However that said with the recent release of all the Jak games on PS4 it wouldn't surprise me if the developer who owns the ip was testing the waters for a new game. Because I keep up with gaming news daily and I have yet to see any thing about it plus idk if naughty dog still owns jak and daxter but I can assure you that if they do they definitely won't be making a new one ever. The reason why I got PlayStation 2 and inadvertently joined the PlayStation Family (my first console was an Atari 2600) in the first place was because I wanted to play Jak 2 which my cousin introduce me too back when I was Nine years old. I played them on my PlayStation 2 and platinum the original trilogy on my PlayStation 3. I haven't gotten the PlayStation 4 versions yet but I am planning to get them. Anyway, why can’t you people let Jak 4 go already? It’s probably gonna happen. These are all just rumors (although I haven’t heard of the “rumors” you speak of. Their concept art for Jak PS3 is evidence of that. They completely went against what made the series great. And I don't mean the edgy shift from J&D to Jak 2. I can accept that. An explanation is not a prequel. They gave the characters some backstory, but the game's story didn't take place in the past. Both Last of Us and Uncharted are objectively better. I mean just look at them. There’s no way you can look at the old Jak games and look the uncharted games (or Last of Us) and think Jak is better.
