Final Fantasy VII wasn't released in 2009. :P

The information is pulled from IGDB and you can alter it there:

Metadata (Developer, Publisher, Genre, Release Date, etc):

  • We get this information from a website called IGDB.com, you can make an account there and alter any data that you find odd or wrong here! Simply make the changes there, it will have to undergo an approval process, and then it will take up to a week for the changes to show up here due to the time for their websites API to update and then PSNProfiles has to retrieve that data.

Seems like the release date on that site is refering to the release of the PS1-classic that's available for purchase on PS3, PS Vita, and PSP.

I see, it should list the version that first included the trophy support. I haven't checked the remastered version of CoD 4.

Just my two cents on that though. :)

I went ahead and added the PS4 release date on IGDB, it's waiting to be validated - the changes should appear here on the site within a week :P

I created a topic in ODDWORLD NEW N TASTY for this. The icon has changed.

Thanks, fixed! You may have to do a hard refresh of the page with Ctrl + Shift + R for your browser to show the changes ;)

Im not sure if i am in right Topic/thread but Toukiden 2 came out in NA/EU and uses the same list than jp version. So PSNP still shows jp Trophie names and is not updated to english (or other languages if available). PS4 shows trophies on english so i guess psnp just have to get the language update of the list.

If it is wrong place please tell me were i should post this.

thx

I don't know where to mention this.

There are trophy guides with japanese trophies only, at least the second one was in englisch before.

Do I have to ask the guide creator or can you do something to change the language?

That's a problem with the site's code and the guide authors can't fix it. It's already in the list of Bugs & Issues:

Games with the default language of Japanese but have English versions of the list use the Japanese version of the lists trophy titles and descriptions for the guide. Examples are the Oreshika and Catherine guides. They used to display as English on the old site.

Demon's Souls: https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/476-demons-souls

While yes, the list here is in English, when I go and look at the guide, the trophies are suddenly in... Japanese I think, or Chinese (I'm guessing Japanese though).  Something small there, but thought that one is an odd thing when the list itself shows up in English.  Not sure if that's a case there though that the guide itself needs to have the trophies in English as well from same said trophy list.

Stage 1: Learning About the Game & Guide

Hello everyone and welcome to Demon's Souls. This masterpiece exclusive-for-PS3 game is one of the toughest RPGs you will find out there. The game is hard and offers a healthy challenge for skilled and even for inexperienced gamers. Before we go into the guide, there are a few things that you should know about the game and this specific guide:

  1. The guide was created based on the Asian version of the game. It also applies for the EU and NA versions, the only small differences are different names of certain weapons and stats. The trophies are written in Japanese, but I will make sure to help you by writing the English names as well while re-directing you to every trophy.

Huh, on my end, they were in English in the normal list, but guide version, they were in Japanese.

And yet, the version my game is... isn't even that one either, so I don't have the trophy guide option there, being of course, this one: https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/475-demons-souls/DrakeHellsing (which I assume is the EU version).

But still, figured I'd still bring it up regardless, to see if said trophy names and descriptions would be changed to English or not.  Not sure on the policy about that is all.  I mean no big deal in the end.

Yea, that's why quoted it. It IS in Japanese because it was made on Asia version of the list. The list probably got rescanned when the trophies were translated.

Yea, that is the EU version, which is not Asian, which means it's not in Japanese.

That isn't possible. Trophy Guides pull the original data. That's why if it's originally a JP list, it will be in Japanese in the guide. For example the same happened here despite list being in English and it's not even shared list (Japanese list).

The same happens in Trophy Log and the latest 10 trophy bar on the profile.

Ah okay, did not actually know that myself, but hey, now I know for future references, so, thanks for clearing it up for me anyway :D

Could the PS4 tag be removed from this list, as it is only shared between the PS3 & Vita versions? https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/4178-the-treasures-of-montezuma-4/

The reason being is that the PS4 version of the game has a completely separate list, which is this one: https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/4175-the-treasures-of-montezuma-4

On Mantis Burn Racing list, two of the trophies changed their requirement and descriptions:

In Punching above your weight the description was "Beat an online opponent with an XP level 15 higher than your own" and now is "Beat an online opponent with an XP level of 15 or higher"

In The bigger they are.. the description was "Beat an online opponent with an XP level 25 higher than your own" and now is "Beat an online opponent with an XP level of 25 or higher"

As those are the only 2 trophies that you really need someone else to complete in this game (the rest of the online trophies can be done alone), it is causing confusion when people create a boosting session or add one another trying to boost it.
