Great game so far. Servers etc and online gaming had a lot of people waiting and dropping in and out of online multiplayer but overall it's been great so far. Personally prefer running on walls than Exo suits. Love the Cyber Core Abilities also. Currently playing it on Realistic

I'm really enjoying the multiplayer, which was to be expected because I loved the beta, but I'm not a fan of the campaign so far. I was never a huge fan of the Blops campaigns but so far this one ranks as one of the worst in the entire CoD series as far as fun factor, in my opinion.

If anyone wants to play multiplayer with me feel free to shoot me a friend request on PSN, I'm off on Wednesday nights and Thursday nights but might be able to play for a few hours on other weekdays.

I am having great time, I haven't had any lags in any of the matches also love the feature where I can permanently mute everyone that is not in my party. I just started Campaign and so far it is better than Ghost's Campaign but I still don't who is the enemy is it China, Russia or a Terrorist cell or someone new but at least Black Ops 3 has a campaign unlike a certain video game(looking at you EA) In my opinion Black Ops 3 is way better than Ghost and Advance Warfare.

P.S. Also Nuketown looks so pretty, I love how the Cherry Blossom looks. (This was the first time, I actually looked at the graphics on the PS4 and was impressed)

MP is as fun as usual, and as fun as it was in the beta.

Zombies is being largely ignored as usual.

Campaign, amazingly, is one of the worst of all the COD games. Outside of the original 3 games, it's the least memorable of the series.

1 I remember the setup of the game, I remember enjoying it, but I don't remember any of it's characters or story or anything.
2 I remember less of.

3 I remember nothing of, it probably doesn't help that I'm not sure I finished this one though.

MW was the one with Price and Soap and shit stopping the terrorist bloke.

WaW was the one with Reznov and flamethrowering blokes in trees and shit. Also zombies, I guess.

MW2 had them stop the other terrorist bloke.

BO was the one where you turned out to be Reznov and the numbers and shit and the sweet soundtrack. Awesomesauce.

MW3 had them actually stop the terrorist bloke.

BO2 was that silly drone one and there was a horse and I didn't dig the game that much.

Ghosts was incredibly predictable but still entertaining, Rourke was the bad guy and you, your brother, and father Elias (I think) are in the Ghosts and shit.

AW was the one with robot suits and Kevin Spacey and shit, it was a decent story if a bit predictable.

Then you've got Black Ops 3 and I remember Hendricks' name and that's only because I hum Watchtower whenever he's on screen. I remember piss all else from this game so far.

Oh, and guys, forcing a playable female protagonist is fine, no really, it is, but when you have no name, and the subtitles just call you "player", it feels really fucking forced, don't give the player choice. Give the player a girl or a boy, don't let them pick, because if there's the option to be one then the story will play out as though you could have chose the other, and then neither of them really get the proper treatment they deserve.

As far as I understand, it's a completely made up groups. I'm not too far, but the only "bad guy" names I've remembered is the Immortal 54s or something.

I don't like the campaign very much. It made me laugh pretty hard at the end of the first level (when your character undergoes the standard "trauma"), compared to Advanced Warfare where I was genuinely shocked with what happened to Mitchell and his friend. The lack of boundaries in a level are annoying as hell like they are in Destiny. I went exploring and oops, fell a bit too far and was presented with a "TURN BACK NOW" threat, and since I was stuck, I died. Maybe the story gets better later, but so far, it's worst than Ghosts.

I haven't tried multiplayer and I normally don't, but thanks to the multiplayer trophies I guess I have to..

Zombies... I dunno, I prefer Exo Zombies since you have way more freedom with movement, and while that does make things easier, it still can be difficult (ironically by removing your exo with those EMP zombies).

I'm super apprehensive buying this game. My brother (my roommate) went all out. He got the Black Ops III PS4 and the fucking mini fridge. He just let me play a game on his account, and I gotta say, I am impressed. It plays smoothly, and it appears to be balanced from the little I've seen. He's got a spare copy that he's offering to sell me so I might jump on that. The last Call of Duty I enjoyed was Black Ops I. After that the series just went downhill through my eyes. The second iteration of Black Ops was pretty enjoyable, but no where as good as the first IMHO. Ghosts and AW were a joke. I think this might be a turning point for the series. Going to play more and get a better feel for it...

Edit (December 12th, 2015): I've been on and off this game for a month now. I beat the campaign on hardened, played some zombies, and hit level 55 in multiplayer. With less time on my hands I can't go flying through those prestiges anymore like I did back in high school lol. But overall I would say I played roughly 24 hours of this game in the past month.

Campaign: Fucking joke. The campaign, in my humble opinion, is horrendous. Though the 'idea' behind the story they were attempting to tell was interesting, they failed to truly reveal that in the campaign. Additionally, if I wanted to play a game with all those fucking robots I can just throw terminator salvation into my PS3. It just doesn't feel like a Call of Duty campaign anymore from the story's standpoint. Keep in mind the last campaign I beat was in Black Ops II. I also thought the acting was a little bit PG sometimes.

Multiplayer: The multiplayer impressed me. This is where the bulk of time was spent. The game feels more balanced. I'm not a big fan of the new specialist thing. I just think being able to come back from death instantly, or go back in time and totally fuck me over in multiplayer is just straight up un fair. Granted, using specialists like the sythe has some insane advantages. I believe this is pretty balanced, but just unnecessary. The jumping and running on walls is honestly great. Do I think it should be in a Call of Duty game? No. But it fits fine in Black Ops III somehow. Something you'll need to try out for yourself.

Zombies: I enjoyed zombies. They added some new things and it's certainly fun to play.

