Popular Post Suicide_Tortuga
Can't really sell it as the definitive experience of MGS V if it's still missing Chapter 3...
Undead Wolf
I got Ground Zeroes from Plus, and the DLC for The Phantom Pain seems to be cosmetic items, and other cash grab like things, so I have no real interest in getting this. I'll stick with my regular edition. Maybe if they actually included worthwhile additional content in this, like I dunno, the missing third chapter, maybe I'd get it. But this is Konami, so of course not. #FucKonami
Z1MZUM
I think they are testing the waters to see how far fans of the series will go.
skateak
I wonder if the image on the site is the cover art. That would be pretty cool. I hate when they take the original art and slap Definitive, Complete, GOTY Edition on it.
RachelCharlotte
For a moment I was afraid having bought MGS5 last month was a big mistake, glad to hear nothing crucial is included in the newer version.
FLUX_Rezulta
And then when Metal Gear Survive is released they'll make a MGSV Ultimate edition...

VeldinX
Hopefully that is the US case too. You know sometimes they are different. True, true, but in this "case" it's the same. Japan has a different one though: Edited August 30, 2016 by dell9300

I love the cover art for both but I especially like the top one. Thanks for posting these dell9300!

Natsuu24
Why not for ps3/xbox 360 too ?? :/Anyway, i prefer keep my MGS GZ case with "A Hideo Kojima Game"
Undead Wolf
I only started MG5 last night but what's this about them leaving out an entire chapter? O_o The article skateak linked pretty much sums it up. Due to the deteriorating relationship between Kojima and Konami, it seems like Konami wanted the game pushed out of the door as soon as possible. As a result, things had to be cut. When people say TPP has no story, you can see why. The Konami these days are more about making mobile games and pachinko machines rather than big budget AAA titles.

zatanna_52
I've only just started the MGS series and I don't have Ground Zeroes, or Phantom Pain yet so maybe I will get this, unless I can get the games cheaper separately.
SnowxSakura
Regardless of your feelings towards Konami, this is a typical definitive edition and not terrible if you don't own either game.
Jon-Patrick-S
Hopefully it's all on disc and not codes but I can't really think of any Konami definitive editions compared to say Ubi who seem to always do codes so it's hard to say what way they'll go. Nice to see that they're actually putting on all the Mother Base Bonus Staff seeing as they for some reason never bothered to release them all on the PS store. Wonder if they'll bother sticking the contents of the bonus collector's edition disc in too at least then it will be as close to complete as possible even if the final episode is never playable.
