Ok so I own two consoles now I have a xbox 360 and a ps3 I was thinking of getting a ps4 but I play on both consoles as in I will play xbox on Monday and play ps3 on Tuesday and rotate like I go to school (high school so for people that's gotta judge or say no life lol I do have a life). Do you think its too much to have 3 consoles to play on or no

Lol, you pull out the 5200 often, do you

Only when my wife pulls out her honey-do list. "Sorry hun, I can't clean the gutters, I haven't played my 5200 this week!" Doesn't usually work though...

Actually, I do enjoy playing my 5200. The controller is so bad that it adds a challenge to otherwise fairly easy games.

I've never seen one in person but I still enjoy my 2600. I have this piece of shit 6 inch black and white grainy tv and that is the only thing I will play it on (it adds to the fun)

I've started a collection of Sony Trinitron televisions to play my older consoles on. People will generally post them on Craigslist (I don't know if you have that in the Great White North) for something like $30-50 and I'll message them and tell them I'll pick it up and get it out of their way for free if they want to get rid of it. I've gotten 5 that way, 3 36" ones and 2 32" ones. I plan on picking a Ferrari F355 Challenge arcade machine up early next year (the triple monitor edition) as well as a Ms. Pacman machine, I really need to get my gameroom underway so I can have it all hooked up though.

We have craig's list but no one uses it Kijiji is more popular here.

The one arcade machine I would love to own is a 6 person X-men machine. That is my goal, to one day own that :)

Don't quite have all that Parker has, LOL. I do manage to balance between a Ps3 and Ps4 and do plan on picking up a vita early next year so I will learn have to manage 3 then.

I am in the same boat of having these three.

The best thing I find is to have 1 or 2 games for each console. That way you have to switch console to play something different.

I've got a 12" Trinitron that was my gaming monitor for my gamecube and PS2 for part of college. Still have it tucked away in the basement. I also have a 17" computer monitor with a Trinitron tube. In it's day, nothing could beat those tubes.

UPAxGUNxGRAVE - If you're in high school, you can definitely have 3 consoles (or more) to play on. I'm probably double your age, and game on my PC, PS3, PSP and Vita fairly regularly.

If you ask me, the purchase of a next-gen system will be required sooner or later anyway if you're planning to keep up to date with modern console gaming in the next years. So yeah, buying a ps4 does make sense in my opinion. Personally, i don't see why one should have a XBox and a Playstation as most games can be played on both systems, unless you're a collector of course.

Damn bro, the 80's left us 2.5 decades ago, get rid of those 19" crt's for all those poor old systems. :P

Seriously though, that's a pretty awesome collection of systems. I wish I just still had most of my old NES games and they hadn't gotten stolen; so many classics gone. Btw, are there significant differences in the 3 PSP models that you own? Just curious why you have 3 and I never owned a PSP so I didn't really keep up with what the various models did or didn't do.

That's pretty cool about the Trinitrons too; I actually recently had a friend give me his 32" trinitron that he didn't want anymore and now have my Wii, PS2, Dreamcast and SNES hooked up to it. The Wii I switch back and forth and use the trinitron when I'm playing VC games. I also have my PS3 hooked up via A/V cables to the trinitron for when I'm playing fighters so that there's no input lag because I can't afford any 50"+ hdtv's with 1 frame or less lag and don't want to play on a 24" or less monitor.
