I spent all of February playing AC3 for my trophy hunting fix. I hated it. Don't get me wrong, I love the story of AC3. I was hooked on it back when I played it for the first time in 2013. Unfortunately, coming back to the game in 2024 to do cleanup was unbearable. I spent 65 hours on this game including 100% on all sequences. The whole game runs like a diabetic turtle on PS3, the constant loading in and out of cut-scenes and maps is unbearable. By far, getting 100% game completion is excruciatingly long and tedious where you have to complete everything there is to see and do in the map. The homestead tasks you to view every action from the NPC's dotted around the area. I don't know who at Ubisoft thought it would be a good idea for the player to sit around waiting for day time so they can then instead wait around during the day time and follow NPC's around to watch them do activities. This is a notoriously buggy trophy which I lucked out on but it still took 3 hours of aimless walking and waiting around for me to complete. There are over a dozen naval missions which are horrible to play in AC3. The optional objectives make it so you have to have a fully upgraded ship to even stand a chance so I just returned when I saved up enough £ to buy all the upgrades. I am coming off playing AC4 last year where the ship combat was the highlight of the game for me. The DLC is fantasy 'what if' versions of the base game. Honestly, the powers you get in the DLC made it so hard to go back to the base game because any time you get notorious you have to spend 5 minutes clambering the rooftops or running away to avoid the enemies. The DLC let you use special powers to avoid enemies or kill them all in one hit. Finally, I completed the online for this game before the servers closed about 2 years ago and it was not too bad of a grind compared to AC4. The online related trophy in Campaign is also a buggy trophy that thankfully popped for me. I have been on a bit of a Assassin's Creed kick lately. I think the next AC game I will be playing is Liberation or Rogue. I think it's time I play a Vita game so I might cross UMVC3 off the list for my next completion. I won't make it another 3 months for my next completion, that's for sure lol.
Popular Post dieselmanchild
Tier 1 Slender: The Arrival - (2.19% 💯) Battlefield 3 - (2.74%/0.89%) Vessel - (2.67% 💯) Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 - (3.70%/0.43%) Outlast - (1.37% 💯) Tier 2 OlliOlli World (PS4) - (1.28%/0.49%) - BOUNTY Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (PS5) Moto Racer 4 Ziggurat Sonic Mania ===== Outlast - 1.37% “Little Pig… Little Pig… No more escape.” Words that will haunt me for years to come. In Outlast, you play as Miles Upshur, an investigative journalist who receives a disturbing tip off about some nefarious going-ons taking place at the Mount Massive psychiatric hospital which he, of course, decides to go and see for himself. And, of course, the place just happens to be super creepy, in the middle of nowhere, without power, and oh yeah…. totally overrun with homicidal maniacs and psychos and deranged patients who all happen to be Guinea pigs for the evil Murkoff corporation and the twisted human experiments it’s conducting there in secret. In other words, Miles’ little asylum adventure goes downhill very quickly. This game is pretty famous for its no-combat gimmick. Instead you spend most of your time fumbling around in the pitch black darkness, using the night vision on your camera and limited batteries scattered throughout the environment to guide you through this hell hole without attracting too much attention to yourself. When you are spotted, you have little option but to run away to safety, or to try to hide or sneak away, and this all leads to some surprisingly intense and terrifying scenarios that will get your heart pumping. For a game with such a simple concept and simple mechanics, it’s all put together very well and pulled off quite brilliantly. It’s quite effective as far as horror games go. Of course, the Outlast games are also famous for their “Insane” difficulty, a permadeath mode where batteries for your camera are extremely scarce. Both the main game & the Whistleblower DLC each have such a trophy and both offer a really fun challenge. Although they are about the same length overall, I found the DLC to be far easier and managed it on my first try. I died half a dozen times in the main campaign though, and realize in retrospect that I would have benefited from a quick playthrough on Nightmare, or at the very least some chapter select. All my deaths were the result of not practicing and simply having no idea where to go or what to do at certain points. The good news is the encounters in this game are extremely scripted and the game is quite short when you rush through it, so with a little prep these trophies aren’t too bad at all. I had a blast with this one and so I’m definitely planning on taking a crack at Outlast 2 later this year. I’ve heard that one is much longer, much more random, and much more challenging, so I hope I’m up for it! #379 - OlliOlli World (PS4) - 1.28% OlliOlli World is an incredibly well made game and one of the best indies I’ve