Popular Post Darghel
#220 Resident Evil Remake Difficulty: Hard was hard. Real Survival was harder! Time to Complete: Around 44 hours split into several playthroughs Recommended: Yes! Total score: 9/10 Well, it was a matter of time until I would get a proper resident evil again, despite only having the plat for the remake of 2, which was a while ago. Regardless, I still had that horror mood, and nothing beats a horror game, than the game that properly launched the horror genre - not "made" because that honor is given to the original alone in the dark, but as someone said it: "It's not about who does it first, but who does it better!". And Resident Evil definitely nails it! So, Resident Evil Remake is, obviously, a remake of the original game in practically every aspect: almost everything was changed to the point of being completely new, new puzzles were added, new rooms were made, new enemies were introduced, new weapons, new events, EVERYTHING is made new here! It's so made new that as a long time player of the original game, I would often get confused on what to do, such as "Why doesn't the dogs appear?" or "why does this item is here and not there?" and so on. It does a great job at confusing older players, but also making them want to re-learn the layout. This game is remake done to perfection...almost. Now, I liked the many changes to the game, but there's only one thing that bothers me to no end: the addition of Crimson Heads. Who are Crimson Heads? They're dead zombies who revived and are now twice as dangerous, fast, and harmful, and they're essentially a trap for you if you aren't careful at dispatching the right zombies in the right places. The only way to eliminate them is to either burn them after dying or decapitate them, which is easier said than done considering you're extra limited in fuel to burn them! This mechanic, while interesting and innovative, is also quite a chore at higher difficulties due to how you can never kill any zombie unless you need to get rid fo them, which can be a problem in some areas. Obviously, you can kill zombies in rooms you'll never return, but using ammo is a waste, so I usually leave...but then they chase you outside the room, and now you have 3 zombies in a tight corridor, instead of 2. And on hard+ difficulties, the timer is SUPER short, about 5 to 10 minutes, barely enough to grab your fuel and burn them! And if they come alive, that's ammo you're wasting! And all would be simple if I could eliminate them without issues! Ironically, after the mansion, and going into the garden and lab, the game is much easier and becomes less of a chore since you don't deal with zombies, but only hunters and chimeras...yes, hunters and chimera (and even dogs to a certain degree) were much easier to handle, than zombies! At least they don't grapple you! Other than that, I have nothing to say: it's a great remake, the many challenges are great, the many endings, the weapons, the speed runs, and the rewards, all great. Trophywise is a chore, asking to finish all modes, with real survival being the biggest hurdle due to it being essentially a "hard+" mode, with even more enemies and boxes not being interlinked. The boxes weren't a big issue, but the many enemies and limited resources were. But once again, once out of the mansion, the game is much easier, especially if you go for the "bad ending" route on Jill. Otherwise, knife run was kind of a pain on Chris...do it on Jill. And with that, I'm going to take a break, probably going to hunt slowly due to IRL, but at least i got this one done after a long pause. Time to get a Sandwich!
