Winter 2022/2023 Backlog Challenge (signups open until December 31)

Ok, here goes nothing. 1st backlog challenge for me, and I've been meaning to get to some of these for a long while. Thank God I'm actually pledging to play these instead of letting them sit and collect dust lol.

 

Arcade Game Series: Dig Dug: 31% (PS4)

Cuphead: 7% (PS4)

Final Fantasy VII: 4% (PS4)

God of War (2018): 2% (PS4)

God of War: Chains of Olympus: 0% (PS3)

God of War: Ghost of Sparta: 0% (PS3)

God of War: Ragnarok: 0% (PS5)

Ico: 0% (PS3)

Limbo: 0% (PS4)

Shadow of the Colossus: 0% (PS3)

Shenmue: 3% (PS4)

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus: 0% (PS3)

Sly 2: Band of Thieves: 0% (PS3)

Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves: 0% (PS3)

Sonic Unleashed: 0% (PS3)

 

I'll most likely have the hardest time with Sonic Unleashed since Sonic games are not really something I'm very good at, but I've got three months to get through it so I think I'll be able to manage. I'm also super glad I started getting through the GoW series last month, those are some amazing games (and Ascension). Shadow of the Colossus is a game that I platinum'd on PS4, but I'm aware I have to collect ALL fruit and kill ALL the shining lizards, so wish me luck there. 

 

Just a heads up, if I do get through all of these with time to spare, I'll be adding more games to the list, but I'm not quite sure what yet.

Unfortunately, I got a bit overanxious and pushed Wytchwood up to 34%, which is more than the 33% allowed.   Here is my new list for the event:

Ok, I’ve done so badly at completing my Fall list. I’m going to add a couple of the games from that list to my Winter list before it’s too late to change. My new list is

I haven’t participated in one of these backlog challenges since the last fall/ winter event, so it’s about time I make a proper return to my backlog. I’m focusing on a mixture of games: some I’ve already started, a couple from the revamped PS+ service, and one from my digital collection that’s been begging for attention. With it being the holiday season, my list will probably change a bit before the end of February, but I aim to complete these five first.

Put some thoughts into my list this time around, was stuck at 4 games for some time but finally found another I want to get done from my backlog.

Sometimes a chill and silly game like that is exactly whats right for the mood. Going to add this to my backlog at some point.
