 30 hours and all because of the tedious grind for 10000 coins. If it weren't for that I'd have the numbers changed up. It's okay overall and something to break the action game play for something peaceful. If you want to platinum it I recommend having a podcast or something to distract. Story is basic and it's a bakery/work simulator that becomes a grind with how little you make. Most of the trophies you get easily but I wouldn't recommend if you think it's a fun or easy plat.
Popular Post Boomshanks
( 99) KILLING FLOOR 2 PLATINUM Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 5/10 It’s nice to clear out some of the backlog. As with a lot of games, I played this for a short while years back and then never touched it again. We got through the waves just fine but kept dying at the bosses ⚰️. This year I picked it back up again with friends with the intention of fully completing it and here we are. As far as I can tell, they are finally finished with adding new trophies to the game so now is as good a time as any. Since Helldivers took us over a year to fully complete it was nice to play a game that could be fully completed a lot quicker. My friends played as the Support and Field Medic and I was the Firebug and this turned out to be a good combination. The Firebug is great at taking out a lot of the smaller enemies while the Support is better at killing the biggers Zeds. And the healer… heals. The games consist of a few waves of zombies followed by a boss fight. You level up your perk as you play and this helps a lot since we struggled with the bosses on the earlier levels but could defeat them quite easily when we levelled up. The trophies mostly consist of getting all of the collectibles within a level without really needing to finish all waves. We did so anyway since we wanted to level up and it’s more fun to play that way. The collectibles are very varied. In some levels we were basically tripping over them everywhere we went and in others we looked around for half an hour without finding any. I believe we used a guide for only two levels but found them ourselves in all of the other levels and that was much more fun to me than just using a guide 😋. The game has fun and chaotic gunplay and there are varied enemies, some of which are quite a challenge to take down. As with most games, the key is to keep moving because when you get stuck in a corner it’s an almost certain death. I pretty quickly found some weapons that I liked and then just stuck with them for the rest of the game. Since we completed it in a few months, the game didn’t wear out it’s welcome, though I can’t imagine people playing this for years. The bosses vary tremendously in their difficulty with the Abomination being the easiest by far and some of the others like the Matriarch being very difficult on the later levels. When I got to level 25 I switched to also being a Field Medic and suddenly we got to much higher waves than ever before. Where we struggled to get to wave 15 beforehand, we suddenly got to above wave 30 without any real problems. The only real challenge was completing a match on Hell on Earth difficulty but even that was quite manageable. All in all, I had fun with the game. It’s a nice shooter that plays well and keeps you engaged. Since the trophies mostly consist of getting all of the collectibles in a single level we would just play one level after the other and got a steady drip of trophies all the time. The DLC is free so we went for getting 100% in the game. With this one out of the way, it’s time to move on to a big milestone – my 100th platinum. And it is just around the corner.
Popular Post BlinkWinkel
#265 - Persona 5 Tactica (PS4) The weird chibi style character design gave me low expectations, but it ended up being quite fun due to the interesting story and great Japanese voice cast. Of course I've played much better SRPGs, but it was still fun enough to make me want to get the platinum trophy. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Got a lot of new PS4 games to play next (7 in total) plus Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution is finally coming out next month!! Popular Post OmriStyle27
#78 - LEGO Jurassic World (PS4) - Life Finds A Way Collect all of the Trophies. ------------------------------ Another year , another LEGO game. I'm planning to do at least 1 LEGO game each year , i don't know why but i have a soft spot for those lego games , maybe because the formula of lego games is so simple and fun , i usually play lego games when i don't know what i want to play and somehow it always works pretty well each time. it's a fun time killer that anyone can enjoy and usually i always find some lego games that are based on my favorite franchises. About the game - The Jurassic Park trilogy are one of my favorite movies of all time , and i did really enjoyed the first Jurassic World movie and all of them are included in this game so i just had to play it , and let me tell you , it's currently my favorite lego game. there are only 20 level in this game (5 for each movie) but the level design is just a great interactive fun that captures my favorite scenes from each movie, i actually felt like i'm playing those exact scenes and i was kind of surprised of how good and fun it was , they really nailed it honestly. also what special about this game , is that not only those it has voice acting (which a lot of lego game doesn't have) , they actually used the original sound file from each movie. so each time a lego character talks during a cutscenes or gameplay , they are playing the movie in the background so it's kind of sounds like the original actors are doing the voice acting for this game , which i thought was pretty cool and super unique. And the best part for me about this game is that it has a small open world for each movie , and the fact that i could travel around inside each park and drive around the islands was such a great time for me and it really added a lot of charm to this game. unfortunately , this game suffers from the same issues of all the lego games - you have to play the game twice and there is a tone of collectibles which can be super grindy at the end. but overall a great game and highly recommend if you like the lego game formula. Popular Post PurpleNightmaren
Final Fantasy VII - #100 I'm already a huge fan of Final Fantasy, so I really enjoyed playing FF7. Looking forward to playing the Remake and Rebirth. Mostly wanted to finish this game because it was the first PS game my mom ever played, and I decided to beat it just for her. 27 years later, lol That and finding out PS Plus is removing a bunch of Final Fantasy games, for some reason. I'm going to try and see if I can beat FF8 before it's gone Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing - #101 Fun kart racer, the sequel was also fun. I hope Sega makes a third one someday, It was really neat seeing classic characters racing with each other.

