Hi Everyone! I am just starting in with a healthy backlog, and I got my first cleanup plat last night. I needed to play through each game with a friend online. My friend asked me if I wanted to play something two-player, and I said.....yes! 

 

Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle All 11 Trophies 11th January 2022 • Completed in 2 years, 1 month

 

I have many backlog games to go, some short and some long, but here are a few I hope to play this year:

• Ravensword: Shadowlands, PS4, 73% complete, last trophy April 13, 2021
• Mekorama, PS4, 15% complete, last trophy April 16, 2021
• Watchmen: The End is Nigh (Parts 1 and 2), PS3, 23% complete each, last trophy September 3, 2010
• King's Quest, PS4, 3% complete, last trophy June 2, 2020
• Cyberpunk 2077, PS4, 9% complete, last trophy December 17, 2020 (planning this for 1000th platinum)
• Eat Lead, PS3, 88% complete, last trophy May 31, 2018
• Super Time Force Ultra, 59% complete, last trophy July 8, 2016

There are many, many more to complete over time, but this is where I will start. Keep fighting the good fight, team!

Could you remove the following games from my agenda: (all have been completed)

Also just like some of the other hunters have said on this forum I'm gonna take a break from the backlog cleaning. In 2 years I've done 41 games and I'm running out of backlog games I actually wanna play. Also with Horizon, Elden Ring, Gran Turismo coming out I'm gonna play some more new games and try to get the platinum on those games. Might still do some cleaning up with TLOU2, RDR2, The Witcher 3, GTA5 and Rayman but might also not ?

Greetings everyone!

 

My first backlog game of the year is completed... not what I wanted it to be but I wanted to get something quick out of the way so I could get the ball rolling, and my first game is SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom, I brought it back in the summer when it was super cheap as I wanted to play some collectathon games and even though I never actually watched the show I decided to get it. For the most part it is a tyical collectathon game but you would get more out of it if you were a fan of the show, I never watched it so a lot of things were lost on me but I knew enough to understand some references to the show.

 

Overall a short little game that I should have gotten done sooner.

Another two games completed!

 

First, cleaning up as much as I could for the DLCs for LBP2. I'd say I enjoyed the DLCs. Cleaning up as much as I could from what was left of this game, and it's now fully complete, so another game done with.

For my next game, finally completed a Vita game that's been on my account for so long. Now I just have to repeat everything again for the PS3 version lol, including the DLCs. Definitely a big fan of NFS games, it was just relatively harder to see ahead in this version of MW due to the graphical capabilities of the Vita, had my fair share of infuriating moments running into corners I didn't see until it was too late.

This was my first ever trophy on psn, I never did own a PS3, so this one feels good to finally clean up. I enjoyed this compact open-worlder but coming off Sucker Punch's masterful GoT last year it does cement just how much a leap in quality and narrative they took. Favourite power is definitely neon, getting around the map and running up buildings is so quick and painless when you upgrade that ability. Otherwise the story was okay I guess, nothing special.

Finally found time to post the summary! Thank you for your patience everyone. No guarantees though this isn’t without errors (I only found time to work on it in bits & pieces). My gaming time in 2021 was pitiful, I think I completed a few games the whole year. Life can unexpectedly sap your time as we all have experienced. The new year hasn't had a promising start either, but I'm trying to spend more time with this hobby. Cross your fingers for me because I started a good number of games last year. I can't say I'm pressed for choice on backlog qualifiers at least.

First finish of the year, with Expand.  Fairly short, under two hours.  Ran this is Feb of 2018 so just under 4 years.

 

Bleed is rough, so I'm giving myself a bit of distance at the moment.  Planning on giving the Arcade mode a couple tries a day until I can get through each of the difficulties, but I don't see me finishing it before Feb. 1.

 

I'll update again towards the first.

Well now I have a SECOND backlogged game completed, this one should NOT have taken me so long but it caused me so much trouble in the beginning that I ended up giving up because I couldn't seem to get the points I needed before losing all of my lives, it was only recently I found out that I should have been abusing the save state in the game and now after a few hours of doing so "AND A LOT OF HARD WORK" I now have this 100% completed.

 

Time to 100%: 1 year, 10 months, 1 week

Raity: 20.30%

 

Even though in many other Neo Geo games I'm sure getting 150k points is simple, this game is extremely cheap, even with the difficulty set to easiest you will still get thrown about by the bosses and lose a live in 3 throws, the throws themself are bullshit as you can only win the first two and you're VERY lucky if you win any more before losing a life.

 

EDIT: Also for @Gretchen27  I'll be filling in a form for all of the games I complete near the end of the month so you don't get one every time I complete a game like I use to

 MonsterBag - Vita - 4 years, 9months: Decent little point and click with stealth mixed in.  Trophies aren't the best, and I won't like, I followed a guide.  So god only know if the game is actually hard.

 

 Seasons After Fall - PS4 - 3 Years, 3 months:  I liked this onem uch more.  There's a puzzle later in the game trhat's kind of obnoxious, involving bugs.  Butr still, decent game, and the puzzles were pretty well thought out, save a couple.  Those just ended up being tedious.

 

I doubt I'll get anything else this month, but if I do, I'll let yall know.

Super stoked to have this UR plat. Game was such a grind and definitely had it's fair share of frustrating moments. I'm glad I've been able to knock out a lot of these older games that I started way back in the day.

Completed the RNG portion of Rune Lord.

It's a common plat, so it looks kinda bad after the UR of King Hayes  (but there's a cheat to complete all levels in this game, which I used for frustrating ones tbh.)

Not much too say about it, the x15 combo is RNG and nothing else, bit annoying.

Anyways, one step closer to maxing out my level on PSN, until they increase the cap again as soon as I get close.

 

Probably one of the last games submitted for a while as well if I don't find anything to play before the release avalanche that's coming soon.

Ok so my THIRD game for this month is done, another that shouldn't have been left for so long but then again that could be said for most of my games, either way my last game for this month is... FLOWER! ... wait why you laughing? No i'm serious!

Okay real talk I don't know why I put this off, I started it up and got 1 trophy when I first brought the Journey Collections Edition but never touched it after that, last year I started it again and got far before dropping it once again and now I've gotten the final trophies. As much as I would love to add Flow to my list of games completed I can't do that without investing in two more controllers and finding 3 other people to play it with me to get those trophies.

A bit of both honestly. I'm still missing gear and I can't find it. I also can't find a way to buy or craft what I'm missing, so it's just luck?

Collectibles are the worst kind I've seen in a video game so far. If the internet is right, and it always is , other people in a random lobby can steal them from you. If they even spawn in the first place that is.
