Another Monday, another update!

 

Another week where I didn't follow my original plans. But read on....I did cross the 1% overall increase this week so happy about that!

 

Hitman 1 + DLC (5/8) - PS4

So my plan was to finish 1 DLC a week. But when I started playing the game, I couldn't stop anymore. I have finished now 5 DLC's and really loving this revisit of these destinations. In fact I think I found new ways of killing my targets. But since all my gaming time was spend here I didn't start the planned Uncharted : Lost Legacy.

I have a difficult week ahead of me in terms of time available for gaming. So not planning too much

- Finish up at least 1 DLC of Hitman 1

This week was still slow but had a final push of driving in Gran Turismo Sport and managed to earn myself the final level 50 ? and the Platinum ?!! That makes Platinum 33 and takes the pressure off any server nonsense. 
 

To celebrate, I decided to get the Witch Queen expansion for Destiny 2, despite having likely no new ? list coming, I really just wanted to see how the story continues and surprisingly still a big fan of the franchise, flaws and all. Hoping to try and earn whatever the Witch Queen title is like I did with last expansion. Also hoping to find home in a new clan that’s more active.

The last trophy of the week was in Fall Guys which was to win 7 episodes ? , caught the end of the finals marathon event which only starts with 6 players and win a couple.

 

This week my plan is to continue the Story in Red Dead 2 and probably try a bit of catching up / exotic weapon gathering on Destiny 2 as the expansion is about a week away!! 
 

oh and finally back over my starting %, yay!!

Update #6:

 

Dead Cells (86% -> 94%):

If you missed my mid-week update last week, go look at it. Lol, If you didn't, it's ok. You just won't know how much of a pro-gamer I am. ? Anyway, I finished ALL no hit bosses. There are some misc trophies remaining, and I will probably have to do a bunch of grinding for cells to unlock stuff. There are a couple random drops I need to get as well. Seems very unlikely I will get first 50 achievers for 100%, but at least there are a few trophies that I will be in first 50.

 

Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart: (58% -> 100%) :

Finished the grind! Great game. More fan-servicy than previous episodes, but since it's Noire and Noire is Best Girl it is fine. The grind was pretty real though. I really liked this style of gameplay. It had been a while since playing a Fire Emblem style game and I really enjoyed it. Need to find other games like it... Feel free to leave me recommendations below.

 

Doodle God: (0% ->100%) :

This was just a simple game I decided to knock out over the weekend for some quick points. I have a ton of easy/quick vita mini games like this and I think I am going to do one or two in between the longer games I play on vita.

 

Overall, a pretty good week. Hopefully RNG goes well with Dead Cells and I can put that to bed. Will do Lego DC Villians and I think AC2 after I finish it up. Plus FF14 when I can. Oh, and hopefully Demon Souls. Man. That game is great, I just don't have time. lol.

 

And I have completed a few challenges too:

Monday update.

 

Well I took a step or two backwards in this challenge as I added 2 new games this past week. Don't regret it one bit as both as a lot of fun and rather addicting to play. I also did manage to get both games above 50% already as well to minimize the impact.

 

Planet Coaster

This game had been in and out of my cart on the psn store like a yoyo in recent months as I had been wanting to play it but something always came up that I felt like buying just a teeny bit more at the time. So you can imagine I was pretty pumped when this came to Feb as a PS+ game. I am currently working through the career missions and having fun building weird coaster designs. Most of the trophies have been pretty easy so far but I am having a hell of a time trying to unlock "Crashing the Party" Create a coaster crash involving 300 guests and "You're a winner!" Win a Go Karts race while driving the kart. I feel like I have completed the requirements multiple times but so far I haven't been able to get them to pop. I'm not ready to give up on it just yet but did need a break after a couple evenings of trying to get these and coming up empty.

 

Everybody's Golf VR

I bought this game maybe a year ago, shortly after I picked up a steal of a deal on a PSVR unit. It had been sitting untouched up until this weekend when my son came across it and begged to try it out. So we loaded it up on a dummy account and played for a solid couple hours and had a lot of fun with it. After that I decided to hell with it Im adding it to my account as its just too much fun not to play more of it. Its the closest I will get to having my own golf simulator in my basement and I will get the platinum eventually just by playing a round or two here and there. I will need to get a little lucky with the hole in one trophy but it will come eventually.

 

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands

The only other game I played recently was this one and continued to work on the Fallen Ghosts dlc. There are maybe 4 or 5 missions left now and then some cleanup of the Rebel Ops missions left to do. Shouldn't take too long to do once @Man of Inaction and myself can get out schedules to work.

The 300 guests comes down to luck. I think I did it in free play and found a point where people were clogging up and it took some time to get the angle and enough people.

@kingofbattle8174 I had been doing exactly that in Sandbox mode (Freeplay), in a park with 1000+ guests and most of them clogging the area Im targeting. I expected the 300 easy when most of them get sent flying with the crashed coaster. I dunno knowing my luck though I'm only getting 299 guests with my coaster or it needs to be done in Career mode.