Popular Post Mr_Wright95
Platinum 189 The Artful Escape This is a prime example of why you should always give a game a chance, even if you think it might not be for you. Whilst looking at gameplay footage / what I had heard of this game, I did not think it would be anything fancy. I decided to tackle it before it left PS+ Extra and I am very glad I did. This game is visually stunning and the story of self discovery, was pretty good. The gameplay was fairly minor, but it was a nice experience in amongst some of the longer / harder games I have been chipping away at. The story did drag a tiny bit towards the end, but I think that comes down to pacing more than anything else. I also appreciated that I did not need to follow a guide for the whole playthrough like many of these shorter story driven games with missable trophies. With all that in mind, I would recommend playing this one, especially if you have PS+ Extra. Based on this I have this game ranked in the "Solid & Fun" Games tier, and fairly high in that tier. Popular Post RylahPlatin
Platinum #53 [Dave the Diver] Total Playtime: 32 hours Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 PSN Rarity: 4,10% (Ultra Rare) THE BEST DIVER I'm really glad that Dave the Diver has finally been released for PS5. Definitely one of the best indie games of the last few years. The game itself is very relaxed - during the day you do your dives and collect items and fish for your own equipment and the sushi restaurant. At night, you manage your restaurant, wait tables and generate revenue. You can then reinvest the money in your equipment or restaurant. The game gradually becomes more complex and new mechanics are regularly introduced in the first few hours. The game finds a good way of not overwhelming you with new things or overtaxing you. The main story with all the bosses and side quests took me about 27 hours to complete. After the story you have a short grind for postgame trophies, which takes about 5 hours. There is one missable trophy that you should look out for. Everything else can be done in a relaxed manner after the story in free roam. All in all, a really good and refreshing experience. It's less about the story but more about the relationship between Tess and her mom. The mix between 3D and 2D artstyle is quite charming. The plat is very easy as most of them are story trophies or just to interact with things. I watched a 100% walkthrough on the side to follow the steps and it took me around an hour. Popular Post BlinkWinkel
#266 - Loopers This visual novel didn't get a physical PS4 release in the west so I was planning to play it on PC at some point, but change of plans when I found out that the Japanese PS4 physical version includes English text Definitely an amazing VN and I really enjoyed it, but unfortunately it was really short. It only took me about a day to finish and that's by taking my time and playing on auto because I like to enjoy the voice acting to the fullest. A day well spent for sure though! Popular Post Thrillhelm
#3600 Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster (PS5 Version) Difficulty: 3/10 Time to plat: 10 hours Fun: 8/10 A bläst from the past, a game originally released in 1995, when the genre wasn't called FPS but Doom clone. Dark Forces Remaster received various Upgrades, notably in graphics and performance, and for a PS5 game with a luxury of options that leave little wishes. You take the role of Kyle Katarn, a former Imperial officer who deflected to the rebellion after the Empire killed his family, and guide him through 14 missions against the Empire and the scum of the universe. The story takes place before Return of the Jedi and got spared from future embarassments of that franchise, it's the same as the game: bare bones. You run, gun, shoot and riddle through mazes of levels, just like you did in Doom and moreso in Wolfenstein 3D, and while it's confusing and cryptic as hell at times, it's also dumb fun. The fact that a game this old actually has a story that's decently told and blends into the SW universe is Just awesome, gunplay isn't precise but it doesn't have to be (after all you mostly fight Stormtroopers). It shows that Star Wars is more than swinging lightsabers. Took me ten hours to plat the game which has no missables, Just story-related trophies and killing a mouse droid which appears in a lot of levels. If you want you can set the game up for the 1995 experience, the options allow that. However, even when you get the game as crossbuy, 30 Euros is a bit expensive, so wait for a sale. Fun fact: game was banned in 1995 in Germany due to the "violence" (it's tame to modern standards) and was never released officially for 25 years when the ban got revoked, but had a Germany dub nonetheless. It's successor Jedi Knights got no German dub because the developers believed It to be banned as well, but wasn't. Popular Post SirDave1988
#183 Rainbows, Toilets & Unicorns (PS4) Platinum Rainbow I'll never get unicorn flavour again Where the hell do I start with this one? This is probably the most random platinum on this page, and certainly the most random one I've ever done haha. I had a spare £5 on the PlayStation Store from redeeming accumulated PlayStation Stars, saw this going for £2.26 on sale, looked on here that it had a fairly common platinum, and I was like what the heck, for redeemed Stars, why not? I could sum up this game like this. It is a cross between the arcade shooter Galaga and the Medical Marijuana sequence from The Simpsons episode "Weekend at Burnsie's", with pop culture caricatures. That's the best way I can sum it up. It's a VERY short game with only 5 levels for each of the 5 worlds, nothing much other than that, and each world can be completed in 20 mins. However, you die in one hit and have to complete all 5 levels for each world in 1 go, so it will probably take about 1 hour for each world, accounting for practice. A very short but tricky experience, as the precision of your on screen character has to be pinpoint to avoid being hit. And I've never been good at vertical shooters! Date Completed - 24th April 2024 My Platinum Difficulty Rating - 6/10 My Game Rating - 3/10 Hardest Trophy - Nikky Mouse
