Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
I've deciced to put Ship Graveyard Sim into yellow, it's on the border to orange but I think I can find a better orange (or a better yellow, maybe the game doesn't make the final card) About the game: It was somewhere between fun and okay for the first couple of ships, but it got boring really fast sadly. When it came to the grind of completiing all ships to 70% (one trophy said 90, but it also popped at 70) I didn't even play the game anymore, I just took my hammer and destroyed everything that can be destroyed by hammer, and it's enough or close to get the trophy done, no need to get the things done that need a saw or blowtorch. And if I needed a bit more I just took out my mob and cleaned up the oil puddles for quick completion. I bought the game because I saw a video about Ship Graveyard Sim 2 on YouTube, and that game looked way more fun than the first part. But sadly not on playstation. Like last time I'm just copying this over to the Bingo Bonanza, I combine the events whenever I can. This marks my Bingo square of less than 1000 players, the game has 477 owners according to the psnp stat.

Box: Purple Game: "Tinykin" Feels like a solid purple, so that's where it goes! Haha, I guess I am skirting the line but it still looks pretty pink to me. Also, I am coincidentally playing Tinykin right now so it is good to get the official confirmation that it counts as purple. Update! Green Lil Gator Game: That Lil Gator sure is green. Fun game that gives you the feels.
Popular Post Sylvanticore
What is this? The panda is making up for the fact he didn't finish last years by getting another game done already? That is correct! Last night I finished Choo Choo Charles and now I am finished another and this time it's Poppy's Playtime: Chapter 1 which I have placed into Blue because Mr Huggie Wuggie is a nice shade of BLUE! I might place him in Light Blue later on to replace the Dredge DLC but I'll see after I finish some more games as he does little a bit lighter than normal Blue.

You sure like horrific abominations! As for myself, I finally got my quota done for the month. My plan is to try to get a fourth of the card done each month and I finally got four out of sixteen colors for January. I won't be platinuming any more games in this category for the rest of the month as I will be too busy with my Platinum Rain challenge as well as trying to keep my unspeakables from turning into ice cubes due to this sudden cold wave that has hit most of the United States. 😛 But here is my next update: Red: Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily (PS5 version) Pink: Eventide 2: Sorcerer's Mirror Light Blue: Ape Escape (PS4 version) Deep Purple: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 (Vita) The reason I did the Vita version of LEGO Harry Potter was because I already had gotten the PS4 version of the game done and the game image was drenched in deep indigo so it made the cut. However, I do not recommend this game. You're required to complete all entries in the Dueling Club, and dueling in this game is a pile of hog sh**, requiring you to wait for the enemy to attack because they'll always block your attack and play ping-pong. If you hated Phantom Ganon in Ocarina of TIme, you'll DESPISE this game. The only reason I tolerate this was because I played it while going on my exercise walks, so it was a fitting distraction. Sadly, the soundtrack was lackluster, recycling the same six tracks during levels. At least it was better than the Nintendo DS version of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4! Now I have to go finish off LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga... on both versions. 😭 EDIT: I plan on replacing some games, so the card will be edited appropriately and replace the card on this post when I get to it. I can't figure out what on your card is done, and what is just projected/planned. could you either remove the games that are not yet finished, and only add them once complete, or add some kind of obvious "checkmark" or "X" over the ones that are done, so it's possible to track please? I'm sorry. I thought I put it in properly. I'll go and recreate the current card and remove the games I haven't finished yet. To be honest, the games I had planned may be replaced so putting them on prematurely was a mistake. For the record, the games I had completed had their platinum trophy icon replacing the game image but I guess that was sort of a mistake as it goes against the theme. Oops, sorry! EDIT: I replaced the image in my update post with the new card. I hope that clears things up. Edited January 16 by ProfSeajay7

