Is that like... 3 days notice for Demon Gaze?

I guess we should be thankful we even got a notice?

Most likely its being delisted so soon due to an expiring contract between the pub and dev for licensing, which NISA has always had a bad habit of keeping track of lol.

I'm worried this may be a Dead Alliance situation, where it was assumed the game was peer to peer, but when the server went down, you couldn't get past the start screen.

The game is definitely peer to peer but as with some other modern online games it still requires an intermediate connection in-between. It could be just stat tracking or it could be full matchmaking going down as well by their wording which would make it a similar situation like Evolve PC went through.

These are only for Nippon Ichi Software America published games. You would need to confirm from the publishers of other regions if they are also getting pulled as their licenses may have different terms.

Kadokawa Games both developed and published Demon Gaze 1&2, God Wars, & Natural Doctrine in Japan. So those shouldn't be delisted in Japan since they own the IP. The Lost Child was developed by Crim and published by Kadokawa, I am unclear on which owns the IP. But Crim is the current publisher of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, and The Lost Child is a sequel to that, while the original dev and publisher of El Shaddai has closed. So I think Crim owns that IP, but I am not certain.

For Asian countries outside of Japan you would need to check who published it.

EDIT: Apparently Dragami Games inherited all these IPs from Kadowaka when it was created during a corporate split last year. So they may be in danger on Japanese PSN, but without details of the inheritance it's hard to say. At the very least they will not be affected by the NISA delisting in other regions.

Strong bad's cool game for attractive people is being delsited from steam, not sure if PS3 versions is affected or if they have been delisted already.

Decided to check this. I can confirm that the ps3 version is still available as of today. I'm looking at it right now. It has already been delisted on Steam.

Also, regarding Border Break, I found more information, and the game is still doable. If you are interested, I wrote a mini guide with pretty much everything you need here:

Friday the 13th will be delisted on Dec 31, 2023 and the matchmaking server will shut down on Dec 31, 2024 at the latest.

It doesn't say at the latest, it says at least until that date, then, an undetermined amount of extra time.

I'm glad I own these games already, but I'm concerned about dlc and patches, especially because the lost child had a patch a while ago that fixed some gamebreaking glitches I believe, so even if I were to play the game again (i have physical) I would have a buggy version.. And I wanted to buy all the dlc for God Wars so now I have to take them.

Patches aren't affected by delistings or server closures so you're safe on that front but there is a caveat for The Lost Child, because the Hong Kong (PS4 only) and Korea (PS4 & Vita) releases never got the trophy glitch fix patch, which means it's impossible to legitimately earn the Plat in those releases :(.

Right, I don't have those versions, only the EU one.

What about dlc? God wars have a few avd i would like to get them. But I can wait if they don't get delisted too.

The DLCs will almost certainly bite the dust as well so if there are any you want for these games, buy them now whilst you still can.

OK good to know, I should get them while I still can.

Now I need to figure out if natural doctrine will shutdown it's online. I haven't touched it but if it goes down I could give it a look. Otherwise I might keep it away.

Online trophies? Don’t think so. But it seems it has some kind of online service associated with it.

Dante’s Inferno is the big news here.

Dead Space 2 has a multiplayer mode from I watched footage of online, but no trophies seems to be tied to the multiplayer. If you want to pick and play the online, fell free to jump on and play for fun.

Now i know what game will be my top priority after the shutting down of Multiversus. Time to dust off the PS3 system and finish off those damnable trials.

Is 6 months the new standard now? A lot of these recent announcements have been 6 months or over (in the case of the battlefield games)
