Popular Post Mesopithecus
I've been following along still and loving reading all the reviews, but sadly not really felt like playing any of my games, and instead have been doing the mindless grind of Final Fantasy X and been doing some casual gaming on the side. As it is, I think I'm going to just drop out of this for now - wish everyone the best of luck with the rest of their games.

Yesterday my Two Point Hospital game crashed and it deleted my save! I only needed to get 3 stars in 2 more hospitals and the summer DLC and then I finished the game. Now I need to start all over again because there’s no way of importing my online save to the game. I’ve already started the game again, I really like it so I’ll try to complete it anyway. I’m a bit afraid this will happen again tho so I’ll be very careful when the game saves, so it doesn’t crash all over again ?. I’m sorry you lost your save and all your progress in TPH. You’re not the first person I hear this from and I’m almost at the same point in the game you were so it makes me worry about my game too. I think I’m going to make multiple backups from now on. Btw, what do you mean you can’t import your online save?

The game deleted the save and didn’t recognize the file I had on my ps4 and I couldn’t import it. I googled it and couldn’t find any way to do so, only found some frustrated comments From people on Xbox one that that had the same problem and that also started all over. So be careful and I really hope this doesn’t happen to you.
Popular Post MidnightDragon
Decided not to sign up myself this time, but I'll still be talking about what I'm doing to tackle the backlog. I've been working on Super Bomberman R. Most of the list is pretty simple, but there are several trophies that are going to be a HUGE grind, no two ways about it. Of course, those are the ones I haven't done yet. Finished the game on Expert last night...annoyed they didn't allow the difficulty to stack, but got it done. Beginner and Veteran aren't too bad, but Expert can be a serious pain in the neck. I need to win a game with the five evil Bombers. You unlock the ability to purchase them in game after beating the story once and I have one unlocked. Problem is they're 5,000 gems (game currency) each and no easy way to get more gems. Then I have to do 1,000 local battles (gotten the trophy for 100 and have done a couple since, but still a lot left to do), then blow up 1 million blocks and use 1 million bombs. This will be quite the grind.
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Weekend update from me with a bit more progress made in Yakuza 5. I finished the first part of the game and am now controlling one of the other protagonists. So far at least, the story for me has been on the same high-quality level as Yakuza 0 in terms of character development and writing. I've been hooked into this from the very beginning. This one is definitely about as big as Yakuza 0 in terms of content, it's an absolute beast of a game. Two other things that snuck up on me and pulled my attention away for a bit were The Foundation DLC for Control and the Guns, Love & Tentacles DLC for Borderlands 3. Both of which I'm really enjoying. I finished The Foundation and I had a blast every minute of it, but pretty much just left me wanting more Control (not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing ?). I've made a dent in the Borderlands 3 DLC now too, which has some pretty impressive production values put into it. In other news, the hours are counting down ever closer to the RE3 Remake and the FF7 Remake which I'm super super psyched for. Hope everyone is keeping safe & well and see you in the next update. Popular Post Copanele
Woah, been a while since I've updated my list: 1. Alice : Madness Returns - 3% 2. Mini Ninjas - 2% 3. Dragon's Dogma(PS3) - 2% -> 8%-> 35% 4. Far Cry Primal - 2% 5. One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 - 13% 6. Tekken 7 - 100% Slowly progressing through Dragon's Dogma on PS3. I went mostly for PS4 version, just to remember how this game is played. It does take a long time to complete but the experience is fun nonetheless. The quest completion trophy is a pain though (most quests are missable and are hard to do correctly even with a list) With a bit of luck I will complete the game this weekend. After that...might motivate myself and start One Piece.