Popular Post cstanci
Update #1!! Knocked out 2 games I have had my eye on and wanted to finish them before they left PS Plus. Light Blue - OMNO. Absolutely gorgeous game and just relaxing to play (minus a small handful of annoying jumps/platforms). Black - The Missing: JJ Macfield and the Island of Memories. Ended up LOVING this game more than I thought I would. Loved the whole creepy vibe and the story ended up being absolutely wonderful. Had to use a collectible guide for all those stupid donuts but wow - what a game! No idea what is next. Working on LEGO 2k Drive but that's going to take a while. May mix a few other things in.
ProfSeajay7
I'm having a lot of trouble finding game images with tan in the majority of the image. The only one I know of which I would like to play is Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and I am saving that for my platinum rain day challenge. What would be a good easy to do but somewhat interesting to play game with a game image that has a tan color? (I might do four cards this year, which is why I am doing four games a month.) Also, I don't think this would count as there are too many colors in the image... Edited January 16 by ProfSeajay7

ProfSeajay7
Okay, I might try that. I know a lot of people went crazy with the Portal series but I really didn't like the story and characters, this might be less crazy.

Here’s my first card so far. Like many others I saved Spyro 3 for the new year. It was fun, with some frustrating parts (skateboarding), but I wish the game actually needed to be 100% completed like the first two. I think I ended up with 75% my the time platinum popped and, while I’m happy to not have to do the skateboarding and flying sections, it does seem a shame that there isn’t much of a challenge. Spyro 2 is my favourite of the trilogy, Spyro 3 seems a bit cluttered and the level designs are more boring. I finally got around to Firewatch for the Cozy Game event. It was an alright story, I preferred other walking sims like What Remains of Edith Finch and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, but it was still an intriguing story. I couldn’t get on with Delilah, I know some people love her and hope for her and Henry to meet, but I ended up ignoring any romantic/flirty dialogue. Finally, I saw that The Missing was highly recommended amongst the games leaving plus extra this month so I thought I’d give it a try. It’s a very well made puzzle platformer, the puzzles are a little easy, but getting all donuts and sleepys was a good challenge. The story was excellent though, it’s told through a series of texts from the protagonist’s friends and I thought it did a great job of building the mystery. The puzzles are involved but not overly difficult and the story is well told.

Also, I am working on my Grey game because I realized that a year is divided 4x3, not 4x4, so the games I want to do for each quarter are 5/6/5. Oops, I needed a fifth game for January. No offense but why are you stressing yourself out? I also see this event as a fun way to find new games to play but don't have a certain number of cards in mind. Even though I didn't finish a single card last year I personally think it was a success. But of course, you do you, don't get me wrong. If you want to have the extra challenge, good luck! In addition to the already mentioned games you are aware of 2023's color choice list? Might be another resource to find a game for a specific color: On 12/31/2023 at 2:29 PM, Xylobe said: [...] https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UZtAHZuZYSZP3fkxS0D1Q069yT_lkgG4xND55mFixKs/edit?usp=sharing [...] (also linked in the OP)
Popular Post ProfSeajay7
Okay, I understand. I promise not to stress out, just set goals so I don't procrastinate. Thanks for the link, it'll help me a lot. Anyways, just got my next game up. Red: Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily (PS5 version) Pink: Eventide 2: Sorcerer's Mirror Light Blue: Ape Escape (PS4 version) Deep Purple: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 (Vita) Gray: Toem Toem is a nice relaxing game where you take photos of stuff and help people with photos. The goal is to reach the top of a mountain which is the only source of color because the entire world is black and white. Sort of like this challenge. There is also a DLC island, but the trophies aren't too hard to get in that DLC except for maybe the one requiring you to get tickets if you decide to do the rhythm mini game. That's why this game wasn't put on my secondary account.

Just a quick note - I'm perfectly happy for you to use Alan Wake II for red if you wish, as it fits fine - but given that Maroon can often be a tougher colour to fill, you might want to consider using it in that spot if you don't have another Maroon planned, as it was decided last year is is good for that box too! Popular Post Duke_Ryle
Fourth game done and it is Little Nightmares fitting perfectly into the blue spot. This is a really great game. An absolute masterpiece of surreal horror and environmental storytelling. The no deaths speedrun trophy can be kind of a bear and you can make a lot of platforming mistakes but it is definitely doable, especially if you use cloud saves or checkpoint reloads to mitigate some of the mistakes. Four games into this year and all of them have been outstanding in my opinion, hoping for this trend to continue.