had the pleasure of playing. The graphics are great, the controls are smooth, the levels are cleverly designed, and the mechanics have a whole lot of depth. This is a game with an experience that can be as shallow or as deep as you want it to be. It’s very easy for just about anybody of any skill level to just pick up and play for fun, but at the same time the skill ceiling in this game is very high, so players who really put in the time and effort to master the mechanics will be amply rewarded with an incredibly satisfying end game and a chance to compete with pro players around the world. One of my favourite features in this game was the inclusion of a “replay” system. I was complete trash when I started, and so being able to watch the replays of high scores or people on my friend’s list was incredibly beneficial and really helped me pick up on some tricks and learn the best routes through maps etc. I don’t have a lot to say as far as negatives go. One of my only complaints with this game has to do with the pacing. The game felt very fair and balanced throughout the first few biomes and introduced new concepts gradually, but once you reach Sketchside and the game officially introduces the concept of manuals there was a huge difficulty spike. The local hero scores increase from a few hundred thousand to millions of points, and you’re expected to combo entire levels and loop gnarly routes from that point on to even stand a chance. The tracks get way more complex, and at the same time, the game introduces a lot of hidden mechanics around momentum, jumps, and timing that are never explained but are crucial in being able to platinum the game. Make no mistake, this game is quite tough. Regarding trophies, the big ones for most people are winning an online league tournament, and the end-game Radysus challenges. If you’re able to 100% all 5 biomes and complete the DLCs then you will definitely have the skills needed to do this, but those challenges will still be a big test of perseverance for a lot of people as some of them can be very tricky. I had a wonderful time with OlliOlli World though and am looking forward to checking out the first 2 games in the future. I may even stack the PS5 version of this before the end of the year (if it’s allowed) since I had a lot of fun and know I could do a lot better the 2nd time around. ===== Well that is Tier 1 complete for me! On to Tier 2. Thanks for reading! & good luck to everybody on their UR endeavours. 🙂 Edited March 3 by dieselmanchild
Popular Post Walt the Dog
Omega Quintet (EU): 100% (https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/3554-omega-quintet/Wdog-999) Not that bad of a plat, albeit I did have some DLC to sorta carry me through some stuff (especially a paid currency pack which let me basically never have to grind for currency). Other than that, the game is in a bit of an odd spot difficulty-wise. The game wants to be hard, but also the odds are generally stacked in your favor a lot (for one, spamming the same combination of elemental moves over and over again and finishing off with a few physical skills and a AoE special can basically OHKO most enemies and even boss battles), so the game makes up for this with essentially bullshit. Namely, the game has an Order Break feature where after fulfilling certain conditions, enemies can jump to the top of the turn order and essentially get a free turn. On its own, not particularly bad and in the few fights where it isn't used absolutely horribly, it's actually a decent mechanic to give tougher bosses a fighting chance against the might of skill spam. Where it goes wrong, however, is in two ways; 1) enemies seem to mostly use nothing but specials when they Order Break, making it very easy for them to just outright nuke you and 2) one of the conditions for this is having under a certain number of enemies on the field (the minimum usually being 3-4 to avoid this), which will activate not only expectedly when you off enemies (most bosses having a collection of smaller enemies around to facilitate this), but also when you so much as spawn into a battle with less than the minimum. Given these two factors and the fact that starting enemy counts in battle are semi-random and not telegraphed in any way before a fight starts, this often means you can end up waltzing into a mob battle and get completely nuked before you can so much as move because the game decided you only get to fight two enemies. This, alongside the need to use SP to do anything resembling real damage (ideally, you want to OHKO most fights to avoid additional order breaks), means that you spend a good majority of the game just not really bothering to fight except when you absolutely have to for side quests and boss battles since by the time SP becomes less of an issue, the possibility of Turn 1 Order Breaks infects basically every battle, forcing an absurdly cautious level of play where you pretty much have to save between damn near every battle in case this is the one where you get nuked and, even if you survive the ordeal, still have to deal with the cost of outfit damage (another reason to not battle much since outfit repairs can get pretty expensive as you upgrade the dress to