Okay, so I'm back finally. Back when I did my last update I was dealing with a lot of work and it just kinda spiraled into triggering my depression and then I did not have any energy nor will to game or do pretty much anything else. Some blank weeks later I decided to do some cleaning and organizing my collection, ended up creating a spreadsheet listing all my games and their difficulty levels and then this week I started using it to get some motivation back to game.

A decent week. Got the platinum in Freedom Wars, and it only took 7 years! It was part of my Winter Challenge list so it was nice to finally finish it off. Still making progress in Sifu. I'm taking my time with it, but even at my slow pace I should be able to plat it before Elden Ring comes out. Act it Out was on PS Now and took all of 30 mins to 100%. Good for a small PCG boost I guess, and it was "free" so whatever.  Still aiming for 51% before Elden Ring hits so I'll probably knock out a few more easy PS Now games to help with that.

Update 2 Week 6 AoC 22 (U2W6AoC22)

 

Hi all, and happy Monday.  I didn't get too much console gaming in this last week, but I did manage to start and finish a game from my backlog.  I finished the week at 84.08% up 0.10% from the 83.98% last week.  The game was Batman: The Telltale Series, which I got free through PS+ I think a few years ago now.

 

Batman: The Telltale Series (PS4):

This was a fun game, in the sense that the story was pretty interesting, (No spoilers here) and it wasn't really a challenging game.  No decision you make will effect trophies, or the overall story, just basically how other characters in the story would interact with you.  I can definitely see why Telltale games ended up folding.  This game was broken into 5 episodes, with each episode after the first one being classified as a DLC.  Now from my own personal experience working in QA for xbox games, I can say that DLC generally is allowed to have more issues than the main game.  The first episode was pretty well polished and looked great,  each episode after that got worse and worse in quality.  Things that should never have made it out the door, like how one of the officers batman was talking too, suddenly disappeared and never reappeared, or the mayor's secretary missing half her head.   I even tried exiting out the game and restarting it to see if these issues were my system or the game and every time I restarted they same issues occurred.  At least it was a free game.  Overall I enjoyed the game for the price I paid, though I think I would have been angry with all the issues had I bought the season pass or each episode individually to complete the game.

Is it too late to join this? A big goal of mine this year was to clean my percentage up. My current completion percentage is 51.22%. My goal for 2022 is to get it to 60%. Anything over that is a bonus. I’ve been doing this unofficially since the start of the new year (i was hovering right around 50% on the new year).

I don't see any reason you can't join us. The more people to share accomplishments and follow along on the journey the better IMO.

I am not sure if you will get added to the auto-tracker anymore this year but a lot of us keep track ourselves too and post updates weekly/monthly/whenever.

Id be interested to read more updates/reviews.

I did it in sandbox mode. I started a park with only one straight path and all the ride's queues directly off of it.  I built the start of one of the coasters that has the jet propelled start, but only the starting area, and oriented it such that it points directly down the straight main concourse pathway.  After I had 1000ish guests in the park I deleted the path that leaves the park so no one could get out. Then I closed all of the rides in the park so that everyone was crammed into the one single pathway. After that I turned my incomplete rocket coaster to test mode and watched the bodies fly!

 

I loved this game, glad to see more people get to appreciate it!

Not much going on as far as any percentage changes, just grinding away at Okami at the moment. Had to start from scratch since I last played on PS3 and those saves are long lost. Taking it slow so I don't miss anything, so it's going to be a good while before I finish it.

The only other game I've been playing is Don't Die Mr. Robot, and I have to get platinum on 15/ 50 more levels to finish that game. I'm close on a handful but the requirements are tough.

So like a fool, I've added several things.  Fortunately, I've put some time into Trials of Mana, as well as trying to commit to some old fighting games I never really did over the past few days.  I'm terrible at fighting games (really anything with a tight combo system actually) but I'm trying to get a bit better at them.

 

I did start, and complete, Sea of Solitude,  which is a nice little short game.  I'm doing the 3 month trial of EA Play, and so far it's the best game I've gotten off there.  OR it would be if It Takes Two wasn't so damn good.  I'll be starting Horizon Friday so I'm sure Trials and It Takes Two will get side lines for a minute.

In fat princess I only have 4 challenge levels and 6 regular levels left. Half way done with the match 5 grind and then I'm done. It's getting stupid with how unlucky my gem layouts been.

 

Making progress on a few trophies in street fighter x tekken. Platinum is a long shot for anyone that knows this list.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - Was 7% Now 34%

 

Enjoying the game a lot. Really different from the going slow and take your time like Dark Souls or Bloodborne. I just sprint and run from idle to idle with my grapple hook. Really unique way to play this game. But the bosses can sure be a challenge. Like damn I struggled on some for days. Main reason why I never finished it this week. But I should hopefully get it done next week. Want to get it done before Elden Ring comes out.

That is why I went with the ps4 version of j stars since the vita version is over $100.00. Unless it is lego game or something common forget it. But I have enough ps plus to keep me busy along with all the sales from a few years back that I went on a buying rampage.

Yea I spent 69 on call of duty and batman which is still cheaper online. But mortal kombat was like 50 and I wanted physical of god of war but that was 89. I have a lot too just crazy

Yea I was so dumb back then when I returned my pstv to gamestop. But oh well nothing I can do about it now since I will not be paying the cost of it now
