mecharobot Posted May 28, 2018 Share Posted May 28, 2018 I finished watching Senran Kagura anime (+ 6 special eps and Estival OVA). Obviously there is zero reason to watch game anime unless the person is interested in the games, or so I think, so I just went in expecting some extra world building. Now I'm not an expert, but I think the plot of this anime is apparently the original story of Burst: Hanzo vs Hebijou (Homura's group) and only them. It was pretty fun timewaster, but I noticed a lot of korean names in the credits and this type of anime does not age all that well in general, when it was not a high budget anime to begin with. Guess, I'll need to triple my efforts. ? Need to finish the last couple of episodes for Kanokon!! before jumping to Kanon. Kinda old but after having watched and enjoyed Key's other works such as Clannad and Little Busters!, I thought it'd be nice to give it a chance as well. Above Air by a lott, but doesn't always hit the masterpiece Clannad, though it is the closest type of anime to Clannad. Both are masterpieces. I make sure to watch both yearly. Only need the time to watch it Angel Beats is another really good one, and was actually 1 of my first true animes(I really didn't start watching till my late 20s) Angel beats has a different feeling than Clannad or Kanon though. Rewrite... Well... It's not bad, but it is confusing. Farthest from that Clannad feel. Leave that for last. Air I will never watch again, some love it, some hate it.