hold more amp equips). Aside from that, the main sticking points for the plat are having to play through the entire game + the post-game on Advanced (among other things, this inflates the Order Break frequency quite a bit), having to do every single quest of which there are plenty of missables, and having to deal with some random grinds such as affection levels for all five maidens, killing 10000 enemies, and grinding out your approval rating to 1 billion. The former two grinds can thankfully be turboed pretty easily, though the approval does have to be done manually, albeit it's a bit easier than it looks since with the right setup, you can get 16-22M approval per battle to speed things up considerably. The quests are mostly just a matter of having to pretty much prioritize subquests at all times to avoid triggering any story events which could lock off and/or expire quests. Mostly not that bad except for one time where I did a main quest and sub quest at once, turned in the main before the sub, and locked myself out of turning in the sub quest. Even worse, I didn't realize my error until I had saved, forcing me to redo pretty much the entire chapter over again since my last save was at the endboss of the previous chapter. 🫠 In any case, the JP and KR versions should be done soon to finish off my Tier 2 (been working on them alongside the EU version, so not much left in either of them) and then a bit of a break before Tier 3 since I have Plat 900 and Trophy 40,000 coming up and the plat I have in mind for them is very much outside of UR status. Popular Post Wild-Arms-R
Popping in to give a up because it's been a hot min since I posted in here. I finished the Single player portion of GTA5 and I got to say I was not expecting to spend damn near all my gaming time on it for the month of February. Game has wonky controls, time consuming after time consuming side activities and lots of American culture satire humor...but I love it and really consider it a remarkable game, especially in today's gaming climate. I'll have to do a proper write up it when ever I finish the game fully. Also thanks everyone for actually doing write ups of your own, it's been nice seeing everyone's experiences thus far in the year. 🙂 TIER 1: The Last Guardian 3.08✅ Crash 4(PS4) 3.72 Fight N' Rage(PS4) 1.58 Pac Man Championship Edition 2 1.26 Grand Theft Auto 5 1.95(PS4) TIER 2: Soulstice(PS4) 1.36 Skullgirls 2nd Encore 0.82 Gauntlet 2.13 Jay and Silent Bob Mall Brawl 0.78 Pocky and Rocky Reshrined *No plat 2.51 TIER 3: Trine 2 Complete Story 1.82 Odallus 4.61 Trials Rising 2.65 20XX 1.67 Fast Strikers(NA) 1.52 TIER 4: Wanted Dead(PS4) 0.00 CoD Black Ops III(PS4) 0.74 Shadow Warrior 2 4.00 Slime San(NA) 4.14 Thumper(PS4) 3.04:
Popular Post francis1289RPT
Sharing my first entry. ✌️ Tier 1: 1. Sniper Ghost Warrior - 1.52% 2. Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 - 4.91% 3. Sniper Elite VR - 3.87% 4. Sniper Elite 3 - 3.67% (100%) 5. Sniper Elite 4 - 3.11% (100%) I was doing a backlog UR clean up and just decided to finish off the Sniper games in 1 go. So I did a marathon of both Sniper series (SGW and SE). 5 UR plats out of 10. I also finished Marvel's Iron Man VR this January but decided to included these 5 Sniper games instead. I love doing marathons of game series but I only prefer 1 region (NA) and 1 platform (Depends, usually I go for the remastered or higher platform stack for best quality and to enjoy the game much better.) Not sure if SGW2 counts because only the platinum trophy is Ultra Rare, but if not then I'll replace it with Marvel's Iron Man VR Platinum & 100% instead.

Popular Post Walt the Dog
Omega Quintet (JP): 100% (https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/2940-オメガクインテット/Wdog-999) Same story as the EU version. On a bonus note, while all three of the OQ stacks I went through have been on my profile for a bit since I technically started my triple plat run back in 2020 only to stop one episode in, this one has been on my profile for the longest by far since I actually imported it sometime around release way back in the day (even got the Famitsu DX pack, whose tapestry I had on my bedroom door for a good while before I finally found sufficiently SFW Neptunia tapestries to put in its place ), so it's neat to finally have it done and platinumed after all this time. Just have to go through what's left of the Korean version and I can finally have the Omega Quintet quad plat done (of all games to not have the now-standard CH 5-region stackfest... 🤣). As for plans after this, while I'm still bound by my non-UR plans for Plat #900/Trophy #40000, I'll be at 39912 trophies after the OQ stackfest is done and my planned milestone game has 50 trophies on hand, so I'll have a margin of 38 trophies to fill, one of which needs to also be a plat to get to 899 of those. I might consider finding something I can churn out to get another point for this (or at least make progress towards such), especially with my UR count being so close to 1000 (KR OQ plat should put it at 993 assuming nothing in my collection gets shuffled in or out of UR) that I'm kinda itching to get that sorta-milestone over with just to finally be able to join the quad-digit club.
