Eblait Posted July 18, 2023 Share Posted July 18, 2023 (edited) Trophies I got since last week's post: Final Fantasy XVI I'm at the endgame - just now I crafted Gotterdammerung, and finished all the sidequests in the Storm area of the map. I think there's 3 chronoliths left to beat and 4-5 marks to hunt, and also the side quests in Ash - then it's off to the game's finale. This isn't the best mainline Final Fantasy out there, but it certainly has polish and its combat and story (having played most of it) were awesome. I just wish it was more challenging, and the sidequests had more weight. They obviously saved the best sidequests for the last act, but by then I was just skimming through the dialogue and completing them before the next quest in the main scenario; rinse and repeat. The presentation aspect of the sidequests (especially the cutscenes) isn't as great when comparing it to the main quests. All in all, it's a great entry in the franchise, and I do hope we see more of it in the future - it will be the opportunity to go back and start NG+. The controls are a tad weird and wonky to get used to but it's very addictive so far. Seems there's a ton to unlock too. I really enjoy the music a lot, it's perfect. Step into Neodori! The remake is a really badass game but for me the remake is missing a lot of the magic that made the original game the great game it is, but still, play the remake is worth it, no joking I spent almost 100 hours on it hahahahaha. I had already played this game before on hardcore and it took me around 36 hours to finish it the first time, the experience on Hardcore for me was as if playing the original game for the first time, pretty challenging at first. Btw the best part of RE4 is village. Very fun plat, you can approach this plat the way you feel most comfortable, combining runs like no healing with pistols only, or doing a pro run with S rank+ to stack the trophies for hardcore and standard, it's pretty much your choice on how to do this game plat. I wish the original had one, this platinum counts for both games since I love the RE4 original I completed it before this one as a way to expand this journey! Totally recommend this game and plat!