Fighting EX Layer 66%➡️100% [Done on 3/29/2020] Just like in Week 2, I managed to do quite a bit. So first up was Bloodroots, now I played this back in week 1 and just never got around to playing it again after that since I was focused on other games, but I decided to go to it for this week. If you have ever played Hotline Miami before this game plays very similar to it. Try to keep the combo going as much as you can, stay moving, using as many different weapons as you can, all while trying not to die as you die in 1 hit. This game was fun! The trophies were a little tough to do but I managed and I realized that I can use the assist options for some of the trophies as well. Not for EVERY trophy in the game but some of them you were able to use the assist options. Then I decided to play Titanfall 2 next. I don't remember if I played this during the last backlog challenge or not, but I do remember playing it for one of the challenges here on PSNP. This game was really good and I'm not sure why I stopped playing it. I managed to get the hardest trophy in the game last time so i'm surprised I never stuck with it until the end. Regardless, this game was really good, and the trophies were pretty easy to get after that really hard training course trophy. Oh and while playing this, I totally forgot that all the guns in Apex originated from Titanfall. I'm dumb lol. The last two were Doom Eternal and Fighting EX Layer. For Doom Eternal, I managed to do all the Multiplayer trophies legit and it was a GRIND. Though, I'll be honest, I didn't mind it as much since I enjoyed the multiplayer. Then I went on to do the Extra Life Mode and the Platinum was mine. For Fighting EX Layer, all I had was multiplayer trophies to do and I was planning on doing a boosting session for this, but I manged to get the rest of the online trophies I needed legit and didn't need to make a online session. Then all I had to do was the training mode trophy and then I was all done! So I managed to do 8 out of the 20 games so far and i'm surprised I manged to do that many quickly. I was expecting some of the games I picked to be a little longer but guess not. I will be buying RE3 this week when it releases but don't know if i'll be playing it right away since I still haven't played RE2 yet. Still have to do some PS3 games as well as the Bioshock trilogy and those games will be awesome to go back to since Bioshock is up there for me as one of my favorite game series ever. Don't really have a plan for what game I'm gonna tackle this week but I will try to get close to one being done....I hope lol. Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Update #4: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (PS4) - 100% God of War II (PS3) - 0% Spyro 2 - Ripto's Rage (PS4) - 0% Syberia 3 (PS4) - 0% => 12% Knack (PS4) - 0% Not much progress this past week. I have mostly been focusing on other games... Warframe is back at 100% so I don't have to deal with that anymore (actually the new railjack missions are kind of fun but you do need a crew as I was barely able to finish the first mission on my own). Around mid-week I have already decided I want to play Syberia 3 next but didn't start it till today so I'm not that far in. It's a point-and-click puzzle game and a new adventure of Kate-Kate Walker from Syberia 1 and 2. It picks up not much after the first two games so it's sort of a continuation and while it's probably not necessary to play those to understand the third entry there are a few callbacks to what happened previously. I really like these type of games, they make you think, although the puzzles were easy so far and I'm not even playing on the easiest difficulty (which has additional visual effects for puzzles). There are a lot of missable trophies but I'm not using a trophy guide. I'm sure I'll miss some if I haven't already. I'm doing a completely blind run then a second clean up run. If I get stuck I will use a walkthrough guide however. I'm hoping to be into my second playthrough by next weekend. Popular Post Copanele
Monday update, another game down: 1. Alice : Madness Returns - 3% 2. Mini Ninjas - 2% 3. Dragon's Dogma(PS3) - 100% 4. Far Cry Primal - 2% 5. One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 - 13% 6. Tekken 7 - 100% Completed Dragon's Dogma for PS3 (after finishing it on PS4 the first time). A great game, worth playing it twice. Not regretting the stack at all. Now what to play next...I didn't have much mood for the backlog games as of late, focused more on my ultra rare list. I was thinking I should restart Mini Ninjas, just for some cute adventure, that game is very adorable. One Piece is dreadful, I'd postpone that one. Alice again, a very good game but I need to play it at night, and Far Cry Primal...eh, not in mood for another Ubisoft craziness. I don't think I will add any more games to the list, if I can finish these I will be happy! Best of luck to all and stay safe
Popular Post Together_Comic
Update 1 The Outer Worlds March has been a crazy month to be a PA. Haven't had a lot of spare time to do anything related to gaming to be honest, but I did manage a few hours of gaming on my first couple of days off in several weeks. The Outer Worlds has been fun. I did a speedrun following a video guide to get Super Nova difficulty out of the way and now am going back to play the game properly. I have only managed to play through the first world bit of the game where you make the power decision but I'm liking the distopian corporations vibe that the game has going for it. I particularly like the intrigue involving Eugene that you see early on. I haven't played a fall out game before, but developer obsidian makes me want to look into new vegas. I started experiencing tons of glitches, and one of them prevented me from saving or loading the game. I had to delete all of my save data which left a bad taste in my mouth. I was panning to get the platinum legitimately, but at that point I decided to use the password feature which allowed me to get all trophies in about an hour. I will certainly come back to this game sometime later, but I will likely do that on PC. I finished up Assassin's Creed II which was far better than I remembered it being, and even collecting 100 feathers wasn't too bad. Despite the glitches in Doom 64, I had a blast playing both games, and now that I have played two great games, it is time to come back to Clone Wars.
