Popular Post REDSHIRT64
#45 Dead Nation I got this game in 2011 for free from PSN when the network was brought back up. My initial impression of this game was not very good so I stored it on the shelf for the better part of 2 years. BUT when I picked this game back up again ( obsessed with cleaning up my backlog as much as possible ) I found myself completely immersed in the game. The graphics are rather well done and the game moves at quite a nice pace. The controls are smooth, although I wish that damn standard rifle was automatic as my hands would cramp up spamming L1 to fire constantly. I think the length of the game is perfect for the style of gameplay. Any longer and it would have felt tedious. The story really lacks any substance, but makes up for it in pure zombie slaying fun. Morbid difficulty is not that hard once you know the spawn points and especially once you have access to the launcher, blade cutter and shocker. Big thanks to lx_TheDude_xl and BMJ14772 for their help on the coop trophy. Time to tackle the Road to Devastation DLC! Plat Difficulty: 7.5/10 - This style game is not for everyone Fun Factor: 9/10 - Thoroughly enjoyed this game

Popular Post freddie1989
Tomb Raider One of the best games I have played for a long time, spot on single player, multiplayer could be better but pretty dead so maybe I didn't get the best experience. Would recommend to anyone for the SP alone though! Rugby World Cup 2011 Considering I went into this not completely knowing the rules of rugby, I now understand it fully and had tonnes of fun with this game although the final play 100 games trophy is tiresome. Overall a good game!!

