Great pace and action sequences! Conveyed a much better Storyline too. RED 2 Rate: 5/10 Mmmm...so-so to say the least. had some funny moments too..guess that's all I can say about it. SuffyZorugelion Posted November 20, 2014 Share Posted November 20, 2014 (edited) Planet of The Apes The movie has very interesting moments, but somehow falls flat in the middle with boring dialogue, but somehow they manage to make the ending very surprising. 7/10 Beneath The Planet of The Apes Same as the first one. Has interesting sci-fi, the dialogue is painfully long at times when nothing interesting really happens and the action parts are predictable as hell. It has some funny stuff and without spoiling anything they yet again manage to end the movie in an interesting way. The writers seemed desperate to let you know how much homework they'd done which led to some terrible sections of dialogue where these supposedly elite scientists are explaining things to the others. It's obviously for the audience's benefit, which sort of breaks the immersion in the film and kills the pace. Visuals and sound are amazing though.
