Have a backlog of Himalayan proportions, so guess my list might as well just be everybody else's combined, lol

Sign me up for this, been looking for some kind of motivation to clear up my backlog and this public statement might just do the trick :-)

Any advice or recommendations on what to play first are also highly appreciated :-)

I'm in (maybe I'm missing a PSNP event without deadlines - Monthly Madness is really fun to me, but I was being a total failure in "A Casual Attack" and other events... ).

 

Here's my "first wave" (my PS3 backlog is outrageously big, so I will list just some games I want to finish in a short-term, but since I'm going to work on this event in an easy-going way, nothing will forbid me to post "following waves" before had finished all already-listed games... ), together with "personal goals" (I'm posting specific goals just as "personal reminders"):

 

• Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (Goal: Platinum)
• Mugen Souls Z (First Goal: Story complete; Main Goal: Platinum)
• NASCAR Days of Thunder (Goal: 100% or all 13 offline trophies)

Ok, had a quick look at my ps3 backlog...... trophy advisor shows I have 327 plats to pop (can knock about 40-50 off that total due to being multi platform or unattainable) , also have one or two hundred games without plats...... so going to have a hell of a ride ?

Dude, I know this feeling all too well.

Over 400 PS3 titles alone will keep me busy until Doomsday.

I'm terribly inconsistent when it comes to events where I need to choose the games beforehand (I don't plan ahead all that much or don't stick to the plan and play whatever I want), but let's give it a try.

 

Here are some games I want to get out of the way:

Dark Souls 2: Already completed it on PS4, great game, this is probably the game with the highest chance of me actually playing and completing it.

Demon's Souls: Let's throw another Souls game in here. The EU version sits at 100% on my account, I'm thinking about getting another version.

Disgaea 3/Disgaea 4: Endgame grind, I had this on my to do list for a while, but never did it. Might happen 2018.

Dragon's Crown: Bought it a while ago and never started it. Don't know much about it, but it's apparently a great game.

Record of Agarest War: That's the US version of the first Agarest, all others don't have trophies afaik, that's why I got this version. I'm already close to the end of the game. It's somewhat similar to Cross Edge in terms of gameplay, completing it should be doable.

Agarest: Generations of War 2/Agarest: Generations of War Zero: A sequel/prequel to the first Agarest. Once the first one is done, I might move on to playing them as well.

Resonance of Fate: Liked the game, but sucked at the battle system and stopped about halfway through the story.

Atelier Rorona/Atelier Totori/Atelier Meruru/Atelier Escha & Logy/Atelier Ayesha: Games I got on a NISA buying spree quite some time ago. I tried my hands on Rorona, didn't like it, never finished it (the Bad Ending doesn't count as beating it to me) and didn't start any of the other Ateliers. Probably the games with the lowest chance of me actually playing them.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: I suck at this game, this might not be possible without devoting more time to learning the game.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2: Not much left to do, but I'm not that good, so playing on the highest difficulty could end up being a lot of trial & error.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD: Don't know what's left.

Dishonored: Don't know what's left.

Kingom Hearts Final Mix: Gummi ship missions.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix: Optional bosses, minigames, Gummi ship stuff.

Ragnarok Odyssey ACE: Endgame grind.

Tales of Graces F: Zone Cage & side quests, maybe more.

Tales of Xillia 2: Titles, one ending, bonus dungeon.

 

There are more games, they might be added later. That said, I'm not overly concerned with my PS3 backlog. I have a PS3 game with dead servers on my account (Fifa 10) and can never complete it.
