That's a great idea. I'll compile that for you. I'll also include some things that people have mentioned but I don't think have made it into a play list like SOMA, Nioh, Bioshock, Dark Souls etc. Look for it by the end of the weekend.

I also got the job, assuming that platinum hair is "natural" enough for them (I'm purple rn and they said I'd need to take that out). If not, I...guess I'll have to keep looking, because I won't make a permanent change for a retail position.

 

Anyway, got started on Costume Quest, though I've yet to earn a trophy in it. Forgot how much I love this game. I'm hoping there's a Flash Sale this weekend, and that Night in the Woods, Night Trap, and/or Undertale is on it.

Here's the first 100 for the game list idea. I have it sorted by difficulty and then length. I'm using either personal experience or what guide makers estimated for deciding those ratings but take the estimates with a grain of salt. Thanks again to @Cassylvania for suggesting it. Hopefully it is helpful. When I finish it, I'll put it in the list on the first post where we all can find it more easily. If you have a suggestion let me know.

Hell yeah! Congrats on the job. My daughter has dark purple hair right now. She's too young to work, but I expected the school to get upset by it and they haven't thankfully.

@Toogie53 Wow, that was quick! That looks really good. I like the inclusion of difficulty/time. The only thing I could think to add would be a column for whether or not the game has a platinum. I usually don't care about such things, but I know some people (me included) are trying to get 13 platinums for the event.

 

There may be some other games that fit the theme. I looked through the PS store last night and came across a few new releases that might be interesting. One was called Coma, but I can't remember the others.

 

Also, how is nobody doing TWD for this?

It's funny because when I applied for HR jobs, I was told that purple hair wouldn't be an issue, but this part-time retail position is making me change it. So weird.

 

Also @Cassylvania, I'm doing TWD Michonne! Not mainline, but it counts.

Sorry for the confusion. I just worked on the list until I hit 100 games. I plan to still do more. I haven't been through everyone's lists for all the games and updated all the picks yet. The list is a work in progress. I'll add a platinum/100% column as requested.

I think I might get my first plat of the comp tonight. I will be starting the Bunker. I've heard good things about it so hopefully it is as good (and scary) as people say. I will then move onto Nightmares from the Deep before going onto Wolfenstein: Old Blood. Perhaps Nightmares from the Deep 2 after that. Then.....

Given the difficulty of the platinum, I should probably get a start on Outlast 2 sooner rather than later. But a part of me wants to wait until it is closer to Halloween to play it. I'm also still working on Neverwinter but I've given it a short break while I focus on other games. Here is my list so far:

@Cassylvania, I'm leaving the 'Break Out the Marshmallows' trophy for last as I thought it could be kind of fitting and also if you make a save in the Lab, you can easily reload it and get the trophy there so it shouldn't take very long. As regards the speedrun trophies, I did those the other day and you can save while doing them and come back to them so don't worry about having to do it in one sitting. Also the speedruns aren't as bad as they may look, I did mine in 2 hours and 57 minutes but that's with preparing to save everyone. But most of all, don't worry about doing it as it's actually quite fun and scary

Yes, is like a thriller, a lot of drama and that kind of stuff, I'm thinking about adding it to my list also

Thanks for the advice on the Resident Evil platinum popper, guys! I'll try to save Break Out the Marshmallows, since it looks easy enough to obtain with a backup save, but I'll consider Ghost of a Chance or one of the speedrun trophies if I accidentally trigger it. In either case, I'm just glad I can play the game without spoilers, because sometimes reading trophy descriptions ahead of time can ruin parts of the game.

 

Also, because it's Friday, we got ourselves an update! My journey this week was a busy one. As usual, my biggest accomplishments were non-event related (the XCOM 2 expansion and beating Crash 2), but I did manage to knock out all of the challenge rooms in Metro: Last Light Redux (I think I included this in my Monday update) and I started -- and finished -- The Deadly Tower of Monsters. I'm not sure about you guys, but my goal is to finish six games in September and another six in October, with Arkham Knight being the game I just chip away at until Halloween. (I got most of the trophies over the summer.) That puts the pressure on me to finish up two more games over the next week.

 

In other words, either Claire or a point-and-click game is looking likely.

Well, it appears the The Evil Within is testing my skill limits on Survivor...made the mistake of going for It is what it is at the same time (first run) so just hit Chapter 10.

Flash sale is up and it's not great for me. There are some games that fit the theme in there, though. I can highly recommend The Silver Case to anyone who likes visual novels or Suda51. Plus, the sequel's coming out next year! It'd be great for this event.

I've heard if you've made it past chapter 6 you've seen the worst of it. So it's just a matter of time for you man. Nice job!

Does anyone know if Akiba's Trip is porny? My understanding is you unmask vampires by attacking them on the street and ripping off their clothes. I'm interested in it but I don't want to feel like a perv playing it and I stopped buying stuff that I have to keep away from my kids.

I haven't played it myself, but I'm always a little leery about games like that. If you're not an adolescent boy, I advise staying clear.

Based on the gameplay I've seen, it's definitely not the worst thing in the world. I mean, I remember panty shots being in Soul Caliber 3. Usually with these games, though, the pervy stuff comes from in-game CGs. I'd recommend looking up gameplay videos and some in-game CGs before you make a decision.

 

(That said, I own it, but never started...if it was a little shorter, I'd consider playing it for this event.)

I also have a new update for you! I have now gotten Resident Evil ready to platinum on Halloween as I only need to do the Break Out the Marshmallows trophy. I managed to finished Jill/Real Survivor today and then also did the Chris/Very Easy/ Invisible Enemies/ No Save run as well and it was so adrenaline inducing as certain parts in the game had me on the edge of my seat as I didn't want to die as I couldn't save. I haven't felt that way in a game for a while so it's good to get those feelings again.  Here's my list for your weekly update:

Haha. I'll steer clear. That was the only thing that I was interested in on the flash sale that I haven't already bought previously.

Stayed up late to plat The Escapists: The Walking Dead to get a platinum on the board in both The team trophy hunters league and the national hunting day event. That puts me at 3/13 completed. I'm getting into the swing of it now.

Calling all Resident Evil folks! I was thinking of maybe putting another Resident Evil game on my list, but I see some of them have co-op campaigns. I have a few questions regarding this. I know the answers will probably vary by game, but what I'm wondering is:

1. Are these strictly online co-op campaigns, or can they be played with someone in the same room?
2. Is it necessary to play co-op, or can all of the trophies be reasonably obtained by playing solo?
3. Would anybody like to join up to complete any of these games as part of this event?

The games I'm currently looking at are RE5, and RE6, and RE:R. From what I understand, RE7 and RE Zero don't have online modes, and RE4 doesn't have a platinum (which is unfortunate, as it's the one I'd most like to play).