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Mid-week isolation themed gaming update from me. Made some slow trophy progress in Yakuza 5, even though the trophies are a bit slower, my actual in-game progress is pretty significant, i've managed to knock out a bunch of mini-game and side content completion requirements for the trophy that asks for 100% game completion. I'm almost at the end of part 2 of the story now, but i'm trying to get as many things out of the way in each part so i have less to mop up at the end. In other news, the RE3 remake is so so close now so i'll probably take a little break from Yakuza to get chased around a zombie infested city by a huge bio-weapon monster with a tentacle hand. A Way Out - 0% I beat Grim Fandango Remastered two nights ago because I wanted to also be able to use it for a different monthly themed challenge. Its a cute game but it seems like the bulk of the story is in the first year (possibly the first two). Everything else just seemed to zip by in an effort to reach the end. Despite its unfortunate pacing, I really enjoyed the game and am glad I finally played and beat it. I honestly have been having trouble playing PS4 games since Animal Crossing came out on the Switch. That game really swallows all of my free time. I am going to try to put some time into Bendy and the Ink Machine today & tomorrow will be playing A Way Out with one of my partners over PSN. It's a combo of when and how I've been playing it. When - hastily loading it up after a big session with another game thinking I should make progress. How - getting a massage for increased face meter gain, travelling to a drug bust underprepared (no gun), dying and starting off in the hospital with no face meter gain. (Just progress with the main story missions after a long time away you numpty!). I'm using my last swap on it because I know I've got to the "bad feeling" point re. the game and I'll need a bit of time to fall back in (without feeling I have to). There's a small chance I'll re-add it, but that would be before it's passed 30% and would come with a commitment I'm not feeling at the moment. I've swapped it with Shenmue and/or Dreamfall Chapters which I picked up in the latest PSN sale. Shenmue is a game I remember watching my mate play on the Dreamcast years and years ago. The graphics and audio are shocking in this day and age but it hasn't been affecting my enjoyment. The charm is there in abundance. Dreamfall Chapters was a purchase on price (£4.99) and because I was struggling to find new TV series to watch. It's heavily story based (choice and consequence) with long cut-scenes so I thought it would fill the TV void. Having played the 1st "book" last night, it has a real "Life is Strange" feel to it so I'm really enjoying it so far. I finished South Park: TFBW earlier in the week. The last couple of battles were a little tricky on mastermind but learning from mistakes and rejigging your skills sees you through. The collectable clean up works well if you go building to building at the end because it allows you to see the whole map and witness little bits you might have missed. My play time was about 35hrs with a bit of faff so not that short! Zero Escape: VLR is a game I have to limit my play time with because it's so good. I love the fact that I've got lots of little bits of paper with puzzle scribbles on. Highly recommend. Stay safe and take care all. I was initially intrigued by this game when it released, especially since I'm fond of narrative-based games, but I was preoccupied with other games at the time. I played Heavy Rain in the past, so I was somewhat acquainted with the works of Quantic Dream. Thus, when it was a PS+ offering in July 2019 after the fiasco of the PES game removal, I eagerly downloaded it in the hopes that it would fulfill my expectations. I felt rather ambivalent about it though after playing through a fair amount of the