Popular Post CabDK
N++ my 4th Tier 1 game. A brutally hard platformer with more than 1000 levels to complete. Most of the game was a great experience, although some of the x-levels are more frustrating than fun, but it felt rewarding to complete every single one of them. All in all a great platformer with a lot of content, challenging and fun levels. Thank you @Nauticus87for recommending this game and support. Popular Post Enzo
My 2nd Tier 1 game is finally completed. Sonic Unleashed is one of my favorite games in a long time and the childhood nostalgia this game brought back was amazing. I loved every second of this game aside from some of the Werehog's parts since the camera sucks and I will say the Werehog suffers from all the game's weaknesses the most, making his levels the most tedious and most annoying to complete. Also, this game features more glitches than I can count on one finger allowing you to glitch through walls. go double the speed you should be able to go and even jumping and skipping whole levels. While I didn't use a lot of them aside from the double-speed technique I would say the game is a lot easier than I was expecting especially since I suck at platformers! This game is incredible and I recommend everyone try it.
Popular Post Shyjun
I finally got the motivation to finish the trophies I had left on the PS4 stack of Dead by Daylight. Since the progress is saved server-side you cannot avoid autopopping trophies between PS4 and PS5 versions (hence no double bounty) but I still had some trophies that didn't autopop. Still I am glad to be now up-to-date on this list too. It gives me a 4th entry (and maybe a 5th one depending on the rules) for my Tier 1. Tier 1: 1/ Slay the Spire (3.54%) Q3 Bounty 2/ Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (3.56%) 3/ Dead by Daylight PS5 (DLC Pack 34 - Shine on trophy 4.91%) Q4 Bounty 4/ Dead by Daylight PS4 (0,30%) - Mostly autopop 5/ Dead by Daylight • Additional Chapters (0,13%) - Mostly autopop @Copanele Since the PS4 stack is divided into two trophies list, does it still counts as one entry or is it two entries for the challenge? I will update my post if need be.

Feels nice to have it out of the way considering I've been putting it off for so long. Hardly the worst thing to do on my quest for all the Compile Heart plats, but it's one of the most annoying PS4 games at least (assuming Touhou Spell Carnival and/or the upcoming M2 collab shmup don't have any curveball trophies...), so it's at least a nice hurdle to jump over.
Popular Post InfinateEternity
Hi, all! Congrats on all your successes! It's been about 2 months since I last posted. But, I finally have my second game done! Tier 1 - Game 2: Wake-Up Club Wake-Up Club is a F2P game available to all PS Vita owners that's essentially an alarm clock simulator. You set an alarm within the game for the time of your choice, and "wake up" when they go off by tapping your PSN avatar when it flashes on the screen. When you are awake, you'll find yourself in a lobby with up to 11 other people (shown by their PSN avatars) who had set an alarm at the same time as you. If all 12 people in the lobby are awake within 5 minutes of your alarms (including you), the "Wake-up Club" will be considered successful. AI bots will appear in lobbies too, if human players can't be found, and you can wake the bots up yourself. There's really no true difficulty involved gameplay-wise, and I would agree with the trophy guide's estimate of this being a 1/10. However, some of the trophies also require at least one other real player to be present - including the game's singular gold trophy (which requires a full lobby of 12 real people). So, coordinating that may be logistically difficult without boosting, given the game's age. But, if you are able to get all the multiplayer trophies done, the grind to get the rest of the 100% is a breeze, and can be done with bots & by setting alarms every minute. Finally, given how easy Wake-Up Club is, its "Ultra-Rare" 100% could easily edge into "Very Rare" status. So, in the spoiler below, I've included a screenshot of the game's singular UR trophy (and UR 100%), just in case. Spoiler Tier 1: 1) SoulCalibur 5 (PS3) | - Rarity: 2.68% | Earned: 2024-01-04 2) Wake-Up Club (PS Vita) | UR Trophy Earned: Best Pals | 💯 - Rarity: 4.36% | Earned: 2024-03-07

Popular Post kraven_15
Off to a slow start, so first entry for the year is: Q*bert Robooted. I remember playing this on the original NES for about 2 minutes and walking away however, now in my older age, I quite enjoyed it. It's broken up into two parts... Classic and Rebooted. Rebooted is a revamped and updated version of the old game with different board shapes and the ability to save between each level. Definitely the easier set of trophies. Completing this mode doesn't really prepare you for the main challenge. Classic is really the only thing that might hold some people back. You need to complete level 5, which is a total of 18 rounds all up. There's no saving between rounds and it's very easy to make dumb mistakes. The only tip I can give is to learn the fastest way to fill in the bottom 3 corner squares for each round. This will make your journey much less infuriating. Tier 1: 1 - Q*bert Rebooted (100%) (0.35%) 2 - Little Nightmares (0%) (3.06%) 3 - Earthworm Jim (47%) (0.73%) 4 - Xcom 2 (1%) (0.39%) 5 - Yakuza Kiwami (0%) (3.5%)
