Unfortunately, this is the only skylander game that is unobtainable of the series. I am not tech savy, but like others here have said, in theory is it possible to spoof the news site in the same way saints row 3 and army of two? For a person w/o indepth knowledge it seems very simalar.

It should be noted that in the IGN preview, it was stated that it will be a seperate standalone game and that they will keep updating smite 1 and 2. So not like CSGO -> CS2 or OW1 -> OW2. As that seems to be the trend these days.
