colia100
I had a shitload of store credit, and the store manager told me they weren't doing so well and would probably close shop... So i grabbed the most expensive thing there i didn't own yet and hauled ass outta there... And they did indeed go bankrupt a month later... There you go, inspiring, i know... NetEntity
The glorious amounts of Japanese games. Vita had a plentiful number of games that I was particularly interested in. 3DS have gotten somewhat more pricey in my region, and with the New model on the horizon I've decided to skip over 3DS at the moment in favor of Vita. Also really wanted to get back into PSN (my PS3 was fried back then) and use at least a miniscule amount of my already existing library that is Vita compatible. Gilberting
PS1 classics. I was gonna get a PSP to play some PS1 classics but I said screw it, why not play some new games as well.
NullRay85
I'm gonna be like most and say Persona 4 Golden, VIrtue's Last Reward, and Danganronpa. Those games made me really want a Vita and it was worth it. Also, the system looked really appealing so I had to get it. However, one problem all Vita owners face are those expensive memory cards... Edit: The ability to play PS1 games on the go and Killzone Mercenary were major deciding factors for me. PBJ85
For me it was the fact that I was able to play everywhere anytime on a Playstation. First games where ModNation racers, Prison Escape and Deviants! best games i played on it where: LBP-Vita, Rayman Origins and Uncharted GA Now i Have a PS4 I love the Remote-Play function on it. It became for me even better with a PS+ account
LittleLamb121
For me it was Persona 4 Golden, Muraski Baby and Danganronpa. Also, I needed to update from a PSP anyways, so it only made sense.
jantrick2
I had a bunch of free games from PS+, I loved the idea of a handheld with dual analog sticks and the 3ds was region locked.

xWinson
Always loved playing on a portable console, after 10 months of playstation plus vita games being given out, I eventually bought one to play them all. Also PS4 remote play is a massive plus for me.

SynnFrost
Despite having the original on PS3, P4G was a big factor (Just bought a used one today actually). The free PS+ games and all the PS1 Classics were some other factors, along with quite a few other games that have caught my eye.

BlackStar_CS9
I've never been really interested in Vita but I decided to buy it because of Special Offers at Gamestop: I paid the console only 30€ bringing them three old PS3 games. Since then I played a lot of games from PS+ and I rarely bought any retail one.
Hourisathand
I purchased my Vita because my girlfriend and I were having issues sharing the television at times so this was a way that we could both be happy. She could watch her shows and I could game still.
JapanimeGamer
Originally I said I purchased a vita to play exclusives and to game-on-the-go. This now is updated to include me using the Vita as an educational aid to assist in my learning of the Japanese language. It really is quite amazing to play games and to learn both at the same time. RisingSenpai616
Originally P4G and Danganronpa. It was actually a very tentative purchase and I almost didn't bother. So glad I did though It's now easily my favourite console.
