Popular Post Exstruh
Tier 1 Gran Turismo Sport - 0.99%. This was my 100th plat! A lot of ups and downs on the journey to this plat including getting account banned 2x and some nice stick drift on one of my controllers, no need to go in to detail on that though🤣. Online wasn't too bad had lots of fun making a name for myself in the community, driving the same circle track 4000 times for level 50 on the other hand was not fun and I can't think of anything more boring in my life before this, I would come home from work and fall asleep midway through the 2nd race when I would be aiming for 10 a day, made the grind for the plat so much more gruesome than needed. Anywho finished a week before server closure, GG😈.
Popular Post Walt the Dog
CarX Drift Racing Online (https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/10117-carx-drift-racing-online/Wdog-999) More or less just a grind. The closest thing to a skill-based trophy in the game is the one for getting every gold cup, which would be daunting were it not for the fact that not only can you just do it in time trials instead of having to properly get used to the drifting, but there are some cars (such as my choice, the Kei Truck) whose time targets are absurdly generous to the point where it is borderline impossible to not get gold just for completing the track, with a special shout out to the gold times which exceed the universal 5 minute time limit you're given for each event, making said gold times literally impossible to overshoot. While most of the grind is doable in a few dozen hours (I would estimate most of the plat was about a 30-hour affair), the grind to Level 30 is the real plat-killer since you either have to properly get used to the drifting and do a fairly precise drift for like 5-10 hours to get like 3-6k XP per drift depending on performance or your next best option is to go into an online lobby and drift in a circle for hundreds of hours to slowly rack up XP until you reach the 6.7M needed for the maximum level. I could never get used to the drifting enough to be able to do the needed corner for the fast method and I do love me some weeks-long idle grinds to make my off-time feel at least a bit productive trophy-wise (probably why I like doing the pachinko plats on PS3 so much ), so I ended up sacrificing my PS5 for a solid 2 weeks to get this done. A bit more painful than the usual background idle grinds since this particular one meant if I wanted to play PS4 games, I had to not only scurry over to my PS4, but also play the game offline to not kick out the PS5. Could've theoretically just played PS3/Vita stuff to make it easier, but I never had the urge to do that during the grind, unfortunately. Speaking of PS4, I ended up modifying my self-boosting setup a bit by taking more advantage of my ultrawide monitor setup to have a PS4 hooked up alongside my computer, making PS4 self-boosts a fair bit more practical now that I don't have to swivel between my monitor and my TV when I need to keep tabs on both screens. While this didn't actually help much for CarX (despite the large online grind, the vast majority can be done solo, with only five matches needing to be done with someone else for a trophy), this did spur me to finally get to Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, which I took care of during a long weekend to get a break from the infinite drifting in CarX. It's not quite done yet, but I've got all the absurd grinds done, meaning it's just down to the weekly tournaments for 100%. Got through two so far, but I got completely bodied in both, so I still need another one to get my last two matches. Hoping that can be done this weekend so I can get up to 4 games done before my first month is up. Aside from that... not much else actually going on in terms of games I actually expect to complete. Been working on cleanup for Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- as part of my "clean up some random PS4 online grinds while I have the two-console, one-monitor setup" initiative, but I have a feeling the missions and/or M.O.M. mode are gonna do me in, particularly the former. Barely managed the 300 challenges even with the two DLC characters + a bit of save backup trickery to get to Sin's challenges (and his exclusive trophy) without having to actually commit to the W$200,000 price tag on him, so I've got a feeling I'll struggle to get anywhere close to 30/60 S-ranks on the missions. Got a nice completion boost out of going through it, though. Was also considering doing Blazblue CSE (Vita), but that's definitely gonna be a hit-and-run for the online stuff + whatever random URs I can snag easily from the character trophies because some of the stuff in the character trophies and even some of the basic combos for the 100 challenges intimidate the hell out of my fighter-noob ass. I basically clam up the moment a move chain has more than like 4 or 5 inputs and Ragna's character trophy alone has like 15 of them. 🫠 Edited January 26 by Walt the Dog
Popular Post Kcrack_Km
First cab off the rank. I've been cleaning up the backlog since late December, B4B being the first UR. Nightmare and No Hope were exactly like their name's sake but I had plenty of fun regardless. If you play offline, you can quickly quit before you get wiped and basically have unlimited continues, just do some early hive grinding for better weapons/attachments. Now back to getting my ass kicked by Lumines. >_> 1. Back 4 Blood 2. Lumines Remastered 3. 4. 5.
