Juzota
I like the animated movies of Resident Evil, both Degeneration and Damnation. Can't think anything else now based on games. Edited May 8, 2016 by Juzota
Kittens Are Awesome
Dead Space Martyr. Really good book. It paints horrifying images very well. The chapter the cover art is from is even creepier than that image. Highly recommended. Also, it's super cheap on Amazon.
Dr_Mayus
I'm pretty sure that the Metro 2033 game came after the book. Yes the book came out 14 years ago

danceswithsloths
Guild wars books. Bridges the gap between gw1 and gw2, written by different authors for each book but all 3 are incredible.

Dreakon13
The non-animated Resident Evil movies have become an abomination of visual media, but the first one was actually a pretty sweet zombie/sci-fi flick. One of the better ones out there. I don't really watch/read many video game cross-overs, so that's the best I got. Avatar_Of_Battle
While I don't have much to choose from, and I'm not surprised that it hasn't been mentioned yet, I'm going to have to go with Monster Rancher. That ending...

proxyagent
I would also have to go with Steins;Gate, great adaptation. I actually watched the anime first before playing the VN. Can't wait for 0! A lot of people give these OVA's flak, but I enjoyed them: Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals. It takes place in the FFV universe two hundred years after the game. Definitely not my favorite, but worth noting. Plus Prettz's nodachi kicks ass. Edited June 22, 2016 by xoxoagent
