Probably the worst PS4 game I've played all year

got this on Ps+ and I'm amazed they made a 2nd. the checkpoints are sparse, enemies have NBA level aim (looking at you robots with boulders) and can kill you with their attacks after you kill them. the story is maybe 4/10. the 2 humans that follow you around just teleport through the levels like its no biggy. the boss fights are no harder than the normal enemy's. I really don't see what Sony were thinking with this game.

Was one of my first PS4 games back at launch. I kinda enjoyed it. it's not amazing, but it's not as bad as people make it out to be

Knack is one of my personal favourites, however I will say that Knack 2 is better, plus the addition of co-op really filled that void Knack had. Also the trophies of Knack were long winded, and the diamonds were hard to come by but you know what? Knack isn't a perfect game, but it's still one I like. (and still playing it cos I want to platinum it lol)

I liked Knack quite a bit but yeah there were some weird things like charcters just teleporting throughout the levels. Been a while since I played but will pick up the second game when it goes under £10 like with a lot of games.

I stopped worrying about the story a couple chapters in. I get that it's for kids (story wise) but God was it awful. 

Then the combat is decidedly NOT for kids, as you can die pretty easily. I hated growing into a big ass Knack (the only time the game is fun/fair) only to have to shed all my pieces to go through a gate or whatever. 

The trophies make this one if the worst ps4 games to plat. So unfun, so random, so stingy. I dunno if it's available still, but the companion app is helpful in getting the gems you need. It plays like Bejeweled. I recommend playing that over Knack, actually.

i think it was a fine game to come along as a first ps4 title. it was designsd for kids, but not too childish for grown ups to enjoy too.

 

Don't see any reason to hate it

I really enjoyed both parts/plats despite some minor annoyances.

 

Edit: the story sucked and the characters were unlikable, but gameplay was mostly fun.

I thought the coop in Knack 2 (and I assume Knack) was really welldone. Especially in the cutscenes where both players have to press the buttons.

It came bundled with my PS4 and I enjoyed playing the co-op. Don't think I would have bothered to complete it solo.

I've heard how this game is so bad that it's become a meme on Dunkey's channel and its known as a masta piece!

I’m still sort of intrigued about this game cause I often tend to end up liking games with negative reviews. I got it with the PS4 but it’s still in its shrink wrap.

I con confirm the app is still available. I have it on my iPhone, and it's pretty fun.

I enjoyed the game. It's funny to see people complain about it being hard though. Git gud maybe?

Honestly I thought it was overhated, and the whole 'memeness' of Knack among communities has gotten... well, I've never been big on memes to begin with...

 

It's by no means a great game but I'd rather play it over a lot of games out there to be honest. It's got a basic yet functional combat system, levels are varied enough but rather standard with nothing special about them. It's okay.

Knack's Quest has been delisted, at least for Android. But I'm pretty sure the same applies for iOS.

If BV2K16 is still able to play it it's only due to him not having deleted the app yet I guess.

 

But don't worry, it was a boring Match-3 that everybody only played for the items for the main game.