Popular Post MoreFuego
TIER 1 UPDATE #3: 1) Limbo (VITA) - 3.44% Rarity (Completed 7th January) 2) Outlast - 1.35% Rarity (Completed 22nd January) 3) The Finals - 0.05% Rarity (Completed 25th January) My latest completion goes to The Finals, a game that held my attention all the way to the end. The gunplay, mechanics and overall smoothness of the game made me fall in love with it. A great FPS arena shooter that is all about money. I played the game casually and competitively too. For grinding the 50 million trophy, I played "Bank it" which is the mode I would spent majority of my time on. The game consists of 4 teams of 3 battling out to get 40k for the win. it is the most efficient way to get money, however it is much much faster with a good winning team. I played the other game modes, "Tournaments", "Cashout" and "Ranked" which imo is the best way to experience this game! Unfortunately, not the best way to earn money. Playing those modes early on helped me get a grasp on the game especially ranked, I was able to reach Platinum rank, and that helped me for the chaos that is bank it mode. I would tag my teammates here cause I had a couple of them, but it brings attention and idk if they want that right now lol, but if you look at the leaderboards, pretty much the top 30 are people I played with. I took the role of the Medium build in this game using recon ability. My job was to scout out for enemies and basically hunt them down, or look to see if a place is safe for my team to deposit money. My teammates were usually lights that rushed the money vaults and made us win the game faster. I'm happy to say that once we found our builds and strategies, we were able to win 90-95 percent of our games! The only losses we would take are from PC try hards or other trophy hunters going for the plat lol! At the end of it all, I met some really cool people and we were able to bond during this grind. Very proud of this one right here, this is the first FPS that caught my attention for this long since Apex years ago! I really recommend this game to anyone who wants a very fun FPS shooter! Next: Most likely Outlast 2, I already played this game plenty of times before, so hopefully that's next!

Popular Post VersusCA
Two more on the pile for me: Tier 3: Disco Elysium PS4 - *Bounty Game* 25/1/24 Birds of Steel - 19/1/24 Disco is a great game and you shouldn't be intimidated by the various difficulty/time estimates on the internet. With the right guide it is effectively 1/10 difficulty because you are just pointing, clicking, reloading saves - there's no actual combat system for you to have to learn, and you can save pretty much endlessly. Time requirements are also massively overstated. I've seen some estimate into the 100+ hour mark but my first platinum last year was around 45 and this time it was 25. Trueachievements guide was what I used for the most part, but the gamefaqs one looks good too and has the benefit of having more images/shorter paragraphs! Birds of Steel was a good time too, and very short! I did the multiplayer last year but cleaning up the single player was probably like an 8 hour process, very reasonable. It's far, far above the Air Conflicts games in terms of production value. Edited January 27 by VersusCA
Popular Post Dzware
Finished Monster Hunter World last week! I had trouble initially to fully get into the game, as the main hub can get a little overwhelming with how much stuff there is to pay attention to, and because of the time estimates for the plat. Luckily both of those things turned out to not be nearly as bad as it looks. While there are a lot of options to create items and upgrade gear, I could pretty quickly figure out which options are actually useful or not. I mostly enjoyed my story playthrough, with every monster being new and a genuine threat, so it was fun figuring out their behaviours and attack patterns. After I finished the story though, the game slowly became more boring, as killing the same monsters over and over for better upgrade materials or crown farming is pretty monotonous. Overall I never got truly fed up with the game though. Crown hunting looked very intimidating from the start, but nowadays there's multiple guaranteed crown events and multiple large events with much higher chances of getting crowns. So after all this there were only 11 crowns needed out of 56 to hunt the old fashioned way, so not too bad. Took me 140h in total, so definitely don't let the old 300h guide estimate scare you off! Just one more game left in Tier 1. Still have ME down for it, but decent chance I'll finsh something else first, as I'm absolutely terrible at those time trials lol. Tier 1 Dead or Alive 5 (PS3, 0.52%) - 100% MotoGP 09/10 (PS3, 0.81%) - 100% Limbo (Vita, 3.44%) - 100% Monster Hunter World (PS4, 4.67%) - 100% Mirror's Edge (PS3, 0.66%) - 63%
Popular Post maisie666
