It’s clever to think before you act, not doing so cost me access to a decade old PSN account four years ago (never again!). With that said, I do believe it’s disgusting all your purchased goods and services from the PlayStation Store can be stripped away should you violate their terms even slightly and they decide a permanent ban is the most appropriate consequence for said minor infringement. This exactly. On of my best friends on PSN lost his main account a few years ago to something ridiculous. He used a third party piece of digital media. Something to do with playing a musical theme on his PS4 which he downloaded, and Sony banned him permanently for that. I don't remember the exact details, but it was all above board. And he had spent $1000's of dollars on his account because he played Rock Band and other games like that. My friend did absolutely nothing wrong, and lost a ton of his paid-for content. But Sony being the dickheads that they are, banned him. And you can't reason with Sony, because they are never wrong and know everything, right? Another exception being music, especially material (mostly consisting of mixtapes and time-limited singles/EPs) that is nowhere to be found on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music (from the "releases" tab on an artist's official YouTube channel or an auto-generated "*insert title here* - Topic" channel via the standard platform) and so on.
