I was at my doctors office today, and I couldn't get on any wifi, the single was to weak, it still popped when i went to near. Or is there something im missing about near?" hmmmmmm.... *scratch head* wait a moment... after some time of research (around 3 mins in google), apparently the trophy will pop by pressing yes when a warning message from game asking you if you want to send the gift, so possible to earn just being offline and just send a gift... needs confirmation though... All I can think of though is ModNation Racers, CoD BOD AND Unit 13. in Modnation, Near can be used to gift people items to use. COD, same sort of thing but you can be gifted multiplayer classes. Unit 13 will still be attainable but harder to get. All the HVT's. There are 9-10 seperate trophies for each HVT and an overall trophy. I just got an email from Sony about Maps and YouTube going away, to their credit, at least they're warning people. Modnation it will not affect trophies I don't think... According to the guide over on .org, all you need is online functionality to download other people's creations. (tl;dr: no) Call of Duty will not be affected as there are no trophies relating to the online mode. Colour gifts are sent using Near, so no Near no trophy, no trophy no Platinum. Kirijama The trophy description is misleading, you never needed near to do this trophy in the first place, you just needed to change the colours, I remember doing this one on my old profile. Hello all So, we learned yesterday (28 Jan 2015) that Sony is going to be retiring the Maps app from the Vita system in a system update scheduled for March 2015. This will have knock on effects for at least some of the functions used in the [near] app, and games that rely on [near]. More to follow later, if I get the chance. Any chance this can be updated to see what was actually affected now that it's done, just in case someone reads this and thinks it's still accurate?