Popular Post SitusKiss
# 133 Bioshock Earned by 18,521 of 148,166 PS3 game owners I received this game free with the copy of Bioshock Infinite that I purchased. I figured I may as well start with the 1st game, right? I have only recently started getting into first-person games so I am still a little hesitant to fire up a new one. I started my journey with the intention of doing 2 playthroughs... the 1st was on Normal difficulty.I found this game to be pretty tough right off the bat. I quickly realized this was not going to be your typical shooter (that i've become accustomed to anyway). The game focuses heavily on melee and "magic"-like abilities called Plasmids and Tonics. While you don't really get into the "magic" stuff right away, you have to learn how to defend yourself with your wrench and mobility. The guns you have access to in the beginning aren't that good and I found it awkward to use them. The game starts slow and difficult IMO. However, once you get far enough into the story to get the research camera, things start balancing out. I struggled on my Normal playthrough... i'm sure it was just getting used to how the game works, learning about the in-game features/"magic"/enemies/whatever and tracking down all the collectibles by searching every nook and cranny. I found all but 7 of the audio files without a guide (so they aren't all that tough to locate). Enemies will reappear in areas so if you do alot of backtracking, you will have a bunch more fighting to do. The story was pretty interesting (albeit a little confusing during the 1st playthrough) and had a nice amount of surprise throughout. My chief "technical" complaint was the audio. There is a lot of ambient noise in the game and the NPC enemies constantly talk to themselves. It was difficult to hear several of the key story elements over your in-game radio... I would advise turning subtitles on and tweaking the audio settings a bit to make them more more prominent. The trophy list was a bit intimidating and overwhelming when I started the game. There are some things to consider as far as getting all the Tonics/Plasmids like not upgrading your Health and EVE all the way so you have enough ADAM to purchase all the required Tonics/Plasmids for their respective trophies. There is a DLC pack available for $9.99 that adds some puzzle-like extra content. There are 3 main "missions" that you can tackle; each have their own trophy requirements and collectibles. I didn't think the DLC was quite worth the price tag but, it was still pretty fun. It played a little differently than the base game so it added to the overall experience. Overall, I would recommend the game. Platinum Difficulty: 7/10 Overall Enjoyment: 5/10 Video of Platinum: Link to video on YouTube # 134 LittleBigPlanet Karting Earned by 3,743 of 98,474 PS3 game owners I went into this game thinking it was going to be an easy platinum and planned to do the multiplayer with a couple friends. I started off with the multiplayer and went through the trophy requirements fairly quickly. We had quite a bit of fun doing random community levels together I'd like to send out a big thank you to Rowdi1 and REDSHIRT64! As always, you guys made the game much more enjoyable! Now onto the single player... IMO, I can sum it up with 1 word... garbage. This may seem harsh and I do have a bit of a negative feeling toward racing games in general anyway. I just didn't see that this game could be so frustrating and not very fun (single player only). I got the feeling that Media Molecule was looking for a way to test some interns out, gave them the base packages for the character models, access to the tutorial voice-overs, level editor, and let them do the entire game. When it was all done, they did some QA inspections for bugs, slapped their name on it and hoped they would make some money off the LittleBigPlanet name. Terrible... just, terrible. The story was forced and non-existent (wasn't really expecting much anyways). The levels were decent but, then they threw in all the side levels that were exactly the same as the main story levels with a "VS" in the title... wtf? The AI had serious advantages - even on Casual difficulty - where they would spawn ahead of you and get speed boosts from seemingly nowhere. I also felt like I was the only one being targeted by any of the weapons flying around. It was all I could do to muster the motivation to get through each of the levels... I really did not enjoy having to repeat all the levels multiple times for the prize bubbles Collecting the prize bubbles was just a worthless add-on to the already terrible experience. After the 2nd planet, I broke down and purchased the Time-Saver pack from the PSN store, for $2.99, so all I had to do the rest of the game was finish 1st in each of the (side)levels. I finished the game feeling quite unsatisfied and disappointed. The whole game felt like a shitty version of Super Mario Kart from the N64 with a ton of garbage thrown in for good measure. It wasn't all bad... the levels were quite intricate in design but, that's really the only good thing I found in the single player, haha. Personally, I would not recommend this game. Popular Post the_bx
Because I believe I earned them both within the same day . . . #69 God of War: Ascension Champion of the Gods Unlock all Trophies What can I say? It's another God of War game. Blood will be spilled. Heads will be crushed. Limbs will be severed. And, there will be many angered roars throughout. Kratos is just that kind of guy. Even though I run through all the games in this series, I felt this one wasn't as short as God of War III. However, it was nowhere near as epic as the previous (I mean, how could it be? You slay the entire Greek pantheon). Despite this, I enjoyed it. It adds some new combat mechanics with the elemental weapons and it seemed smoother, with combat being even more fluid than the others, even with all the combo button mashing and weapon switching (which, for me, was primarily only between two -- Flames of Ares and Souls of Hades). The new Elephant enemy seemed out of place (I never heard of those in the Odyssey), but cutting his brain out (for a trophy, no less!) was entertaining. Overall, the game was far less difficult than the previous ones and everything can be acquired from a single playthrough on Hard. Just be sure to download the game update, it'll make the three round trial near the end much easier . . . Oh, and with all the tits, I found it mildly amusing and applicable that this game was #69 for me. Hellooooo, nurse. #70 Assassin's Creed: Revelations The Conqueror Get Every Trophy The final game in the Ezio trilogy, and Ezio is a beast. It is somewhat amusing, though, since he is somewhere near my grandparents' age doing these amazing feats in this game. As with all the titles, I thought the scenery was beautiful and well-rendered. I do not think much has to change with these games, as they've got a good formula for them, and only minor improvements were made in certain areas that really only made this game better than its predecessor, in my opinion. Some sequences will likely require a few tries to attain full synchronization, but nothing impossible. If anything, everything in this title I considered bearable solely on the fact that you were only required to reach Level 20 in MP, as opposed to Level 50 or a ridiculous amount of bonuses in a single match (Wtfux, Ubisoft) like in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Really, everything is manageable, which allows it to maintain its fun factor. While I do not care too much for the Desmond Sequences (I'm really not sure where they were trying to go with them), I'm looking forward to completing the DLC and possibly getting more clarity on some things before moving onto the next game in the series. Popular Post Toxi
#67 KnackUltimate KnackReceived all trophiesPersonally I enjoyed playing Knack, saying that the game is basically just an average brawler with decent graphics and a nice soundtrack. As a launch game it's fine, but I'm sure it will be forgotten about when better exclusives arrive. The trophies are fairly easy with the exception of any related to obtaining Diamond Knack, which are quite frustrating as it takes an unnecessary amount of luck with the chests. Overall fun enough, as long as you don't go into it looking for a platform game. Edited January 25, 2014 by ToxiKirby

Popular Post ClaireFarronXVII
Lollipop Chainsaw Legendary Zombie Hunter This game may be a hit-or-miss for most people the gameplay isn't the best but the game makes up for it with it's sense of humor and originality. The jokes are over the top and ridiculous (in a good way) and the soundtrack is pretty good too. Overall I had fun with this game
