Now, the internet has spotted the line-up of games for the unannounced Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2. Twitter user Nitroid spotted that inspecting the Metal Gear Solid timeline page on the official Metal Gear Solid website reveals placeholder buttons for Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. While this is hardly conclusive of anything, here's some additional context for why it's suspicious: pic.twitter.com/2zPbbKTL79 — Nitroid ❗ (@Nitroid) June 22, 2023 IGN understands this lineup for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is accurate and has asked Konami for comment. So IGN's corroborating the leak, and from what they've heard the lineup will include MGS4, MGS: Peace Walker, and MG5. I'm guessing Ground Zeroes will also be included as a prologue to 5. It should be noted that IGN corroborating that these games will be part of Vol. 2 does not mean that they are only games that will be part of Vol. 2. IGN commented that the leak is accurate, not that it's the full lineup. Obviously we shouldn't expect an official announcement till after Vol. 1 has been released, but I wonder how much longer after that. Early 2024 maybe? You don't want to miss anything because you needed to use the bathroom or had to step away to do something like take a phone call. Having recently got all trophies for GZ/TPP, and finding MGS4 to be bad, from what I've gathered over the years, Portable Ops would be the only thing I'd be interested in. I thought it was only the two msx games. I used to own both the nes games anyway but I’ve never played the msx games so was looking forward to trying those. savageamusement Posted June 22, 2023 Share Posted June 22, 2023 Of course it's an essential purchase, cause it's Metal Gear, but I've sunk too many hours into MGS5 due to the online mother bases (and didn't want to spend money on microtransactions) and don't particularly want to go through all that again. Thinking back to all that time building up good karma to lose a load of it on some of the late game missions was also very annoying. Hoping (though unlikely) there's a volume 3 for the off shoot games - Twin Snakes, Portal Ops, Acid 1&2, game boy colour. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
