Lacerisaie
I personally love Sakura Wars series... Since the first 4 Sakura Wars games never came out to the West, you may not familiar with this... Sadly it's a dead franchise now.

heath_577
I also would have to go with Streets of Rage, 2 in particular. Yuzo Koshiro soundtrack to the first two games in the series were outstanding and were some of the best I ever heard on the Mega Drive, shame the third game was a total disappointment in regards to how hard the game was and the god awful soundtrack

lvankov
Valkyria Chronicles followed by Shenmue. I'm probably still cursing SEGA in my sleep for not bringing the third Valkyria Chronicles's game to the west, i even brought a PSP to play the second one ! KamakuraHero
I grew up with the legendary Sega Mega Drive, so i loved them ever since. I want to thank them for creating my favorite franchise in gaming but also a BIG F*** off for not releasing Yakuza Kenzan, Ishin , 1+2 HD collection & 5 to the west. It's a shame because this wonderful franchise deserves way more than it gets. Yakuza FTW!!!
TheLastSurvivorD
It was either Sonic the Hedgehog, which I love, or Virtua Fighter, which I grew up with, but Sonic the Hedgehog wins. Edited June 22, 2014 by TheLastSurvivorD

Goro
don't they own Atlus now so would Persona or Shin Megami Tensei fall under SEGA now Yes, they would, Atlus became a part of Sega about 2 weeks after i created this poll...it's too late to add in Persona now though with so many votes. lazyfan
Sonic, of course. But if we put that series aside, I'd say Super Monkey Ball. But I also love Valkyria Chronicles, Shenmue and Phantasy Star. And I loved Skies of Arcadia, but that's pretty much a 1 hit wonder... Would love a sequel someday.
Yukizm69
Yakuza here, been supporting the series since the first one came out on the PS2 and one of the reasons I bought a PS3. Can't wait for Yakuza 5.

starcrunch061
A tough choice between Yakuza and Phantasy Star, but ultimately, 16-bit JRPGs win the day. Edited August 13, 2015 by starcrunch061
