So I came back to play this hidden gem that barely a few bunch of people have played, and man it was just pure perfection. Seriously, this game is amazing and is by far on my top 5. My first time playing this game was on the PS2 and is one of those games that were a big part of my baby kid years and until this day is one of those games I can play again and again without getting tired of it, and only a few games have gotten me like that. Coming back to this game was just perfect, I love playing this game, the controls are extremely good and they hold up well, and trust me seeing other people play this game is as good as playing it yourself. My first playthrough was pretty good, I relearned the game and some little tricks I knew, other than that I really liked this playthrough since I haven't played the game in years. After that playthrough I played a New Game + run, to learn more the game with more tricks and sick strats later used on my Professional run.

 

And talking of Professional difficulty, I loveeeee this difficulty setting, it's just perfect. A good challenge and pretty fair, not easy neither cheap, and very well balanced. Although I have to say this difficulty requires a bit of knowledge on the game to make it simpler in a way, other than that is just a good difficulty to play on and I can barely see me playing on normal rather than on pro, for me is way more fun having that extra challenge. I also played a lot of the extra content of the game, like Ada's story and mercenaries. 

 

I'm a big fan of this game, despite not making any sense at all Resident Evil is such a masterpiece. The Spanish dub this game has is by far one of its greatest aspects, in the Spanish community the dialogues on spanish are pretty much a meme, as a kid the dub can be very scary but now I can't take it seriously haha.

Really a game that impacted in a huge and great way videogames, if you haven't played RE4 original go play it, is a masterpiece everyone should at least give it a try! (Ashley is useless BUT no hate).

 

With this masterpiece done, it is time for Resident Evil 4 Remake!
