Popular Post RebelsHeart
Platinum #148 + #149 - Heavy Rain PS3 + PS4 I had the sudden urge to replay Heavy Rain Very questionable, I know :') and of course I had to be extra and plat both versions! They were both unfinished stacks for the longest time, as you can see! I'm glad to say I finally got it over with! Playing through the story again was fun. Though you can definitely can tell it didn't age well. The game was alright. Controlled way better on PS3, which makes sense Getting all the endings wasn't as bad as I thought it would Just a bit tedious Anyways, it was alright Never again though

Popular Post Jermster_91
#173 Lego Marvel's Avengers Lego Marvel's Avengers follows the events of some of the early MCU films into Lego as you play through the mission to collects all the gold bricks, characters, minikits, etc. The Trophy guide for this game list it as 40 hours for the base game, but took me 26 hours based on the save file and 30 hours according to the PS5. The game is fun overall, but felt a little tedious going around Manhattan for instance to get all the collectibles there. The game is fun and a pretty easy platinum to get if you don't mind getting all the collectibles along the way.
Popular Post Moridin83
# 310 Cotton 100% I like shmups. I also suck at shmups, so when I tell you this is a fun little title that shouldn't cause much trouble, that means something. There's no 1cc requirement, and the toughest trophies, for getting certain scores, are relatively easy. It is a retro title, so don't expect much graphically, but it does the trick and is charming in its own right. The one gameplay hint I would give is to avoid all the bonus items at the end of stages. The hidden bonus for not collecting any of them is way more than the points they give. Other than that, boss patterns are simple, and you can practice using the rewind feature in the standard mode, so you'll know what you're doing before you go to challenge mode. Overall, a fun game, and an easy recommendation if you like shmups and retro titles.
Popular Post Carol
#250 The Last of Us Part I It can’t be for nothing Collect all trophies Even though I think that Part II is a brilliant game (although almost overwhelmingly dramatic), the original game will always touch me in a different and special way. I will never forget how I felt when I finished this story for the first time. I don’t exactly agree with all these remasters; I actually think they are a bit ridiculous and just a way to make money, especially considering that the PS4 version of TLOU can be played on the PS5. Nevertheless, TLOU will always be my favorite game and, in fact, I have always wanted the platinum to become one of my milestones, but it just didn’t happen. So, when I was approaching my 250th platinum, I knew the time had come. At least, this second remaster was useful for me in some way. I think it’s a shame that platinums for PS exclusives are becoming easier and easier. There are so many TLOU veterans around and it would be delightful if Grounded was necessary for the platinum. Grounded mode is frustrating, but, at the same time, so satisfying and you really feel you are learning to play the game the way it should be played. I think it’s the true way of experiencing TLOU. To my disappointment, there aren’t any difficulty trophies, not even some extra ones not needed to achieve the platinum. Accessibility is fine, but why make trophy lists accessible to everyone, when most people don’t even care about trophies?! Anyway, I will always love replaying “The Last of Us”. Even though there’s still a lot of work to be done in the world, I think humans will always resonate better with love than with hatred, so that’s probably why the original game is so universally loved and the sequel so much more controversial.

