Hello there.

 

First of all, big thanks to good Super man and LaughinGuo from TA site for coming up with this glich/exploit!
Thanks to this solution, you won't have to deal with stupid and unfair 950 Karaoke challange and get the trophy!

 

I will try to explain everything as simple as possible, so...

 

1. You need to do Haruka request until the Baccarat one when you need to win 4,000 chips (after buying gold plate at Ebisu). But don't go beyond this point! If you are past this challenge than you have to start Premium Adventure from the beginning (or save file that has state from before the Baccarat challenge). I personally still think it's much better way than dealing with this idiotic karaoke. 
2. Go and win Baccarat for Haruka (I was using save scumming and betting 1,000 on Tie, if you won't win up to 4 games than just load and repeat). 
3. After winning 4,000 chips, go back to West Park and go to the shed, where Haruka little dog lies (it's a save point). You will have option to Create Clear Data, which you must do. After that, you will be automatically placed in main menu.
4. From main menu, you have to choose Premium Adventure (not continue!) and choose Clear Data that you have created just few minutes ago. 
5. Now you will be back at Serena. Just talk with Haruka to come with you, and go once again to Fukuma Casino and win at Baccarat (again). You can still use save scum method.
6. After winning at Baccarat, you will get EX Rank from Haruka and of course the most annoying trophy from the whole list! 

 

I was playing with the newest patch and the game is not supported anymore so there's no worries that it will be patched.

No, why would it? After doing this you will get maximum Ex Rank. For completionist you don't need that rank anyway.

Honestly, Expert Rotation was way worse than Otometal imo. I've ran through getting EX-Rank twice, and I struggled on Rotation more than getting 950+ on Otometal

For me it was completely otherwise. I could finish rotation with simple paper on the screen and Otometal is just broken, because buttons are lagging and not recognise them in time. Stupid as hell.

Rotation I got lucky on, and Karaoke I was glad to do legitimately, as it made doing it in other games easy. What was also hard and frustrating was the shootout car chase on Legend Difficulty. It was not only hard, but a failure would result in being sent back to the very beginning of the chapter every single time. It drove me mad.

Tried this on the Japanese version; it works. I saw someone do this because of his trophy screenshot was at the casino but he's Japanese so I wouldn't know what he said if I asked what he did. At first I thought the rank is retained on but the requests are not on NG+ but I found out that's not the case and that is was because of this glitch.

Plus it's not like you can't make a backup then get 100% completion on there in case if it does.

I believe Baccarat is the last event of Rank SS.

Thanks a lot for this, saved me a lot of hassle. Haruka's request are definetly a chore to do, not funny at all. Otometal already drove me crazy trying to do 900, 950 would've been a challenge to my mental sanity

I first tried literally every challenge but the rotation pool one lmao, That one took me like 300+ tries wish i knew of this glitch before hand

I tried this glitch on the European version (got lucky with one tie before and one tie after doing the glitch) but it didn't work, Haruka still asking for the rotation. Looks like I gotta try the karaoke shit the hard way

Confirming a few moths later this still works playing ps4 version on a ps5.

 

Made a new save at the baccarat table with Haruka there asking to win 5000 chips.

Bet 1000 on a tie, save scummed a couple of times. (You can safely bet 1000 two times without reloading as you will win 8000 chips)

After winning I did NOT save right then and there, instead I left the Fukuma casino, left the underground red-light district, entering Purgatory/West Park.

I ran to the dog in West Park, it is near a burning trash can, bottom of the map, left of the exit to Kamurocho.

At the door next to the dog, chose “Create Clear Data” it will warns to save but I ignored that and created an entirely New Save file.

At the main menu, chose Premium Adventure and choose the clear data I just made.

Took Haruka with me from Serena, she was back to asking about a prickly baccarat battle.

Off to the same casino, made a save (New Save) and didn’t have to scum as I lost the first 1000 bet on a tie but won the second.

Quit out of baccarat when given the option to quit. Haruka gave the EX thank you dialogue and the bar went from SSS rank all the way to Ex and the trophy popped simultaneously!

Thank goodness for this. I actually breezed through her quests pretty well and decided to just do this just in case but see if I can still do the tasks. Well, beating the AI in pool would have taken me hours alone, and I'm not that bad at virtual pool, just the AI is insanely good it makes difficult long banking shots as if they were nothing. So seriously F that. Then there's ottometal ... THE INFAMOUS OTTOMETAL. Seriously prefer going back to the dentist so he could inject me with another shot in the mouth rather than face that again. With that being said it's doable. I just got a 930 to get the 900 requirement, but it took me nearly 100 attempts just to do that, my first 30 were consistently in the 700s until I broke through and kept getting 850 for a while before finally getting 870 then 890 and finally 930. Is it worth a few extra hours to get the 950? Well, if I had to at least I know I could, but since I don't have to, and know that I could, I've decided to heck with that and am moving on. Thank you glitch!

 

Just for comparison:

 

All three Kiryu songs took me 10 or less tries to get at least 900. The hostesses, one took me 12 tries, and the other took me 40 tries because I kept trying to get a perfect on the simple interjections before just doing the lively ones and it was much faster. So yeah, ottometal 100 or so tries. Just for comparison.

Did they patch this? I'm trying this and it doesnt work on US digital version. Playing it on Ps5 console. Girl keeps asking me for rotation on new premium clear save data. Anyone with recent experience?

Struggling to even get 800 on otometal for Harukas first karaoke request. Don't know what I'm doing wrong playing with simple interjections though as keep missing on lively, I only keep getting 750

Simple interjactions will only grade you out of 900. While on lively interjactions I would advise to listen to the song at least once and press the button to according to the rhythm (though the FPS feels sluggish on Karaoke minigame in my experience, you may have to press the buttons according to that delay when trying to match buttons).

Im about to start Yakuza kiwami after getting Yakuza LAD, Yakuza 6, Ishin and Yakuza K2 platinum trophies and I have a few questions. Besides keeping the haruka requests rank and allowing to get the climax battle rewards from Bob, does the option to create a new clear data keeps the Majima everywhere ranks, pocket racer progression and substory progression as well? Haruka requests in K2 where a pain but losing progression on everything else to glitch the last rank doesnt seen to be enough of a payoff if means losing progression on substories and Majima everywhere.

Went to revisit this game and do all of Haruka's request over again to try this since the trophy glitched on me the first time I went through the requests, but damn my luck with baccarat is trash this time around.

 

Played 10 hands initially, lost 6 to tie right off the bat, so I figured I'd bet on ties since I have financial luck equipped. Won one within 2 hands, so I did the save trick, figuring I would get at least one tie in 12 hands, given I got 7/12, despite only being 1/12 so far.

 

Stupidest decision of my life, because I was just wrong. When I went to do Baccarat again, I proceeded to only bet on tie and straight up lose for 3.5 hours straight. 130 hands, not a single tie. It was almost painful to see the first 2 cards tie, just for a 5th or 6th to be drawn and break the tie. I was either one card, or one point off in 94 hands (so about 72% of the time). PAINFUL to say the least. I hope nobody ever experiences that massive of a loss streak. I genuinely don't think I've ever spent so much time on one thing in a game with 0 progress as a result.

 

All that to say, it took more time for me to win 4k at baccarat again than to just do all of Haruka's requests.... YMMV and I really hope it does lol.

 

These games are still amazing, regardless of the unreal RNG.
