Might I say that this was an even more pain in the bum to get than the previous DLC one, a lot harder to not die in this DLC expansion as particularly as I have stated the AI is a totally bad certainly whilst on the PS5 [ a bit slower somehow ], so falling off to your death can happen a lot if you are not a little cautious with Alan as he walks on smaller spaces or jumps.  Thankfully you are not on the clock, you just have to try to avoid being killed either by taken/swooping ravens [ enemies can put Alan into the grey with a beating heart with two hits even on Easy mode ] or by dodgy AI for the entire DLC.

Back in 2017, when this game was given on PS+, I've managed to find a group to boost the trophies.

Managed to get all of them online back when, but for some reason I didn't get this one.

And that kinda bummed me out, online trophies are things I'd rather get done as soon as I can.

 

Today I saw someone mentioning this game, and I've felt a surge of inspiration.

"Now I have a PS5... but my PS4 is right there on my closet... hmmm...."

 

So I've decided to self boost this one.

Went on pretty well, and the trophy came pretty effortlessly.

I fail to understand why more people didn't/don't play this. I actually really like it and think it's really good. Easy? Possibly too easy? I mean... maybe? I've never cared about something like that though. All I care about is if I like it and if I'm having fun. Which I am. ?

 

Story just took a major turn too and the current Chapter is basically a Boss Rush. ?

The first trophy listed here is easily one of the worst I've done. So much RNG is involved whenever you get the card or not. Even though there's only one stage for farming those, it's not guaranteed. At one point, I must've played that stage 10-15 times before I got one. Listening something else while playing made it somewhat bearable, though.

 

Then we have the hardest trophy of the game. Personally, I didn't have too much of trouble with that. In fact, I managed to do it on my 2nd attempt. The stage itself is easy, but the boss is the troublesome part. Once it stars firing missiles, that's where it gets tough. Somehow I got lucky through that phase and the boss went down pretty easily. After that, it was time collect the last few medals I was missing.

 

Anyway, that's one game out of the way. Moving on the second one which, unlike this, actually has a platinum and seems to be much more challenging. Am I up for it? Yes, but I'm going to take my time with it, if necessary.

Persona 5 (PS4) - Platinum Trophy

 

Legendary Phantom Thief

After the completion of four persona dancing games across the PS4 and Vita, I finally decided it was time to platinum the game that got e into the persona series. Great game but a very long completion and platinum. The passionate listener trophy was by far the worse one on the list as it is difficult to keep track of how many lines you have heard and getting certain lines, such as status condition related ones, which was a pain. The other hardest would be the secret boss in ng+ as you need essentially prepare a very powerful persona by increasing its stats, which is annoying to do quickly and you need to prepare the entire playthrough by going to the gym to increase your stats while getting the best gear possible for all party members.

 

If you want to platinum this game or Royal, don't go in blind without a guide of some sort as this will make the journey harder and the game certain fun at some parts.

 

While this game is fun, I only recommend this game if you want a harder platinum trophy as Persona 5 Royal is the same game with many QOL improvements, an easier trophy list and takes less time overall to finish in comparison!

 

Glad to have another game that has been sitting on my list for a while be completed!

 

I will finish Persona 4 Golden for the vita hopefully soon, but I am not looking forward to doing a worse version of the passionate listener trophy from this game.

 

I am glad to have this platinum in my collection!

The only trophy guide I found didn't mention anything about that. It might've been a waste of time, but the only good thing it did for me was that I managed to get a ton of stars which came in handy when going for the last few medals. I did back up save in case things didn't go as planned, but it never hurts to have some extra.

I apologize to you all and kept you all waiting for the past 2 1/2 months of hiatus. I have now return back to trophy hunting and got my upgrades ready to kick ass. Back to Vice City. Nevertheless, the progression is going very well and took down most of the easy trophies on a whim. Sex scenes and all were very funny as shit. Done a few side-quests and bit of story mode so far. Got the $10,000,000 piece for the  Take the Cannoli. I have more work to do and now time for me to continue forward.
