Popular Post Yen-Pop
First entry babyyyy! Though I guess I shouldn't be too pleased yet since some of y'all already have a couple games done already 😳 Knocked out Brown with The Wild at Heart, which was just so damn delightful. It was like if Pikmin, Knights on Bikes, and an eldritch horror were thrown into a folksy blender. For such a short game they really pack in a lot of world building and lore, and I really loved my time with it. It was a nice pallet cleanser after months and months of Yakuza 0 haha! Hoping to keep the train rolling with a couple indie games before I throw myself into another long RPG. Spoiler White: Yellow: Tan: Orange: LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Red: Cult of the Lamb: Sins of the Flesh DLC Pink: Maroon: Purple: Deep Purple: SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake Blue: PowerWash Simulator Light Blue: Roki Green: Light Green:We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie Brown: The Wild at Heart Grey: Black Edited January 18 by Yen-Pop
jh7459
Maybe I'm just dense, but how are people adding the game images to the color grid image and keeping the formatting? Like the little white squares in the corners, etc. Edited January 4 by jh7459 Update

Popular Post Breakingthegreen
Hello again friends, I'm going to have a slower start this year because of reasons and stuff. But that doesn't mean I'm giving up. Hell yeah Breakingthegreen will live up to their name and start with the green. And also what better choice for the Kaleidoscope event than a game by developers Kaleidoscube, it's A Juggler's Tale! (Definitely not a huge coincidence since this game was only three quid this week.) A Juggler's Tale is a fairly interesting puzzle platformer where you play as a string puppet and if you know anything about metaphors and... well... what a puppet is, you could probably guess how the game will end. But in this game the story is being narrated my famous poet Shaun Lawton in rhyming couplets which is a real charming thing, like a voiced version of Child of Light. The game has simple wooden doll looking models, which contrast with absolutely beautiful 3D backgrounds and the music is also pleasent with a special mention to the song number in act III. The gameplay has an interesting gimic where your strings get tangled in items above you, this has more depth than you'd expect since underpasses may block you, but puzzle items can get past. The narrative has some pretty open ended themes which get really ramped up by the ending, and depending on how pretentious you are could range from abusive family to totalitarian dictatorships. Now I got some spoilery thoughts: Spoiler First of all here's a relevent clip from Doctor Who: So in that out of place opening, it shows that the game is a puppet show being shown in a pub. But that begs the question: What the hell was going on to the story teller while he was having an enormous extensional breakdown... I'd have payed to see it. I do think it's pretty good and would recommend it to fans of Inside, but this game is only about 1.5 - 2 hours long with no replayablity which is it's only major weakness for it's regular asking price. JammyWizard
Count me in! My first game(s) this year will hopefully be Metal Gear & Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, the only question I have is this; what colour does it suit best? 😅
Popular Post D4T-V4UL7_HUN7R_
Alrighty, Im kicking off my first card with Kingdoms of Amalur Re-reckoning in the RED square. After wanting to play this game for a long time Im glad I finally got around to it. Its a pretty solid rpg from the ps3 era, nothing super fancy but kept me entertained throughout the holidays. I did find it a bit frustrating there is no jump button. Sometimes I would have to run around half the map to get off a ledge that in most other games you could just hop down 😆 7/10
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
I'm starting the year off with and since white is just a combination of every other color, I'm using it as my red game of course FF12 is the first and only game of the final fantasy franchise I've played so far, although I'm planning to play FF16 next. I really like the game, I had a blast. The speed up feature is great for grinding out all the RNG that's in the game, the only negative I have about it. I think a lot of people don't like that the strategie happens in the menu, setting up all the gambits and not during actual gameplay, but to each their own. This also marks my bingo square "originally released without trophies" - just saying that because I'm quoting this over later
Limitedsphere
I'd like to sign up! It seems fun. Especially because of your writing. I really enjoyed the style and tone. So I'll participate and see if I can find some game images in colors other than Black.
Popular Post Doodlebawp
Here's my proposed card for 2024. This would require me to actually clean up a lot of my older games which will be a first for me 😂. Given my tendency to drop games early for newer ones, I'm sure this list will change quite a bit between now and completion. Street Fighter 6 is the biggest wildcard on this here. Getting those tournament wins will be a massive pain. LEGO 2K Drive doesn't seem too bad but we'll see. Several of the final trophies are in the "ultra rare" category. And if anyone is looking for a good game for purple - Tinykin is free on PS Plus. A fun indie game that doesn't overstay its welcome!
Popular Post damcrac5
First one is in the bag and it started with a bang! Already making great progress on title number two (MLB The Show 23). I hope the event encourages me to play games I've always wanted to play, but felt they weren't a priority. I usually end up enjoying them more when I didn't expect to play them.

It should be fixed now as others pointed out already. I do not think I will be joining this year, but thanks for doing another iteration of this very popular and fun event. The tool will stay online of course, as people seem to be enjoying it. Edited January 6 by pinkrobot_pb
Popular Post ProfSeajay7
Progress: Red: Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily (PS5) Pink: Eventide 2: Sorcerer's Mirror So the first two games on my card are Artifex Mundi titles, but they fit the bill. (And yes, Eventide 2 should count as Pink as the sunset sky is a pinkish-orange color.) You have to do a 75% playthrough for the platinum in Eventide 2 because one trophy requires you to do the story again but choose the opposite action in five scenarios. I picked the 'evil' action(making orange tokens) in the 100% playthrough and 'good' actions(purple tokens) in the second one, and you get the platinum once you hit the final scenario(giving the imp the necklace, in the bad guy's manor, the first three are in the first area and the fourth is just before the manor and determines what potion you make). It's not a long title but it's one of the earlier titles so you have to play on Expert Difficulty the first time, which is not difficult as it is annoying as you can't spam-click on the hidden object puzzles. Crime Secrets and future titles really dropped the ball but not forcing you to do Expert Difficulty, but I can understand the developers wanted to make the point-and-clicks more accessible.

KunoGuy
@DrBloodmoney Sign me up, I've been meaning to join this challenge. Looking forward to getting that badge swag. I just beat it before signing up, but I could beat the PS4 version, just wondering what color you all would think Aerial Knights Never Yield would be? The PS4 tile seems more a Light Blue to me though. Just to be clear though - just in case it isn’t - if that PS5 version was finished after the 1st of January, then it’s eligible, whether you had “signed up” or not!

Popular Post Biscoito18
1st Card🌈 My first update of the year! I had already finished both inFamous: First Light and Donut County's main campaign in 2023, but I still had to unlock their most difficult trophies, especially the arenas of inFamous: First Light, which ended up being much easier than I thought. Marsupilami: Hoobadventura was a good surprise. The free DLC, which I'm using as Dark Purple, may seem small because there are only 2 trophies, but it's actually a harder and longer challenge than the main game. And finally, Enigmatis 3 was as easy, fun and fast as the other two before it. I love these games. --- Marsupilami: Hoobadventure --- --- --- inFamous: First Light --- Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala The Hidden World (Marsupilami: Hoobadventure DLC) --- --- --- Donut County --- --- ---