DEADBOLT 1.89%. 3rd game of tier 1 finished. 1. Broforce 2. Dustforce 3. Deadbolt. I bought this game full price at release 6 years ago expecting a reprise of Risk of Rain, and was massively disappointed, failing to finish even the first level. It jumped out at me a week or so ago, fired it up and was pleasantly surprised . Its an amazing game in its own right, a miami-like twitch shooter, with tough levels, and some challenging trophies. Mainly the big one is Famine, where the game has to be completed in 1 hour with no way to pause the timer once you start. Expect to spend dozens of hours replaying levels trying to figure out a predictable route that is relatively risk free but fast enough. Given that its 1 hit death and 27 levels, its hard to walk that line, and the pressure to take more risky routes to claw time back increases every time you screw up. Pretty fun challenge. I died to the final boss, and made it with about 30 secs to spare. The plot is interesting, the gameplay is fun, and the challenge is fair. I m happy i finally got around to it. Popular Post Walt the Dog
God of Rock (PS5) (https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/21752-god-of-rock/Wdog-999) This game caught my eye since it's a hybrid of a rhythm game and a fighter. Hard to speak on how it is as a fighter since I basically only played the game against a second controller the whole time, but the rhythm part is... fine. Fairly basic rhythm game, which admittedly makes sense considering you also have to keep an eye on what your opponent is doing as well as input commands for special attacks. The fact that there's only one chart per song (each song has an easier chart as well, but it's locked to practice for whatever reason) is also a bit of a bummer. The game has custom chart support, but AFAIK no way to actually share the charts other than happening to play against a person whose chart you wanna play and hoping they pick it, never mind that I'm of the opinion that custom chart support doesn't really make up for having proper chart choices to begin with (Sturgeon's Law and all that). As for the plat itself, it is incredibly easy and quick to the point that I fully expect this to stop being UR relatively soon, with only the need for grinding online on dead servers slowing things down. Most of the list is easy enough by just playing against a second controller, self-boosting, or even going into training mode for some of the trophies, and for the few trophies where that's not enough, the aforementioned custom chart functionality makes it a cinch to get done anything rhythm related, particularly since a chart consisting of a long hold can take care of just about everything thanks to holds giving Flawless hits for every quarter beat passed regardless of how you hit the start of the note. In any case, I guess my first tier should be done soon and it's not even February yet. Here's hoping I can get my last tournament for VF5 tonight or else that's gonna stretch into February. 🤞 EDIT: Tournament couldn't commence as usual. Guess I'm just waiting for next weekend and unless I can pull something else out of my ass, Tier 1 is getting done next month. 😣 Edited January 28 by Walt the Dog

Just one more game left for my tier 1!! My fourth entry is for Outlast 2, a game that I had played in my past but a game that is pretty good despite the flaws it had within. The game itself is gruesome and combines many horror elements along with religious cult stuff involved! The atmosphere of the game is great especially the school levels which I think are the best parts of the game personally. I don’t wanna spoil too much of this game, but the heretic chases along with hallucinations of the school was also great. Martha in the beginning was terrifying, and many scenes were just too evil that you were just in awe of the crazy shit here lol. Yes there was a lot of good in this game, but the bad stands out too. Stamina is horrible for this game imo, chases could’ve been a lot more endurance based, some areas are way too dark, getting lost easily. The story despite being pretty wild, doesn’t have much an effect on me as I thought it would. The boat/raft part was pointless imo, just slowed the game down. And there’s also a lot of pointless levels because you just walk way too much, at times like this I wish it was more like Outlast 1 Overall, solid game but the trophies were pretty rough but thanks to an amazing outlast 2 insane guide, was able to get it in my fourth attempt. The wagon, mines and the maze in the library were some of the more tougher parts for me, YT guides have made it much easier especially since the difficulty has gotten reduced via patches over the years. Game is still a solid 7/10 difficulty wise cause of the heretics still getting you even if you did everything correctly in avoiding them. Good thing the game isn’t combat based and more of stealth than anything. I recommend this if you’re into a decent horror game!

