This is the next big open world Assassin's Creed RPG and it will be the first Assassin's Creed title to be current-gen exclusive. Described as Shinobi fantasy. We also got some info on Infinity. It's not a game, but a hub for future AC games. You'll use it to access single player Assassin's Creed games like Codename Red, as well as standalone multiplayer. The pitch is that Infinity is your animus. It also seems Codename Red won't feature modern day sections. It will take place in just the historical setting and at no point will you playing a character like Desmond or Layla. Viper Posted September 10, 2022 Share Posted September 10, 2022 Anyone who compares this with Ghost of Tsushima...didn't play GoT. As much as I'm an AC fan...GoT's writing is FAR better than anything AC has ever done, and AC has always been more of a hack and slash style of combat, GoT was slow and calculating, it's open world was deliberate and purposeful. The traversal is the one area AC is better at than it. So I never got the comparisons between the two. GoT felt like it's own game, it's own masterpiece. However, I'm someone who's loved the Origins trilogy, so I'm down for more of that gameplay style...just I want Ubisoft to calm it down a little bit.