The campaign was really bad (No surprise there) but the MP is the most fun i've had with a CoD game since Modern Warfare 2. I just feel like the Wall Running and Sliding maneuvers make for some really fun moments.

Like running up a wall and flanking the enemy by surprise. Sliding on the floor really makes players panic sometimes since the slide is pretty fast.

Overall, i'd say this game is great and i haven't even touched the Zombies or *SPOILERS* Nightmare modes.

9/10

Would give it a 9.5/10 if the story was decent.

I Like the multiplayer, the campaign is all over the place and may take the cake as one of the worst stories in COD history (chapter 8 omg pick a genre and stick with it).

I never go into games expecting much of a story but i was hoping that this one would at least have some type of link with the previous 2 black ops but so far (im only on chapter 9 out of 11) theyve only referenced the villain from blops 2, other than that this game could have been a standalone. As a fun factor its the standard fun you would expect unless you are playing realistic which is nearly soul crushing as you die in one bullet.

Mate, get it. BO was my introduction initially to this series. I also got the 1TB BO3 PS4

Multplayer is better than ever, zombies is.... hard, and the campaign is there to fill out the trophy list I presume. There's nothing quite like gunning down other players while wall running all over the map. Not sure if I'm sold on the specialist aspect of mp, but then again I have yet to unlock any but the starting few. So far the only one that seems to do work is the grenade launcher chick, looking forward to the robot mini-turret and the flamethrower guy.

I was disappointed honestly. The multiplayer...I wanted to like it but the whole thing felt unfair and every death felt cheap, and like there was nothing I could do to avoid it. I'm really not sure what it is but it just didn't feel fair at all...seems like that's not a popular opinion though

Campaign was alright from what I played (first 2 chapters), the story was weird and a little nonsensical but the gameplay was fun. Although it reminded me of the game Terminator Salvation, which isn't good...

I didn't play much zombies but what I played was intriguing, I'm curious about why you can turn into a hentai tentacle monster. It felt a lot harder than before but fun nonetheless, however nowhere near how amazing BO2 zombies was imo.

I'm really enjoying the multiplayer on Blops III, everything just feels right. I've not yet had a hint of lag, guns have a satisfying sound and feel and the specialists and thruster packs are actually implemented well in this title. This game feels like a lovechild between Modern Warfare 2 and Blops II with just a little bit of Advanced Warfare sprinkled in.

I think I'm level 36 and am currently using the Reaper (Scythe) and I'm having a blast. Even when I'm with a team of maroons who go 2-18 I still have fun, I never really feel like I have a cheap death, scorestreaks don't seem overpowered at all and they give you the means to destroy them very easy with the launcher that is unlocked at the very beginning. I can see myself putting a lot of time into this game, it looks like Treyarch definitely took advantage of that three year development cycle.

I'm so confused...everyone seems to have felt this way, yet when I played every death felt cheap and like I couldn't have avoided it, my bullets seemed to do nothing whereas the enemies could destroy me in only a few...it's not like I was doing anything wrong so I can't understand how my experience altered so much from everyone else's

What is your connection like? I may be wrong but I've been told that there is no (or very, very little) lag compensation in this game so if your connection isn't good then you may experience some issues.

Connection was solid. The game itself ran smooth and it felt really nice to play, the issue lied with losing almost every firefight without even having a chance

i bought the game on the 8th, played for a day , experienced high pings I am talking 200+ms (even 400 +) so not surprisingly lag everywhere. searched online and came to know that COD has no servers in my region (Asia/SEA region) nearest one is Australia and Japan on top of that there is no search preference to atleast wait it out and get into good matches with acceptable ping with players in my vicinity/region. so retuned the game got my money back! guess Activision doesnt care about my region so back at yeh Activison!
On a side note Battlefield has dedicated servers this game has dedicated servers I get 4-5 bars of ping in battlefield and never experience any lag ever in 200+ hours logged in but in Cod I played 20-30 matches and not one lag free match. Guess its not to be shame the game was actually fun

What gun/weapon you using? and what is your play style?

It's good to find a class that suits your play style. My preferred weapon class is SMG's as I like to rush to get behind enemies, get in their spawn, get in their faces etc. and now most of the time I'm finishing with a positive K/D, sometimes even topping the scoreboard of a game when I'm tryharding like a little bitch, because SMG's and even Shotguns (I don't really like the shotguns though) are amazing for close-quarter combat. I also avoid the open fields of the maps as someone with an Assault Rifle, LMG, or even a Sniper Rifle can easily pick me off

Just keep playing the game, I felt like how you are right now when I was playing the beta. I was pretty shit then tbh (and yes, I'm calling you shit. git gud kid)

Just wait until after Christmas :P

But I don't wanna :(

Best MP Since MW3, smooth and responsive though I much prefer the XB1 controller for these games that is just a personal thing and not the games fault. As for Campaign? I never finished Blops 2 or AW campaign due to what I saw as shit campaigns. I honestly feel that treyarch release quality games in this series though nothing will ever match WAW with it's brutality and encouragement to give a shit about the players. I am really enjoying this online, great stuff treyarch!

I'm not sure what weapon I was using but I played it on a friends ps4 who hasn't played it before so I assume it was a default one, I used an smg though. As for my play style, I guess I rush as I don't like to be in the same place for long and I tend to run forward and actively search for enemies. Maybe I just need more time with it, I'll get the game when it's gone down in price a bit and then maybe you can show me how not to be a noob :P

The tracker perk available on Perk 2 is great as well, if you rush, I really recommend you use that :P

Which specialist weapon/ability you using as well?