Popular Post shadaik
Plat #151 - 100% 232 Last Stop All Done Unlock all trophies PS4 Last Stop is one of the games leaving Plus Extra on the 21st, so I went and played it before that. Spoiler warning: I shouldn't have done that. But one thing after the other. London, 1982: A pair of kids run from the police after having stolen a police helmet. The chase leads through subway tunnels, sewers, and a couple of tunnels that are there for no apparent reason at all other than to end in a mysterious green portal that occassionally turns up in a deadend. The two friends get separated, one entering such a portal with the other backing off. Cut to "current day", probably March 2020, following some dates given as being in the past. The first day is probably March 5th, 2020, with the other episodes playing out over the course of one week, one timeline hiccup aside. We follow three storylines, intertwined by almost nothing. They play out in parallel, but aren't really connected by anything. A few minor characters appear in several stories, but that's it, really. Aside from the final chapter, but we'll get to that. This game is an unusual episodic game. I'm trying to avoid it as a choice-driven narrative game, because pretending the choices in here are actual choices would be hyperbole. We only get to make choices in situations where our choices don't matter. Whenever a choice actually matters, you'll be thrown into its consequences after the actual choice was made for you in a cutscene. Oh, well, maybe this is alleviated by the stories being good, then? Well, no. Before I get into that, a bit more on structure. The episodes play out a bit different form what we're used to. Each of the storylines has six chapters and in order to play any story's second chapter, all of the first chapters have to be done, and so on. This does mean we cannot play through one character's story in one go, we always have to switch characters to continue. Almost an exciting shot. Almost. Paper Dolls revolves around two men. John, a balding pushover loser, and Jack, a prick. John also has a daughter, Molly, who is essentially Clementine from The Walking Dead if Telltale had terrible writers. The focus here is John, who leads the dullest life this side of the Vogon homeworld, until during an encounter caused by Jack being the worst prick one could imagine, complaining at a man he ran into by not watching where he's going. The man curses Jack and, for some reason, John. Now they have switched bodies. Sounds interesting? Trust me, it isn't. It's all just very dull. Internal Affairs follows Meena, a worker at some military company building robots. The problem with here is that the player keeps getting thrown into situations where Meena knows exactly what's up, but the player doesn't, making it next to impossible to play as them and select appropriate dialogue choices. I mean, the very first scene finds us in some kind of interview. Is it a job interview, an interrogation, a psych exam? When we don't know, how are we expected to know what answers to pick for their questions. Immediately after that, we show up at someones's doorstep and once more, we don't know why she's there and which are the appropriate options in this situations. This happens a lot in this storyline. And then we have the one that has stuff actually happen, Stranger Danger, featuring a girl named Donna. In this one, we get it all right from the beginning: Aliens, strange portals, our "heroes" kidnapping someone, people disappearing... Alright! That finally sounds interesting. But don't you worry, the developers manage to make even this impressively dull. Only in the last chapter do they all meet. Their stories up to that point are mostly unimportant, but at least the pace finally picks up. Still not enough to keep a caffeinated squirrel awake, but it's getting close. In the end, I do think the story has a point. What that is, is harder to determine. I'd say it's something about dealing with the past, but if it is, this game sends confusing and contradicting messages. I though, maybe it's something about letting go of the past, but that clashes with what the villain of Donna's story is doing. The concept does show up a few times too often to be ignored, but ultimately, nothing coherent comes from it. In other words: This game is just bad. At least it was short and easy. Honestly, compared to this, Telltale games are a challenge. But I could have done without ever playing this. At least it can't hurt me anymore Game: 3/10 List: 4/10 Difficulty: 1/10 Time: 7 hours
Popular Post disaster500
#111 - My Friend Pedro - 3.16% Personal Difficulty - 5/10 Time Played - 13 hours My Friend Pedro is an interesting hybrid between a shoot 'em up and a platformer. You play as an unnamed guy who wakes up in the basement of a shady butchery, but luckily a talking banana called Pedro appears, and he tells you to kill some people. Got it? My Friend Pedro's gameplay is all about style. Each level consists of basic platforming challenges, with plenty of enemies to kill scattered throughout the level. You have some basic guns (pistols, SMGs, shotgun etc), and you have to platform through each level with some basic movement and walljumps whilst shooting enemies with said guns. The fun of the game comes from a focus/bullet time mechanic where you can slow down time, and the ridiculous stuff it enables. You can walljump and shoot two people in the air simultaneously with split aimed, dual wielded SMGs. You can shotgun blast an enemy's head off, and kick it into another enemy's head, killing them too. You can kick a frying pan into the air, shoot it to ricochet the bullets into enemies, and then kick the frying pan into another enemy. After each level you get a score, and to get points you kill enemies in stylish ways, plus kill them quickly to get combos. You can combo enemies through a whole level, very satisfying to pull off for those S ranks. I do have some complaints though. While a lot of the levels are great, some (mainly found in the latter half of the game) are gimmicky and annoying. And I also don't like the rolling, it feels really inconsistent at times (and being down-left/down-right on the left analog stick doesn't help). I still thoroughly enjoyed the game though. Trophy list is pretty simple. You just beat the game, get some easy miscellaneous trophies, and get S rank on every level. The S ranks are obviously the hardest part, and can be tricky in some levels. A lot of the levels will require most enemies killed in one combo without dying. A few levels (platforming/boss levels) have no enemies and the S ranks are basically time trials. None of the S ranks took me longer than 30-40 minutes though, so they're definitely not too bad. Overall, My Friend Pedro was a fun UR platinum, with a bit of challenge in a few of the S ranks. I recommend the game if it sounds fun to you (go watch some gameplay), and it leaves PS Plus in a few weeks, so start it soon. I did have a strange issue where I couldn't download the game, so I instead had to stream it (didn't have any problems with streaming though). Maybe if you have Extra instead of Premium, you wouldn't be able to play it at all. Edited May 5 by disaster500