Popular Post Lord_of_Ra
#134 - Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 - Platinum (0.76% UR) Awarded when all other trophies have been unlocked. Personal stats: Enjoyment: 6/10 Community difficulty 8/10 - Personal Difficulty: 7/10 Would recommend? 6/10 Finally done with the grind. To be honest, I didn't like this COD that much. The campaign was nice, with the existential crisis twists and turns here and there (although I had to skip cutscenes many times due to being bored of retrying the same missions over and over). Another thing is that I'm not too much of a fan of the futuristic setting. I felt like I was playing something more like Crysis rather than COD. These games feel better off in the modern era or WW2. All of these things make it feel like this entry lost some of its identity from previous games. This is a game that falls on the category of "decent game, average COD". Trash talk aside, the gameplay is great. I definitely enjoyed the zombies trophies more than the campaign, and the cybercores were a nice addition to the mix. For the plat difficulty, there's not much to say. With a dedicated team, this ain't hard. For Veteran no death missions there are only some parts that are annoying, and the rest can even be obtained solo. You can cheese the MP part, and you don't even have to do an EE on Zombies. It's pretty straightforward without anything noteworthy tbh. Now let's get to the most important part...the special thanks! (Some people are not tagged with a "@" since I am unsure if they are active forum members). -@kindajustin Justin has been an incredible boosting partner for this plat. We started a discord server for boosting stuff, and the lad has been nothing but incredible in organizing teams, and getting stuff done. He's even been helping me mod different boosting sessions, and I have nothing but praise to give this guy! 👏👏👏 -"Strayed" - A friend of Justin who also hopped to help in some zombies trophies for Justin and I. Despite only meeting for a short boost once, I can tell he's a super chilled dude and reliable booster! -@CelestialRequiem I think we met for another zombie boosting session once, but I have the same opinion as strayed. Hell of a booster, great communicator, and easygoing fella! -TGWaluigi: A buddy who's part of the main boosting team alongside Justin, Wicho, and I. Waluigi is also a killer booster, super friendly, and if I or someone else has to take a leader position, he collaborates greatly too. -WichoFloresM: Wicho is hands down one of the best boosters I've met. Great COD player and we did the WW2 EE before meeting for this game. He's not shy if he has to take reigns to get stuff done, shares great advice for important boosting points, and he likes spicy food too much. @Wild-Arms-R: WIld arms helped me out reach lvl 55 in MP. he's an awesome fella, easy to chat with and joke, and he's willing to the extra mile to get someone a trophy after he obtained it. For everyone else I might be forgetting, thank you so much for this amazing journey! Even if the game wasn't the best, it certainly was much more fun thanks to playing it with people you can jam with. Big round of applause for all these peeps! Cheers!
Popular Post EVERJUICECRUMBS
#91 Stellar Blade - Eve Protocol Story 7/10 (They had me when I saw there was robots in the game) Fun Factor 10/10 Difficulty 4/10 I broke down and bought this I had to see what the hype was all about, and it didn’t disappoint , graphics and combat shine here in a big way. I think this is a decent entry into the souls-like combat (more like souls-similar since you don’t have any items/souls you have to regain when you die) if someone hasn’t previously played games like this. There’s a number of settings to ease you into the combat and assist you which I think was an interesting approach since most games in this genre don’t do that I’m aware of (for instance there’s a setting where the game will tell you when to mash buttons for parry and perfect dodge) I think a good platinum run time is probably 50-70 hours. Trophy list here is pretty tame, You just have to watch out for the two points of no return which can lock you out of trophies depending on what you’ve collected. Reminded me in many ways of Lies of P (one of my all time favorites). If you played Stellar Blade, but not Lies of P - you gotta try it! Fun Factor was an easy 10 just because of how fluid combat was and how quickly you could move and jump around, much fun! All in all, I think for Shift Up’s first outing I think the developer did well here. I still would give GOTY to FF7 Rebirth just because of the pure depth of what the game offers, (200+ Hours give or take if you’re hunting the platinum) but I’d put Stellar Blade not far behind it. Wish me luck now I’m working on Hollow Knight, might be awhile, lol.
Popular Post Viscera1900
#473 - Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth Infinite Wealth "Obtained all trophies." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Completion time: 96 hours / 4 months, 4 weeks (PSNP) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This one took me a while, because February/March had crazy release date window for games (Persona 3 Reload & Final Fantasy VII Rebirth) that I was equally interested as Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. I had to take a break from big RPG games after I was done playing Persona 3 Reload and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, so I had to postpone my Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth playthrough. Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth is an absolutely incredible game. Like most big RPG games; the game starts really slow, before interesting things starts happening. The characters and story were engaging enough to keep me invested in the story whole way through. I think Yakuza: Like A Dragon has better story, but Infinite Wealth has better characters, since most of them are making a come back form the previous instalment. Infinite Wealth has one of the greatest character writing I have seen in a video game. I'm glad to see Kiryu making a comeback as playable character for this newest "Yakuza" game. The gameplay is also fun/good. If you like playing turn based RPG games then Infinite Wealth might be your cup of tea. Trophy wise it's not hard game to complete, it's just time consuming as expected from mainline Like A Dragon/Yakuza game "We're breaking the law, breakin the world! 🎶" My facial expression when I get emotional damaged Taking a short nap during intense battle is the way to go! Nah, that's just my air balloon My landlord asking for my rent I too like to wet myself occasionally...