Just as easy as it was the last time I did it and at that, I was also treated to considerably stabler servers (plus not having to grind negative rep again since I still had the server where I was at -200 already) as well as there being a proper trophy guide for the game this time to massively cut down on my wiki crawling and other random research compared to my go at the NA stack last year. Frankly wasn't expecting to have this done within a day, but it went a whole lot faster than I remembered it going last time. To be honest, I was very intimidated by the Doomsday Heist-trophies for many years and almost gave up on the 100% without ever trying. I hadn't played GTA in like six years but the GTA VI announcement couple weeks ago really made me want to get this done. I now also thought of starting GTA IV before it is too late and the servers close forever – especially since there are glitches which allow to level up in like 5-10 hours. My total playtime is little over 300 hours, but the Doomsday Heist-DLC only took me around 25 hours of which a few are loading time I am sure. Well there is not much to say about this game other than you should really go for it if you haven't already. Holds up quite well for its age, even though the age is starting to show, especially if you have played Red Dead Redemption 2 by now. I also heard that the Rockstar Editor is shutting down soon, so if you haven't finished this you should hurry up. Super easy but takes some time (like anything else in this game). Tier I: (2/5) 1) Generation Zero (PS4) 2) Grand Theft Auto V (PS4) 3) …? Popular Post Dzware
Just finished the Mafia II DLCs last night, which means Tier 1 is done! I enjoyed the main game a few years ago, but coming back to the DLC was a bit of a chore. For the most part it's just a bunch of tacked on side missions, with a couple really dumb grinds on top of it. One of those grinds being the only UR trophy in the game, which is driving 1000 miles. Doing all 34 missions in this DLC will only get a little over 100 miles of progress, so the rest is done either by actively driving on the highway for like 15 hours, or (what I did) use an out of bounds glitch to fall infinitely and rack up the miles that way, which took almost 50 hours of idling in total.. So all in all not a terrible game to go back to, just boring. Tier 1 Dead or Alive 5 (PS3, 0.52%) - 100% MotoGP 09/10 (PS3, 0.81%) - 100% Limbo (Vita, 3.44%) - 100% Monster Hunter World (PS4, 4.67%) - 100% Mafia II (PS3, 1.11%) - 100% So I got exactly 5 unfinished UR games left on my profile (excluding Necrodancer lol), so just gonna list those for Tier 2, even though it's likely I'll do some other quick UR game in between. Tier 2 Mirror's Edge (PS3, 0.66%) - 63% N++ (PS4, 4.52%) - 72% La-Mulana EX (Vita, 1.01%) - 21% Trackmania (PS4, 1.26%) - 59% Rogue Legacy (PS4, 2.95%) - 20%

Pretty cool little game, its clearly intended to be a nuclear throne clone, probably more than any other game i ve seen. Mostly it succeeds with fast fun gameplay and savage rng. Graphics are simple but effective, soundtrack is a little repetitive, but for a 1 man dev, its an achievement to make this style of game work. Interesting that it starts as a roguelite but has a toggle to turn that mode off making the trophy list easier. Nothing too difficult here, just good topdown twinstick shooter fun.
Popular Post OBSTINATIO
Difficulty: 4/10 Time for 100%: 40-45 hours Game Rating: 8/10 Trophy-List: 9/10 Number of UR-Trophies: 1 Didn't expect to complete Just Cause 2 this quickly after all but I sure had a great time revisiting one of my favorite PS3-games ever (wuuhhu my first PS3-Backlog-Game done this year). First of all I want to point out that the estimated time in the trophy-guide is way too high with 80 hours – it took me exactly 39:18:16 to complete and I didn't hurry at all. Also I would not recommend to do two playthroughs, like the guide suggests, but instead just one on the highest difficulty – the game is really not that hard. Trophy-wise Just Cause 2 has a fantastic trophy-list for completionists: Just collect and complete everything you come across and you will get the Platinum without ever checking a guide; also no missables and everything can be done within one playthrough like I said. Other than this I was really surprised how good this game still looks and how fun the gameplay is, even after doing the same thing for countless hours – blowing shit up never gets old I guess. After having completed all Just Cause games, I honestly think that Just Cause 2 is still the best out of all the Just Cause games. Hopefully there will be another Just Cause title soon, but I don't think so. Tier I: (3/5) 1) Generation Zero (PS4) 2) Grand Theft Auto V (PS4) 3) Just Cause 2 (PS3) 4)...
