HOWEVER, ANYONE WHO STILL WANTS TO POP A PLATINUM TO HELP ME CELEBRATE MY WEDDING IS MORE THANKSGIVING WELCOME TO DO SO** I'm getting married on January 3, 2016, and to celebrate, I wanted to do something for the PSNP community. At first I wanted to do a giveaway, but just having people like a post for entry didn't seem right for me. So then I thought about a competition, but that wasn't quite right either. I didn't want someone to miss out just because they didn't have quite as much time to play. So that's when I came up with this event. The rules are simple. All you have to do is get a platinum trophy in a game that has a strong romantic theme on January 3, 2016. What better than a romantic themed game to enter a contest in honor of my upcoming wedding? Everyone who gets a platinum trophy that qualifies will then be entered into a random drawing to win a prize. I'm thinking it will be a $20 PSN card, but I haven't quite figured that out for sure. I also don't want to limit this to people from the NA region, so anyone is free to join, and I will try and accommodate the winner with a PSN card of their preferred region. Now, what games are eligible for this event, you ask? Well, that's something that is open for interpretation, but if a strong enough case can be made for the game, then I will add it to the list of acceptable games. Feel free to suggest a game that isn't on the list! Just remember that it needs to have a strong romantic theme and a platinum! I would also like for people to sign up and list what game they are planning to do, and keep progress updates throughout the coming months. You are allowed to change games anytime up until the day of the event, as long as you get the platinum on January 3, 2016!! Above all, have fun! I haven't played them, but I was looking at DA:Origins for the list. I assume DA:I has a similar amount of romantic focus in it. So I'll add it to the list. I'll look at the others too. Maphantom238 Posted October 3, 2015 Share Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) Final Fantasy X HD Well, since I got the Vita version of this game and vowed on my dead grandfamily's graves that I would ABSOLUTELY plat any game that ended up on my Vita's playlist, you can put me down for this. I don't care if I don't win the drawing, I'm going to be doing this platinum anyways for the 10 Plats a Day event, I hope, and I really really REALLY do not like this game, so maybe being forced to give updates will force me to get the plat on this and get it out of my hair. Don't get me wrong, the story is strong and I enjoy it, but some of the things you have to do to get 100% are insane. At least the trophies don't require you to upgrade everyone's ulimtate weapons as I can only stand so much blitzball. (Sorry, Wakka.) Also, I'll plat this game by hook or by crook because I was cheated out of FFX-2 HD for the Vita as it was digital. (DON"T PUT X-2 on your game box if you can't deliver, Squeeknix! ) Oh yeah, sorry... congrats! I hope you and your future wife(I hope? I'm not sure of your gender, sorry) have a happy happy life together. I know I'll never have a wife so I might as well help you celebrate yours. My friend bought it for me while he was in England and I knew I just had to write a guide for it Most of the trophies come from you LOSING the round. I'm literally on my last playthrough for P4G for that plat so maybe I could hold off a bit on it and finish it then. FFX is another story.. still got quite a bit left.