chapters, so I decided to shelve it until I was in the proper mood to replay it again. Here is my verdict about what I think about it currently. To begin with, let's focus on the positive aspects. The graphics in the game are absolutely phenomenal, although it can feel a bit uncanny since the characters look rather realistic. The environments are also varied enough, so I appreciated it not being confined to one or two locations. Regarding the plot, I really enjoyed the dynamics of Connor and Hank's relationship. Since this was a "good" playthrough in terms of my decisions, our relationship developed and remained resilient despite Hank being initially dismissive of Connor's presence. I liked the interactions you could have with him, they provided a nice change of pace from the other chapters of the game. Additionally, I liked how the magazine collectibles depict the world's atmosphere as browsing through those articles provided some nice insight for the state of the world. The amount of choices they provide you is versatile enough to make a considerable difference in your playthroughs as well from what I've noticed. Definitely not as shallow and meaningless as other narrative-based titles as well. However, there are some aspects I wasn't terribly fond of. The pacing of the game could feel a bit uneven at times, so that contributed to my diminished enjoyment of the game initially. I also felt like some of the real-life analogies they used didn't quite impact me the way I would have expected due to their execution, but that's a minor complaint. Kara and Markus, the two other protagonists, did not quite resonate with me the same way Connor did unfortunately. I'll just say I had a fair amount of questions about what occurred in their storylines that didn't seem to be answered sufficiently enough. Not to say they hindered my experience necessarily, but I still feel relatively ambivalent about them as a whole. Overall, I would say it is a worthwhile enough game from the one playthrough I played, but everyone's experience will differ obviously. I'll be returning to trophy clean-up in a few days for this since I feel like I need a well-deserved break, but I'll be glad to finally obtain this elusive platinum trophy. I'm planning to do some profile clean-up in the meantime and after this title, but I think I'll ideally have time to do Indivisible as well sometime this month. My list currently: (2/5 games completed) Detroit: Become Human (82% currently.) Forma 8 (Completed on 3/24/20.) Indivisible Transistor (Completed on 3/18/20.) Zone of the Enders: the 2nd Runner Swaps used: 1/2 I replaced the Sims 4 with Forma 8. Edited April 3, 2020 by VoxAnimi
Popular Post TheNazyKiller7
Update 5: The Sims 4 ( 51/51 I 100%) Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (31/49 I 46%) Limbo (12/13 I 90%) Assassin's Creed 2 (51/51 I 100%) Doom Eternal (34/34 I 100%) Doom 64 (10/10 I 100%) Resident Evil 3 Remake (0/33 I 0% >>> 20/33 I 37%) Final Fantasy VII Remake (Releasing April 10th) Instead of working on the dreadful Clone Wars, I worked on my Demon's Souls platinum while I was waiting for RE3. I couldn't put it on the list unfortunately since I already had 60% completion. I grinded Pure Bladestone for just over 5 hours, and I still didn't get it. I beat RE3 in one sitting with my in-game time being 4:35:37 which was 1.5hrs less than RE2. The fact that Capcom removed quite a bit of content from the original combined with the length of the game made this experience somewhat underwhelming. It's an amazing game, but just an okay remake. My review so far is "9/10, but I'm still disappointed". I beat RE2 over 10 times in the month of release, so I'll definitely get my 60 bucks out of this. I often contemplated very casually speedrunning RE2, but I never got around to it. I was hoping to try out running RE3 instead, but this seems to be much harder than RE2, so it's still up in the air.
