Yeah, both collectable and collectible are  accepted by dictionaries.

My professional opinion on the matter would be that collectible has a stronger tendency to be used when referring to nouns, as in collectibles or collectible items, whereas collectable makes more sense strictly in adjectival form.

Consider these examples:

"The game has many collectibles/collectables spread across three separate maps."

"The diary pages in this game are collectible/collectable."

"The diary pages in this game are collectible/collectable items."

I don't know about you, but I would use collectable only in the second sentence (if even there), and collectible in the first and third. But obviously that's just what feels right to me.

That said, the usage in the trophy guide is one of these adjectival cases, where it's denoting a quality of certain kinds of trophies, and thus collectable actually might make more sense.

Hello,

I've been using the Uncharted 4 Guide and noticed that the label for "Collectable" is misspelled. It should be updated to "Collectible". I'm not sure if this is a site wide thing or just for this guide (or if it's something I could change myself for that matter). Just thought raise it up.

Thanks!

Neanderthal is spelled with an H...

Just thought I'd raise it up ?
