Star Wars has been by far the greatest movie of all time. There is no denying that this film was the start of something big, and you cannot take away from it the fact that it changed the face of the sci-fi genre, maybe even the whole film industry, in to what it is today.

My favorite Blu-ray I own my Star Wars Complete Saga. Definitely something every Star Wars fan should own.

The original trilogy were brilliant and are classics, the 3 newer ones were a bit meh...

Personal favourite is The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, one of the greatest movies ever made.

I love movies and TV shows, got a fairly large collection on DVD and hard drives with a few Blu-Rays.

The classic Hitchcock movies: North by Northwest, Rear Window, The Man Who Knew Too Much etc are some of my all time favourites. Also really enjoy Westerns, I'll watch anything with John Wayne in it.

But my pride and joy is BOND 50. A glorious collection of all Bond movies from Dr. No to Skyfall. Can't wait for Spectre.

American Ultra was one of those movies I was afraid would be stupid, but still had a chance at being good. Turns out, this movie was pretty good after all. Jesse Eisenburg did a good job with his character in this movie. Kristen Stewart wasn't that good in my

opinion, but she did a better job in this movie than in Twilight. I know this movie was sort of meant to be at least a partial comedy, but I really didn't laugh in this movie. I did enjoy it as an action movie though because it contained a lot of the action that I good action movie should have. All in all, I wouldn't say that this was one of the best movies of the year, but it was an enjoyable movie.

I recommend you that one guys.

Back around the time PS3 came out, I started to collect Blu-Rays...

I bought (Batman) The Dark Knight, Hancock, and The Day After Tomorrow

Then I never bought any more Blu-Rays after that, started streaming or downloading movies when I wanted to see them. To be honest though, I'm terrible with movie watching, I have this gigantic list on stuff I need to watch :P

I like the initial idea of this thread, but do you think it may be a bit too broad? It may be better to put "post information about new movies here" thread. That'll stop the overload of threads of individual movies.

For instance, "Thoughts on video game based movies" or "post your most anticipated movie" deserve separate threads because they are not news related. See what I mean?

It's just food for thought. I'm not trying to shit on your thread! xD

Collections I will go after in the future are Lord of the RingsThe Hobbit. and Pirates of the Caribbean. (all the movies. :awesome: )

IF I ever decide to spend a huge chunk of money on a blu ray collection I definitely want the Live Action Rurouni Kenshin trilogy. I think it needs to be imported though so it's kinda heavy in price lol.

I just bought the entire Fringe collection on dvd (tried to get it on blu ray but it wasn't available plus it was quite expensive) and it should be here tomorrow. I purchased the first season years ago and recently watched it again. I finished it in like 4 days :awesome:  so I am up to speed in a sense and ready for that collection to arrive. That show was possibly the closest thing to the X-files as far as abnormal beings go.

Other than that I also own the complete Lost collection on blu ray which is amazing and a joy to watch. Not to mention the tons of bonus content you get with every season.

In terms of movies:

Toy story collection (blu ray)

Harry Potter collection (blu ray)

LoTR trilogy (blu ray)

Star Wars complete saga (blu ray)

Goldeneye, Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace and Skyfall (all on blu ray)

Batman TAS volume 1&2 (dvd)

Some other animated movies

...

Some collections I wish to own include some mentioned above such as Pirates of the Carribean, Mission Impossible, The Hobbit trilogy and the entire James Bond collection

Anyway thanks for reading :)