Popular Post mega-tallica
#283 - Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus Enjoyment: 4.5/5 - Always loved the first Sly so any excuse to replay it again, I will take it. The re-release of the game on PS5 with trophy support was the perfect excuse. Such a satisfying platformer, it just feels so good to play even after all these years. Difficulty: 1.5/5 - I've plat'ed all the Sly games on PS3 already so this was mostly just going through the motions again. I liked that they changed the trophies though from the PS3 version. This one has you doing unique tasks in each level of the game like beating A Cunning Disguise without using the barrel which I never thought would be possible. But it is with charms hence the name of the trophy, 'Charming The Library'. Also has you doing the Master Thief runs which I don't remember having to do in the PS3 version and most of them are actually quite tough. Thankfully, you only need 10 and thankfully the rewind feature pretty much negates any challenge as you can just patch together a perfect run by abusing the save states. The game is not hard by any means without rewinds but it will save you some time and some minor frustration (I'm looking at you, Ms. Ruby finnicky QTE boss fight with no checkpoints). On one hand, rewinds cheapen the experience and lessens the reward a little bit but on the other hand, it modernizes the experience and becomes a lot more accessible to the modern gamer. If you want a quick, easy 5 hour plat, you better be using rewinds whenever you mess up. Like a 7-8 hour plat if you play normally.

Popular Post Jiano_Vera
Platinum #150: Tetris Effect Certified Gamer, Certified Platinum WOP WOP WOP this plat fucked me up 💀 I've been playing for 500 hours, I'm not tired 🥱 Trying to strike a chord and its probably a *ding Milestone 150 is in the books! It's been a couple days, and I've had time to process this platinum and I wanted to reflect on my thoughts into this unnecessarily long post. I wanted to earn plat #150 and I opted for this game as before this game I hadn't earned a platinum in this genre and Tetris is a classic in gaming! I've played Tetris as a casual (which gamer hasn't lmao) and I understood basic things like using the "I" piece to score a Tetris buuuut I soon realized the game was so much deeper than that. T-spins, J/L, & S/Z spins, while it's really only necessary for "All Clear" mode, were satisfying to pull off. One of the best aspects for this game is by far the soundtrack and the sound effects! Every rotation and fast drop seamlessly synchronize during the song into this eargasmic experience. "Yours Forever" and "Metamorphosis" have become regular songs into my Spotify playlist and I found myself replaying these particular stages whenever I wanted to take a break from the Tetris grind. Which brings me to my next point... the platinum for this game is hard. The game asks a lot out of you as a player with the Seriously? Seriously. trophy. Sprint was the most challenging done I've done in gaming - no hyperbole. I wanted to knock this mode out first out of all the modes but it took me a loooong time (500 hours) and 1.2M rotations to build the hand speed, dexterity, and muscle memory required to play at an "SS" level pace. On my first Sprint run, I ran a ~2:45, I knew it was gonna be awhile so I committed myself to improving my game - at the cost of no platinums during the first half of 2024 - BUT IT WAS SO GODDAMN WORTH IT. As a game, this is a must-play and I think this might be the definitive way to experience Tetris. As a platinum, get ready to put in some WORK if you're not an experienced Tetris player.