Popular Post crowizard
Platinum #119 and no better way to welcome 6000th trophy milestone than platinuming Ikaruga. Fun 9/10 Difficulty 10/10 I have to admit that this game surprised me in terms of story lore it has. Havent expected that in a game like this one. Platinum is easily the hardest one I ve ever obtained and tops SF IV, Splasher, SMB and Wolf 2 because it is just on another level of insanity. It took a great amount of learning, studying every second every stage and becoming better in game. Determination always pays off. Like in game intro says: "Even though the ideal is high I never give in".

Popular Post Laxus
#422 - Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition Got the platinum in Devil May Cry 5 and man was this was one annoying. The annoyance comes from beating the game 7 times...... which 5 of those runs had to be done with s ranks. Outside of that i enjoyed everything else about the game. Dante Must Die S Ranks and Hell and Hell S Ranks really tested my patience with bullshit. I died on mission 8 with nero many times for the most stupid reasons. And the moment i actually beat that stupid mission without getting hit i actually managed to also get the required 5500 Style points for that mission, meaning in that run i could die at least 2 times but of course i did not. And this happened a lot for some reason..... And of course after getting those s ranks you had to do bloody palace..... Bloody palace is basically a survival mode with 101 waves.... With 20, 40, 60, 80, 90, 98, 99, 100 and 101 being bosses..... Seriously why has every game i touch a survival mode, this needs to stop..... Not that bloody palace was hard, doing it 4 times however is tiresome. As for the characters, they are awesome. With the newcomers nico and v the game got two new awesome characters. What also is funny is that some ideas from dmc devil may cry (the reboot with f u dante) were taken over to the new games. I mean just for an example Nero looks similar to reboot Dante. They even share some personality traits, Nero however is by far not as bad as the reboot Dante and overall the better character. Going away from the reboot my favourite character by far is Vergil, with Dante a close second. The dynamic and rivalry between the sparda brothers is the still one of the coolest and funniest things i saw in video games. With Vergil being more stoic and serious and Dante being childish and playful, their interactions are most of the time hilarious. There is only one last thing to add. For anyone wondering how the hell Vergil got a child (Nero), those were the moves that made Neros mom fall in love with Vergil (source trust me bro). Popular Post MakotoKaCun
Platinum # 130 1Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny Rune Factory Master Finally achieved the platinum for this classic game. It took me a while, with other commitments popping up, but I'm glad I finally had the time to complete it. Sharing some thoughts on the game, given its legacy status on PS3, it's not without its issues and bugs. The game itself lacks refinement, yet it remains a solid farming RPG experience. Given its PS3 origins, expect a fair amount of grinding to unlock most trophies. However, I did have my fair share of enjoyable moments. While the story isn't groundbreaking, it offers a fun adventure. There's not much else to say about the game, but if you're a fan of Harvest Moon with combat elements, it's worth a try. On a side note, if I were to offer a tip, I'd recommend crafting the legendary staff once you have the chance. Trust me, it's incredibly overpowered.

Popular Post GhostxxOkami666
#151 Stellar Blade Remember seeing this in the ps5 reveal showcase and thought it looked interesting. This completely surpassed expectations and was very impressed with it. The game is fun and enjoyable and wasn't that hard on normal which was nice it was the right challenge. The story could of been better but for the most part it was good. The side content was the bulk of the game and it was just fun exploring the levels. The music was top tier and really did remind me of nier was was great. Really hope a sequel is made as what's here is interesting and could be expanded upon.