Popular Post greggors95
Platinum 78- Ghost of Tsushima I just want to say I can't believe it took me nearly 4 years to actually give this game a chance and what a game it is. First of all I want to praise the overall look off the game as you go through different seasons, the landscape is so beautiful and might be one off the best looking games I have played. The story is so good and draws you in from the start off the war with the Samurai's and the main antagonists of the game, The Mongols. You play as Jin a member of clan Sakai. You are introduced as the nephew/ward of Lord Shimura who is the Jito (translated as Land Head as they are appointed by the Shogun) of Tsushima. At the start of the game Lord Shimura is taken captive by General Khotun Khan who is apart of the Mongol Empire. During the story you meet allies who lead to side missions called Tales of which add to the overall side stories called Tales of Tsushima which works out as roughly 69 side stories that are needed to be completed. You meet Yuna, Taka, Lady Masako, Kenji, Norio and Sensei Sadanobu Ishikawa who guide you during the fights against he Mongols. I won't spoil the story because I can't give it justice in words but it is worth playing. The combat is really fun and adds to the experience as you have different stances you have to master whilst going through the game. Throughout the game you will also end up with one on one duels which work out as boss fights and mini boss fights, which is where the combat really adds to the game. I really enjoyed my time with this game, I would say it's worth playing if you haven't already. Edited Friday at 05:14 PM by greggors95
Popular Post Prince-Varuni
Platinum #86- Assassin's Creed Valhalla After nine months, got this one. Now, the gameplay itself is fun, I didn't mind the story even if it did drag on a bit and get confusing. The platinum journey though, most of the trophies are fine and even fun to play, until you are doing Completionist All the Way trophy, which has like 700 collectiables in total. And in that, is the most frustrating minigame, Cairns, just stumped me for a few months until I finally got the Heald Tor one which is apparently the hardest (Cleeve Hill isn't any better though). The last part felt more sloggish and exhausting, that I was just done with it. I played some of the DLCs during the middle of all of this, but then I put that stuff on hold for a bit, and now I wished I had done more of it. Because I have no intention in going back to the game, or getting the rest of the trophies (I got some, that were easy while exploring Paris, Ireland, and Ragnarok or wherever that is set, Asgard?). But not doing the DLCs as the collectiables all seem to add up to about 300 if you include all of the DLCs. I had considered playing the PS5 verison in the future and just autopopping the trophies while doing the DLCs, but it seems 'Completionist All The Way' doesn't pop including to PSNguide, and while I do have a savefile near the end of the journey as well as the main save (Hopefully allowing me to skip Cairns), I don't think I will. This journey just exhausted me. Onwards to whatever platinum is next, assuming I can get the will to do it after that lol (And no, FF Rebirth is not going to be that platinum. I am just playing it to see the story and explore, maybe get some easier trophies then be done however long it takes)

Popular Post Biscoito18
#289 - Still Wakes the Deep Got all trophies Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2.5/10 "Still Wakes the Deep" is a very Scottish horror/sci fi walking simulator that reminded me a lot of a mix of "The Thing" and Alex Garland's "Annihilation". Body horror meets Thalassophobia. The parts that gave me the most chills involved having to swim through very murky black water. You walk around the entire oil rig and the graphics are top notch. The acting is excellent and the ending is quite emotional and gritty. I highly recommend it to fans of the genre. #290 - Just Ignore Them Platinum Mark Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Lots of dialogue in a story that goes nowhere. At least it's a pretty quick platinum if you follow a guide.
Popular Post Moridin83 Posted yesterday at 02:09 AM Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 02:09 AM # 321 & 322 Diablo 4 I'm not normally into stacking and auto-pop. No judgement, just not my thing. But I was never able to beat Uber Lilith before I quit after season 1, and when I came back, the ps4 wasn't happy with helltide density, so here we are. Season 4 put the game in a much better place than it launched in, it's actually somewhat enjoyable now, but it still has flaws. Ground damage effects are still far too hard to see during combat, and readability in general is still an issue. The game keeps getting closer to Diablo 3, and that's necessary with the seasonal model. Whether that's good or not is up to you, but with seasons, the Diablo 2 model just doesn't work. I'm still not all in on the game, but I definitely liked it more in S4, and might actually check out the DLC after they fix all the inevitable bugs there. Cautiously recommended at a decent price.

Popular Post Unlucky_Thir13en Posted yesterday at 06:51 AM Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 06:51 AM #148: Citizens of Space PSNP Rarity: 23.53% Fun: 5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Grind: 5/10 Overview: I felt it was finally time to knock out a game that had been unfinished in my backlog for almost five years. Citizens of Space (and its prequel Citizens of Earth) is an interesting case. It was an overall mid experience, but it was charming. It took years for me to finish because it was so hard for me to ever become invested in it, but once I did, I found myself enjoying the experience. And then the game would crash. Or the battle menu wouldn't open because of a recurring bug. Or I couldn't recruit certain Citizens because I was talking to them in the wrong location even though I had completed the criteria to recruit them and there was no logical reason why I shouldn't be able to recruit them anywhere. There was so much potential for such an overlooked EarthBound-inspired indie game, but in its rush to emulate that stylized retro shine, it fumbled the ball on execution and polish. Supposedly 25-30 hours to plat, but it was 42 for me when it was all said and done. Enjoyable comfort food at the best of times, and a tedious unintuitive bug-riddled collectathon at the worst.
Popular Post Lord_doritus
Platinum #47: DOOM Eternal Time: 33 Hours Personal Rating: 9/10 Heavy Metal I simply had to platinum this game straight after DOOM 2016, and it was mostly an incredible experience. The campaign is awesome, the soundtrack is badass and the gameplay feels just as good, if not better than DOOM 2016. Just zooming around and killing demons makes my brain happy, no matter how many times I've done it. Unfortunately the multiplayer dragged the experience down a little bit because of how needlessly grindy some of these trophies were. Also the Battlemode itself just isn't good in my opinion. Why ID Software chose to deviate from the Deathmatch team modes from 2016, I'll never know. Thankfully everything else is so good that it makes up for the disappointing multiplayer. If you love 2016, you're gonna love this game too, because it delivers more of the goods and then some with some new mechanics to keep the gameplay fresh. Just make sure you get some boosting partners for the multiplayer if you're thinking about going for the platinum.
Popular Post Viscera1900
#474 & Trophy #20 000 - Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion My Living Legacy "Acquired all trophies." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Completion time: 42 hours / 5 months, 2 weeks (PSNP) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was good to play Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII again with updated graphics/visuals and slightly modified combat system. The original Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII is my #1 PSP game and Reunion version made it even better and more accessible to new & old players. The character models looks so much better compared to original, but not quite as pretty as Final Fantasy VII Remake & Rebirth. The OG Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII is what ultimately made me love and appreciate Final Fantasy VII's world, lore and characters. I loved OG Final Fantasy VII and Crisis Core Final Fantasy made me love and appreciate it even more when I first tackled it about 15 years ago. Trophy wise it's an easy list to complete and being old game design there are missable collectibles/trophies if you don't take time to explore the environment when given chance to do so. I'd recommend to follow a guide for those collectibles. And I don't actually have to play the whole game on hard difficulty for a trophy; just beat the final boss on hard mode and you unlock a shiny gold trophy (you can switch difficulty in settings) Gongaga's finest ballsack massager I can't believe how many times I got robbed by Yuffie during those side missions... Can... can I have a taste too? Pretty please...? Fun fact: Zack was repeating "Me? Popular Post Valzentia
#231 - Call of Duty: World at War Difficulty: 10/10 Fun: 10/10 It's over. This is objectively the hardest platinum I have ever done in my life. I'm genuinely shocked it isn't an ultra rare, though i'm gonna chalk that up to modders autopopping for a lot of people. This is the most punishing Veteran difficulty in Call of Duty history, because the grenade spam is unholy. I used a video walkthrough for most of it, and even then there were problem child missions (looking at you, "Heart of the Reich"). It's also one of the best campaigns in Call of Duty history; it's uncompromising about the atrocities of war, and the dark tone fits extremely well. It also introduced Zombies...which is why I pulled through in the first place. I'm trying to platinum all the pre-BO4 Zombies games (bar Black Ops II as it's unobtainable; if Microsoft fixes it I will buy 5 Xbox Series X consoles), and this leaves me with just Black Ops III. I have this feeling that Realistic will be a joke compared to this, but i'm not gonna get my hopes up. But holy shit. This is another one that I cannot believe I finished...i'm still processing it as I type this. Wow.
Popular Post dj_lalle
Rise of the ronin for me, what a good game. The story was pretty decent not the best ever and not the worst. The gameplay was pretty fun, with different fighting styles and different weapons, but as always with rng weapons you Can have a Gold weapon that is alot worse than a standard weapon gotten from enemies. One note never sell the weapons always disassemble them for the materials, I never sold anything and ended with 540k. The graphics is not the best in the World, but it could have been so much worse. Overall experience is that the game was 100% worth 35$ I paid for it. Fun: 8/10 Plat diff: 3-4/10, everything Can be replayed with a certian feature.
